I thought there were no 1/48 CF's.... are there????? I'd rather spend my money on the Super Stealth than in this.... this... ummm.... thing, yeah, that! 392522 Yes, there are 1/48 Cfs. I have 4 myself. I think they are just plain addictive. I'm sure most suppliers still have them.

I gave up in waiting for it. I know it's comming sooner or later, so there's no need to worry. A year from now we will not even remember this long wait. Enjoy the wait guys, remember when the first 1/48 came out? That was a long wait IMO.

Wow, Thtat's an excellent catch! Keep the fishing up!

Well, if you listen to the lyrics you'll notice, that it matches key moments. For example, everytime the singer says anything: "engines pumping and thumping in time" or "the green light flashes, the flags go up" or "but he's driving and striving and hugging the turns." There is always some link to what lyrics describe. I think is pretty entertaining IMO.

I'm not sure about this one. But I'm still getting 2 of them...

I'm working on the water mark. It's too distracting you are right. There will be many, many pictures comming up. Thanks, and I'm sorry about the inconvenience. V!C

Here is the first piece. This one below is a mechanical pencil art, and I did it by memory! Then I painted it in Photoshop. ALso, I painted every color /version of the VF-1 including the new Stealth! As you can see all the shadows where As you can see the sheet paper was in bad shape, but I love the effect. Wow, I'm unable to post the pic. Is there a size restriction? Does anybody knows what is it?

Shawn & Graham, Moderators, I here by ask for your permision to post my artwork in your website. Not only Macross art will be depicted, but a recollection of some of my best artwork so far. If you feel this may defy the porpuse and idiosyncrasy of these forums, please feel free to delete/lock this thread at any time. I warn you, you may miss some of the best artwork of women I've ever created. Starting with my avatar, I made this drawing a couple of years back, and it has been my trusty avatar for years now. That is a fraction of the original drawing I made back then. Now I've decided to remove the outlines, and set it free! This is to the people I know in this forums and everyone who doesn't mind a sad story, but enjoys good illustrations. Otherwise, you're welcome to pass up this section and go right ahead to the pictures ;P I'm pouring my heart out here Ladies & Gentlemen, so this is the time to skip ahead if you wish to. Hi guys, it's been a long time since I have posted any of my material on the web. You guys already now I'm a Macross nut! Yeap, Macross have been one of the greatest inspirations of my life. Thanks Kawamori San! I love you! So I have poured all this inspiration on my art, and it created great succes mostly while I lived in Panama city, Panama. I'm humble enough to say I worked in the number one advertising agency in Panama BB&M(Boyd Barcenas & Marcos) (it's position is determined by how much money the agency makes per year, and there is always a higher goal year after year) Yes, it is like a horse race. But it's an amazing job, and you get to know many celebrities. I moved to the USA with my wife, so We could finish our studies. In a matter of two years, our extraordinary relationship came to an almost unpredictable end. We broke up and divorced. I even quit my job in "Our" quest for somthing better. Yeap, We actually decided together the fait of that job. I worked for an entertainment magazine called Latinomix, in houston. (never really liked that name). After my divorce I lost my mojo for Art. Everything from Music to Graphic Design, Animation, Illustrations, 3D, Video Editing, Photography, and even Flying airplanes went to HELL(yes, and I did have to go to school for all that stuff)(I'm still paying it all back ) (only Illustrating was always within me). Yeap, I totally lost my passion. So now I work nights as a sleep technician It's a very interesting job, and it has made me take better care of my self. You wouldn't believe the nurses you meet, sexy and beautiful(which is like 4% of the hospital's entire population ) . I continue to draw almost everynight Pencil baby, you can't live without it! Now, I feel it's comming back. Almost 4 years after that holocaust called divorce ended, I'm still hurting. I'm a much colder calculating person these days. And I'm not proud of it. My existing relationships are purely material, and calculated. It's all chemical changes in our brain what makes us feel like we're in love. For some reason, I seem to govern those chemical changes in other people. Yes I'm dirty. Now, I don't lie, they know what I want, and so far I have managed to succesfully deliver that excitement they apparently need. That is something that came back to me 2 years after the divorce. I was dead, I could not talk to a woman, I forgot how to...it was a horrible time... 2 years without a woman, I can't explain it... I'm addicted to them Now, I feel the emotion building up, exiting my chest, and entering my brain. Creating, Moving, Shinning, Burning. Just like a train I feel it comming back towards me. My goal in this new enterprise is going to be finishing all the artwork I left aside. On the bright side it could mean bussines by itself, or in the dark side, it can just be pieces of artwork for my portfolio. Then get another job in the industry. While the last option sounds positive, I would prefer to have something of my own. Something I've built. I owned my own Magazine in part with 4 other associated designersfor one year while I was in Panama. It was called Zipper Magazine (another entertainment Magazine.) Being your own Boss is so hard. So very hard, but not impossible. Specially if you work in the #1 Ad Agency in the whole country for more than 7 years. To conclude, you guys will be my audience only if you guys and girls decide to become my audience. So this is my promise: Every week I'll show work in progress of my creations. I promise to be fast, and consistant. Every month one painting at the very least will be finished and exhibited on this thread. Please bear in mind, that my work is very detailed, therefore time consuming. As always suggestions and ideas will be taken into consideration. I'll eventually have my own website, and hopefully small animations will be presented for your enjoyment. I feel a lot of love and passion in this forums. I feel the love again, I feel like you guys need to see this art. I know you guys are evil critics, and that's exactly what artists need to polish some techniques, and also to create new things. I'm very confident about my art, so please don't feel like you're offending my ego. So put on your seatbelts MacrossWorld, 'cause its ON like DonkeyKong! Sincerely, V!C P.S. Chowser, I'm sorry I have not been in touch with you. As you can see there's baggage that needs to be removed, and it is happening now. I'll be in contact! Thanks for your patience.

