  1. I really have the hots for Kakizaki and Max's TV valk. I just hope these valks wont break at the shoulders. Thanks for the responses guys. It has been a very long time.
  2. Hmmm, So if I buy all the 1/60 newer versions, that means all of them will at least have the kites tampoed on the side of the cockpit... right? I'm curious. I have all the old school 1/60 and just the new VF-1D. If all of the new 1/60 include at least the kite and the UN SPACY tampoed on on the side of the leg, I might start collecting them. I've been out of the loop for a long while. I'm working on a new scy-fi animation and it leaves no time for anything.. I have not even looked at my 1/48 for months, maybe even a year
  3. Do all the new 1/60 have the kite printed/tampoed in the fuselage?
  4. Sorry if I'm redundant, but the G1 series has the best designs ever. Glorifying the shape of supercars as part of the robot body is what I want. I hate the new movie designs because of the little fragments of cars, and overly complicated mechanical pieces which in my opinion occludes the real beauty of the car-robot concept. I could not like this film. I felt I wanted it to end way before it was over. Awwwwhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, and I was wishing for a better film this time around.
  5. I'm getting my first V2 1/60(VF-1D) from toy-wave. I have all of the V1 1/60 and all the M+ 1/72s. I have been owned by Yamato. I can't sell the old V1 1/60 because I would loose too much money. I have a $x!T load of 1/48s(which I would never sell in a million years) so I'm done. Plus most of the1/60 VF-0's and all the 1/60 M+ I can't afford anymore of this stuff. I may get both TV Max and Kakizaki 60s. This is so unfair, but we would've NEVER had all of this if suckers like me didn't buy every freggin' release. I feel like I've shot myself in the foot... or at least it feels like it. My heart sinks... and drowns... Sux, cos the new 60's look incredible, at least in the posted pictures. I feel like I bought an Alpha Romeo....
  6. It is true, watching this movie I never felt like anyone was in any real danger. It really makes things uninteresting. All these Jedi are badasses but they get easily annihilated by the clone stormtroopers later in the 3rd movie. Where is the spidey sense? the fast reflexes? Foreseeing the future just before things happen? What is up with the stupid midiclorians? A "copy" Jango is that much better? I was the greatest SW fan for the longest time, but this latest movies have totally ruined it for me. I don't mean to be negative, but else can I say... What happened with Jorge Lucas? Either he got soft after all these years, or he just have people running everything for him? I was expecting much more. Sorry...
  7. ^^^ sorry, I did forget to say JDM. USDM is different indeed.
  8. ^^^ that was quite nice, Thanks! I can't believe the Japanese GT-R is electronically limited to 112 mph in Japan edit(in Japan)
  9. Wow, that Lotus on the previous page looks a bit.... mmm.... I don't like it. It is already a good car the way it is. 21city/27highway is amazing for a car that takes 4 seconds from 0 to 60. I wonder how much MPG the "green" lotus can achieve. I don't know what is wrong with me. I have the Lotus bug. I think is Top Gear has ruined my brain. Are these cars reliable? 1.8 liter engine 1984 lb of curb weight Oh man... BTW, I love the old school NSX! Remember Pulp fiction?
  10. Here is another quick pic. I changed the plate's frames.
  11. I don't know... People keep saying that a RWD is a proper sports car form so I guess we'll have to wait until we test drive this thing. The only reason why I bought my car is because the test drive was just spectacular. 10 test drives later and you own the car If I can do a perfect sliding u turn, and the car handles well above 70 mph then I'll buy it! I have tried the u-turn maneuver in my gf's BMW 325i and it was scary. So scary. I would seriously pray for a 22b with all the new tweaks to the engine. OMG it would be the best car ever. Specially since the new models have much more high tensile steel to improve body rigidity. A new Silvia sounds awesome, and the Genesis sounds too good for company with really no experience in sport cars. Again, we have to test drive all these cars when they come out. I have to remind myself to test drive all of them. I seriously adore the handling in my car, but I have the car bug. I really want to see if I am missing on something great out there. Yeah, I know this is not Subaru's proper marketing strategy. Car makers are always at war, so I guess anything is valid. I'm seriously considering keeping my car, but I must see more. I personally don't like Toyota messing around with Subaru. It could be good... bad... I'm just waiting
