I foun Astrotrain, Bumblebee, Hot Rod, Starscream, OP, and Megatron at Fry's electronics. I had to get all except Megatron. The Classic line rocks. They're fun, poseable and easy to transform.

They are all cute dolls, but seriously, either I get the 48's and 60's or get everything else. Sooo....

The only reason I bought Gundams was because there wasn't a single valk available to me. That's why I went crazy collecting Macross these days. The valk design is something really hard to top. It is such a carefull balance of design and fuctionality. The only Gundams I'll keep are my 1/60 Zero custom(scale ref for Macross goodness), and two MS 8th team 1/100 models.

I prefer the dull black boxes. I do like the chest piece design, but I'd rather they use it in a low opacity form combined with the black back ground.

Has anyone considered that Blue Ray (HD)DVDs will dominate the planet. I'm sure these will be released eventually in Blue Ray form. I'm still pissed at the third friggin' prequel. I hate you Anakin!

Wow, I hope this movie doesn't suck... Such a tease... Wow "The" Transformers movie is being filmed... and then you see the new designs, and can't help to think WTH? I hope Kawamori din't design these new TF creations I sort of like the weird "alien" look to them, but now they almost look like junkyard bots... I guess I'll wait to watch the movie and then opiniate.

Got the set from Kev (post V-E) and these little valks have grown on me. I've only played with the 1A Hikkie since I like how the head looks. The 1S and Max's 1A are still mint. My big complaint is about the friggin' stand which broke withing minutes of playing with it. The stand has a little rubber cup that just cracked appart like butter Other than that, G, and B modes are my favorite transitions. Specially standing right next to the Yammie Monster. I really don't know if I want to get the up comming releases, but at least I'm going to get the FP's for these 3 buggers. The 1/60 YF-19 is breaking my back... Must safe some mulah...

Beacuse if you show all the modes at once, then you have nothing to show in the magazines over the next few months and people may forget about the product. Showing each mode a few months apart helps build up anticipation and keeps it fresh in peoples minds. Graham 424944[/snapback] Just like movies, it is a teaser. A teaser keeps you a bit more interested, than just showing all main important aspects of the movie. Yes I know this is a "toy" and not a movie, but marketing still somewhat similar. Also, Yamato might still make some changes before its release. Again, I'm not taking sides. I'm personally exited about this release. Ever since I got my first 1/48 I wished Yamato would design the rest of the line with a similar approach. Actually, I do think is smart the 1/60 line gets the full gamma of Macross goodnes. I love my 1/48, but a better 1/60 YF-19 is perfect to go with the 1/60 VF-1 to compare sizes. Not to mention the Q-Rau! I hope, Yamato makes all the right decisions on the 19, and whatever else they produce. I had to pass on the Garland out of pure fear

Whenever you observe a hand drawn 2D object, as we all know distortions to object might occur. I have no reference showing a full front or side view of the YF-19 which will indicate a slight tilt down of the wings. Both stills taken from the M+ animation show the airframe slihgtly tilted downwards which would immediately show a downward angle of the wings. Since the wings are pointed forward, that would be an accurate visual effect as the wings would look like they are tilted down. In the other hand if the 19 is angled upward, then the wing would appear to be tilted slightly upwards. I've seen this animation COUNTLESS times, and I never had the impression of the 19 having a downwards tilt angle in the wings. That is my sincere opinion, and it is not intented to contradict, compete, or disrespect previous opinions about this subject. I wish the wings were slightly bigger, but I also know designing a mechanical, variable aircraft is very challenging.

I think the point here is: We want to collect most of them, because we like most of them. Which is impossible for most of us due to the high cost of these valks. This is very frustating to most of us. Yeah, I admit I try to get doubles if I can, but I've also reached my limit. Man, money do not grow in trees around here. At least not yet Also I have to re-think my storage due to yamato's "Godzilla-like" boxes

Guys, I'm not directly complaining about buying the Valks. I'm happy we have them available, but it is the amount of releases all at nearly the same time. Yamato knows this is a "high cost","quality product". I don't understand the rush in this releases. Everyone loves money, but come on. By this time Yamato knows Macross' fans will gladly buy their products. And yes, I know, if you don't like it, then don't buy it... I think "sensitive" marketing would probably help sales be more responsive, rather than saturating the market like this. That's just my opinion.

Well if they are releasing the 19, Angel Birds, Kakizaki DYRL, and 3 non canon valkyries(LV1,LV2,Stealth), it should not be hard to believe one or all of the above could make it to production. Wow, and to think I gave up believing I would get a bad@$$ 19, 21, or 11B. I keep buying them, so they keep producing cool stuff. Graham you're such a lucky dawg.

I preffer the shoulders the way they are. A huge "black" opening in fighter mode would not be attractive IMO. And it is a fact about 2d animation proportions being deformed or exagerated. Only 3d would provade accurate proportions all the time as shown in M Zero. BTW, I'm so glad the 1/60 Zero never got the fugly 1/100 treatment. Yesterday I played with the Zero, 1A Hik, CF, and the old SDF-1. I love 1/48s, but the 1/60's details are just to cool.

Wow, that is nice indeed. I do agree with a slight wing enlargement. I thing it does need a wing job Also that grey neck area throws me off big time. I really hope the head/shield gap is minimal when it is released. I've been waiting for this pretty face for a long time now. I think it would be ideally cool to have Yang in the backseat, but it seems they did not want to get into that. There is no room anyway. Hey, maybe the pilot's seat tilts, or rotates like the VF-0's. That would also be neat. I can't wait to see the Valks head, and the intake covers. I love this design. I'm drooling over the idea of VF-11B, and Omega one. Yeap, I'm drowning in drool.

My macross display is open for anyone to see. All positive reactions so far. There is only one friend that sounds like a broken record. Every time she comes over she says: "Maaaaacrrosssss" Everyone respect the display beacuase they know this things are pricey. Ahhh, there was this girl once who said: "Why don't you spend all that money in me instead of those toys" I just answered: Nahhh!