Wow, great work guys! This is amazing!

You're a very lucky man! Congrats!

1/48: #1 12 FP(does that count?) #2 6 GBP armors #3 4 VF-1S & 4 CFs I don't even know if a FP would count, but they are quite pricey to not mention them.
-
I'd say, get more than one if you can, and save in shipping. Man, shipping is killing me. Hundreds of dollars spent in the friggin' shipping A 1S, and a 0S Roy should be nice! Then you have the immediate progression of Roy's valk. I do agree with the Hikkie 1S also. Such a handsome valk

Uh? Low vis Zero? When is it coming out? Is it limited? This color scheme sucks! There's no way that's an old magazine! Yeah, IIRC that magazine pic was posted very early in this thread. I'm glad we are now closer to the release date. Now lets hope we get a 1/48 1D or a 1/60 0D!
-
Wow, that's so nice, I'll send you a clean copy of the picture above, you choose: Roy's, Hikaru, Max, Miria, CF, or LV2 Thanks for the commentaries, they are uplifting!

I though of this countless times... I do want to make posters sell them, and show off my skills! This one below is a mechanical pencil art, and I did it by memory! Then I painted it in Photoshop. ALso, I painted every color /version of the VF-1 including the new LV2! As you can see all the shadows where As you can see the sheet paper was in bad shape, but I love the effect. The copy attached is a collage I made to show the other colors. The original file a big file, and you can change the color of the valks and the pilots by just clicking on the layers Or you can do combinations like a LV2 Roy It's awesome! Enjoy!

I was a pro, now I'm a pro for hire. I freelance whenever I can. It may sound like a dream, but I'm working on my own story. I have all chaacters, ships, main story(3 of them). Part of it is 3D, part of it is hand drawn. I working on a super portfolio, and that VF-1S I drew is part of it. the copy on this thread is a low res version. The high res of it can be zoomed pretty close, and you can see the details clearly. Also the arms, gun pod and right leg were not finished as you can see in the image posted. The newest version has no outlines. Errors of its predecessor have almost completely been corrected. The Face is now accurate to Kawamori's design(including camera, and intruments set up in the 1S head)(even the skull in the heatshield is exactly as the 1/48s ). There is rust, bumps, dirt, scratches, oil, in all areas of the Valk. The gun pod is actually finished. This is my "Tribute to Macross" masterpiece. Also, there's going to be a background to it. Thanks for the complements guys! Specially you Ignacio Ocamica, I'm going to start thinking you are my fan since you have kept my drawing. I think this is the second time you have made a mention to my art. Thanks for such honor You guys rock! Thanks, V!C

Soooo mean! I was a homotech fan once, then I learned Macross was it! I guess that's how we all started at one point. Unless you lived in Japan or somewhere they played the original SDF Macross TV series. Back to the point! Sell them! Order a 1/48 right now! You wont be able to put it down for a couple of years! 388353 Sorry if I hurt anybody's feelings, I still feel cheated after all these years. Yes, I grew up watching the original Macross on TV. But I was too young to understand the plot. I only remembered the valks back then. Then in '88 I saw Row-boat-tech and thought it was Macross translated. It took me 5 years to realize I was duped by Uncle Macek and the Harmony Gold Bandits. By then, I've spent a small fortune buying their VHS release and crapzilla toys. I gave them away and return to the Light. The 1/48 is the ultimate toy for Macross. Unless they decided a 1/24 is better... 388365 ame here, I feel cheated, but I can't complain. I love my collection, and I'm looking forward to the new wave of Yamatos!

I've never even seen an MPC in person. It only took an MPC review for me to decide what to do. I'm still tempted about getting one, but I like displaying my valks, most importantly my 1/48 collection. If I put the MPC right next to it, all my friends will start asking what wrong with my display . If money is the issue, then go ahead and jump! Do it! Sell them! Who cares? The moment you get a 1/48 in your hands you'll understand. (Yamato should pay me for this ) Myself, once I started a poll about selling my whole 1/60 collection. In the end I realized that in that immediate moment money was not the issue. Then I kept the whole collection. Granted, the only 1/60 in display are my Elint and Ostrich, and sometimes a CF and the 1D. Everything else is in the boxes. When I got my first 1/48, I knew it would not be the last. 19 valks later I realize the same thing... I know it will not end there. OMG, and the 1/60 line keeps expanding

Thanks for the complement! I love taking pictures!

I re-visited this drawing and made that and other areas lighter. It is a such a detailed drawing that it is hard to change things on it. So many layers of goodness. Thanks for the observation. Now the drawing itself is free of an outline. The funny thing is that the arrows on the head still yellow but the arms are the TV version. I kind'a LIKE'EM yellow, but I guess I'll do an extra layer... I'll update my avatar when the changes are finished. I like them both with outline, and without.