  12. Thanks everyone for the complements! It is a very exiting car. Especially when it comes to power slides This thing has tons of grip regardless of the skinny tires it comes with. This car has been heavily criticized do to its slightly softer suspension ( a bit of roll, but very controlled roll I must say) which was intended for a better/comfortable ride. The car is "too quiet" so people find themselves going faster than what they think. I personally think the exhaust is not that quiet, but I'm curious. I'm changing the springs and exhaust to find out if it is all that better, hopefully not sacrificing the cars comfy/sporty ride. I also believe the hatchback shape of the STI does not merit the car's super bad-ass status and abilities. Remember this new STI and WRX have both been re-worked and they have a lower, wider torque band. They all come with standard stability control, EBD, start hill assist(which is freaky if you know how to handle M/T) and plenty of other goodies. Another good thing is you can turn off all the BS, and still drive the car Raw. The new STI is growing on me, but I strongly prefer the old sedan design. The chassis was a bit more in tune in the old one, needless to say, a very good thing. I believe Subaru is going to release a beefed up sedan in about 2 years. If I have the money, I might consider going after that version. It's styling will be very aggressive. Also Toyota-Subaru are releasing a sports RWD coupe, which might sound appealing. The RWD coupe is going to weight less than 3000lb and it is apparently going to be priced under 20,000.00 USD. It'll carry a horizontally oposed Subaru 2.0 liter engine, which is supposedly going to generate 220 bhp(which sounds uncanny for a 2.0 liter). In other words, this is going to be a little light beast. Subaru will sell this car in the US, while Toyota will limit sales to Japan only. There's a rumored turbo charged AWD version for the US, but I don't even think this is a valid rumor. It really depends on how the test drive goes when it makes it here in 2011. I love AWD, but we'll see what this little RWD bugger has to offer. This cars are all about handling. Sick handling. That's all I want. At this moment I can care less about luxury. I want speed, handling, and fun. Again, thanks everyone for the complements. Today, I received weathertech floor liners and new license plate frames for the REX. The frames make the plates look slimmer without obscuring/blocking them. I'll post pictures of them in the car if guys want to see them. I just don't want to impose, and show too many pictures. Pictures of the exhaust and lowering STI springs will be posted as soon as I can get them installed. BTW, I want to see some pictures of your cars too! I've only seen a couple. Also, thanks AreaSeven for the awesome super car pictures you always post in this thread. If I'm not mistaken you're a fan of Jezza/Hamster/May's Top gear... I'm addicted to that show!
  13. I've been away for a while now. Someone requested some pics a while ago. They are not very good pics but here you go: BTW, I installed a front under spoiler, Perrin short antenna, Subaru under-the-seat subwoofer, and Momo Shiftknob. I have STI springs sitting next to my desk waiting to be installed. I'm still waiting to receive the SPT cat-back which has been delayed. The SPT intake is not out yet. I'm thinking about a short throw shifter, but I'm still not sure about spending any more money. I even stopped collecting Macross due to this new "enthusiast" habit I hope you enjoy the poor phone-camera pics. My roomate's STI pre-redout tails Subaru-Momo shift knob.
  14. I haven't been around here in a while. I saw the pics in the previous pages and they made me smile. Now this... I'm a modafogin roller coaster right now
  15. 2142 is all I play right now!
  16. Dude, I'm soooo jelous of your collection! OMG! That Eureka is huge... Does it transform? WOW! BTW, sorry to hear 'bout your VF-19...
  17. I just want to get intake-exhaust bolt on replacements. Likely, I would go SPT or STI (warraty+resale value)parts. Apparently this will give you a combined 30hp, now I don't know if this is at the wheels. Tunning wise, if it is required, then I'll will definitely do it. Yes, my WRX is ST(single turbo ) In reality, I've learned the limits of my engine by the book and by experience. I know its limitations and graceful advantages. To be honest, how fast does one has to be? I'm satisfied with it, and some or many of you might disagree, but I don't have to show off or race people I don't even know or care about. I do occasionally, but in reserved occasion were other people might not be in jeopardy. I'm usually very smooth on the road. There are too many cops asking for any excuse(other than having a sporty looking car) to stop you and take your money away. I do see idiots in the streets all the time, so I just hope they don't cause an accident which could involve someone I know or a family member. Just my opinion...
  18. I hear you. Man I need some sleep too. 13 hours days 5days a week... Uff...
  19. I though about exaust, but it'll have to wait. Dual pipes, means dual mula! And don't worry I take it easy on the ricers... I always let them think they are going to win Nah, I'm mostly a cool headed drivah.
  20. The Low vis 1 is cooler because I have it Back then I carefully applied the stickers. i never knew it would become sooo expensive. Still, the stickers don't have the clear part so it looks very good. To be honest, I like them all. kawamori managed to design something so cool, pretty much any color configuration looks good on it.
  21. Nah, I'm just kidding! I hope your project goes well! Keep us posted! In the end it is a flat four, so maybe it is possible...
  22. mmm... man, I need some of that stuff you're smoking
  23. needs bigger everything
