I believe there is an association/club, mmm, SEMA? Which is for car enthusiasts. I had a client who did say he got some sort of break in the emissions thing. I believe they are involved with the state legislation who regulates laws regarding all vehicles. I believe SEMA's point of view is all about the collectible value of this cars.

Apparently the 2008 WRX has a 5 star crash rating + more airbags + stability control(on/off at will). The 06 has a premium package and my 08 does not. Luckily, I negotiated some accessories plus a special paint protection (xylon{sp?}) which makes me feel premium every time I get into my car Maybe is the premium package, but the lady on the phone did point out the safety thing...

Going back to the insurance thing, I have a 2008 WRX and it costs me $120.00/mo to insure it. I wanted to buy a used 2006 WRX(because of the shape/design) but insurance was about 50 dollars more. They got this rate using the VIN number of both vehicles. Now, the 2008 WRX had less turbo lag time compared to the 2006 WRX, and the interior IMO is far nicer. I love the 2008 WRX regardless of all the bashing and flaming about its new design. I'm very satisfied with my little blue demon! The only thing I've done to it is I changed the ridiculous front grill. Then I de-badged it. People stare twice, apparently because they don't know what the hell kinda' car I'm driving. I live in Houston BTW.

See, it is scary... Now, would it be better to contact Big west? Is that a greater evil? Or lesser? I have a great vision about Macross mecha, and I really want to share it, and of course get paid while I,m at it. I can spend my life doing this drawings, but there is got to be a way to get paid sufficiently for the effort, love, sweat, you put into these works of art. I'm a little overwhelmed about this whole subject. I though about doing a test mini production run, but I do not want to get into trouble, so I stopped. I still want scrolls of them and t-shirts for myself. I never wore my art before, but these drawings are just uncanny. I made Miria into vectors, so her resolution is perfect at any size! I'll find the way to do this one way or another. Thanks guys for your input. It is very understanding and helpful of you to contribute to this thread.

Thanks for the answers! Some time ago I created a VF-1S (you can see the VF-1S head area of the old drawing in my avatar). I decided I wanted to eliminate all the drawing's black lines thus liberating, and creating a "real" looking VF-1S. You can now clearly see the cameras inside the head visor piece, rust oil, dirt, rock/gravel impact, wind wear, everything! Well, I'm almost done, and I am really liking what it looks like too. All the people I know cannot believe I made this drawing. It feels 3D but it is 2D. I also created a valk girl Miria. And it is perfect. Both are not done yet, but I'm going to make t-shirts and wall scrolls. The world deserves to see this, and if I have to get the rights I will. I'm kind of worried about HG's reputation. I don't want them to rip me off. Honestly I'm scared, and I decided to create this thread to hear everyones opinion, before I take a step forward in this enterprice. I have so many designs, most of them originals. This two creations must see the light. They are all about love and detail. I don't know what would be the best way to approach HG about this... Will they rip me off and say I copied one of the already existing drawings? Their artwork totally suck(sorry whoever is the artist) It is inacurate and not proportional in my opinion. My VF-1S have uncanny detail and it is Kawamorrrific I wanted the perfect VF-1S creation, and now I want to share it whith the world! I feel like a beauty pageant V

How does copyright affect an original painting which resembles an existing character? If I painted Mel Gibson, would I have to pay royalties to Mel Gibson? Could I sell copies of my original artwork even if it was MG's Face? Would it matter if it was MG's face at all? In the same sense, If I painted an original version of a VF-1S, would I have to pay HG to be able to sell my painting? Even if it is an original creation of an existing shape? For example T-shirts with this design.... If I paint an original of an existing copyrighted franchise... I guess I must pay copyright fees? Is the shape itself of the VF-1S or anything else copyrighted? Wouldn't it propagate or advertise the original and already existing artwork, if my version was sold? I'm I crazy? Please help...

See, as you read this you are missing what is happening with my avatar! I totally agree. Most of my anime addicted friends look at me weird when I say I prefer dubs. I'm an artist myself, and I LOVE detail. I miss everything when I read the frigging titles. Which makes my rewind and watch again the same scene. If I knew Japanese & Chinese language all my problems would be over. Maybe I'm very slow mentally, and it takes me sooo much to read and watch at the same time. I understand sub versions are better but, in the end I'd still favor dubs. because it gives me the fully understandable audio visual experience. I own Subbed anime, but I strongly prefer Dubbed "Why would I want to read the story if i can just listen to it? Even if I mute the volume, the images are still telling the story."

Not to be negative, but apparently the panel lines on the inner leg seem a little off. (see first pic for reference) Plus, the hands are also DYRL. Other than that, it is a little nice piece of heaven. Too bad I don't have any money to put into my hobby. I'm still missing the 19 with FPs

It is really annoying trying to follow this thread. Why isn't posted in the tittle of this thread: "WARNING, SPOILERS INSIDE" All of this blacked out sentences are breaking my..... patience. I saw the movie twice, and my opinion did not change much. It is a good, even a funny movie at times. There are minor problems which become bigger when you see it the second time around. Still I loved some of the scenes, and sort of detested the camera movements at times. I guess it was a good try IMO.

Why don't we get together and create our own Transformers animation... I call Lead penciler! Lead animator/director! V!C

I really though it was only shades of grey other than the yellow. They should've just made a black and grey version for the 1J stealth. That would've been sick. You heard that Yamatonians... Sick!

Hey wait a sec... That's not a Low vis, and not a Strike... Cheers! It is a nice display. Now if you could anly include some lights within the display, it would look incredible!

...and yes, you forgot to include the "BOTH" option. The way i look at it is two(or fifty five) transforming toys take less punishment since they both share transforming events. I have all my 1/48 on dysplay, and I rarely transform all of them, because it will just take way too long. Consequently they all get transformed less times.

Hey wait a sec... I though the pilot included in the released 1A (I had no idea it was a CF) was Shin... The helmet has lightings printed on the sides right? I'm I wrong? If it was a CF, why is the pilot Shin and not just a regular CF pilot... I'm confused... I'm still getting at least one bundled 1A with the Ghost. I guess I'll have to wait an eternity for Yamato to release a 1/48 1D or any other two seater >(

If the 19 is being released, I don't see a reason why a 21 and 11B should follow. We may even see the less popular 1D, Elint and Ostrich. Right? Nay? G is rightfully a tease because he has to. I'm happy for him. Why damage or change a good thing?
