  1. Sorry guys, but I can't stand the dog fighting mode in this new version of ace combat. The end This is first time ever I am not getting ace combat....
  2. Instead of feeling bad for those who bought Ver 1, we should all be thankful .They basically helped funding Ver 2. I don't understand this sort of thinking, no offense. I own no frontier valks, and I wish I did. BTW, Thanks Graham/Shawn for having the forums back. It looks great.
  3. houston tx: walmart and target have loads of generations wheejack, warpath, thundercracker, kup, and scourge. Go get them while supplies last.
  4. Pardon me Shaorin, but I do not handle these valks like normal toys. Heck I don't even handle my normal toys like toys. In fact I have never broken any of my macross collectibles. I truly like these valks and I treasure them for what they are: works of art. The main point here is to get replacement parts for our "precious" collectibles. Disintegration of joints is the subject here, so pleeeease reserve the sermon for another thread. Thank you for understanding, in advance
  5. Man Yamato needs to make these parts available to us the users/costumers. I have all 1st editions of the YF-19 and Macross zero valks. I just transformed the yf-19 two days ago and it felt ok. I have transformed the 19 like a total of 10 times since its release and now it is going to disintegrate I have not had an issue yet, but I would like have repair parts which are stronger just in case. This is scary as hell. This makes me nearly angry, and it makes me not want to get anything else for good. Thanks Graham as always, and I appreciate your honesty. I hate to even make a negative comment on your site, but man... I hope my Valks last for a long time.
  6. Yeah you are not supposed to make a fist. I analysed all the videos. What they fail to tell you is the ankle joint has to be in the exact and correct position. other wise the hand in the "correct" position will not fit at all. For some reason this reminds me of the vf-22 I have. Great piece, and astonishingly styled like the real anime[tf movie] hot rod character. I would recommend this piece to any Tf fan, but I must say: You have to be gentle, otherwise you will get a fracture. btw, I still have issues with the leg position on my VF-22. I think it could be a bit better.
  7. OMG it took me hours to figure this one out. I think the main trick here is getting the feet in the right position while transforming Rodimus into vehicle mode. If you don't get the feet position right, then the hands will not fit at all, as they should. This was a complete mind ****. Excellent collectible in both modes! This was almost as hard as a YF-21/VF-22 imho.
  8. well, I exchanged it. This time I randomly picked one up from the shelf. The Attendant at TRU naturally said they have had no complaints about this release. They even said a guy bought 7 of them at the same time. I politely told them if this one was broken I would want my money back. I just hope this one is in perfect condition. I am very impressed with both modes of this toy as seen on the youtube videos. It looks exactly like the one in the TF original movie. I can't wait to see if this one is broken too. I'll report my findings later on. Wish me luck
  9. I am seriously considering exchanging it. Is this a truly fun toy? I am very doubtful about its play ability value. thanks for the reply.
  10. So after much deliberation, and a careful study of online transformation videos, I took a step forward and bought the TRU Hasbro Rodimus. After examining several Rodimi boxes in the store, I chose the one which apparently had the best paint application. Only to find out, as I opened the box, the left arm was broken clear off the shoulder hinge. The remaining piece has the spring still on, but you can see it is obviously broken. I hadn't finished taking it out of the box, and it went right in again. Shall I exchange it for another Rodimus? Or shall I just get my money back and forget about this whole thing? The way I feel now, I just want my money back. Has anyone experienced this before? With the hasbro Rodimus release? I do play with my toys and I have never broken anything in the past. I have over 60 yamato valks and none of them have ever broken on me. Heck I even have the old school 1/72 yamie VF-11b and the hips are still intact. Rodimus was broken inside the box... will this be a warning of things to come?
  11. I am passing on the TRU Hotrod. Not my favorite character, and apparently it is plagued with issues. If it was cleverer, I would get it in a heart beat. On another note, yes, the igear seekers look great, but come on, it was Shoji Kawamori who did 99% of the job. (yes, I know, someone has mentioned this before) aaaannnnd, come on, kibble is the result of poor planing and/or a ridiculously low budget. No need to defend horrendously huge kibble in any of these toys, no matter how much we love them. I personally hate the fact that my favorite character Jetfire, now a fabulous Sr-71, is pregnant with kibble. I passed on that one too, and I can't stand his robot form anyway... In fact, due to him, I gave away most of my "movie" tranformers, excpet for my Alliance Bumblebee v1. I am done. I am going to keep collecting the G1 figures I desire, and leave the movie monsters alone. Yes, Michael Bay's monsters. I have most of the classic/generations/reveal the shield/henkei figures, except for Skywarp and cliffjumper. Plus some Masterpieces. I wish TRU Hotrod was better I mean no offense by stating all this.
  12. seriously, anyone has any feedback from this store. Very interested.
  13. If i didnt know you for nearly 10 years i would be mad at you UN SPACY! nah, just kidding. yeah i wonder why haven't they done the ghost yet. Even in MF there are plenty of ghosts around.
  14. I had reduced my allowance for toys too man. Granted they are beautiful toys in nearly every way, but the prices are driving me off the chart. With my 1/60 macross line now far from complete(I wish I had any of the macross frontier toys or a tomahawk or riffle man), and my 1/48 collection sort of complete, the only things I can buy are these generations/classics figures. I have the takara MP1 with a comedy trailer, MP Starscream, and MP Megatron. For now, that is sufficient. At one point I wanted to have every Optimus Prime I could possibly get.[i never had the original OP] The fact is I just gave away my "1st real life TF movie" Optimus and a huge Bumblebee camaro thing. Ha ha, I even have the Monkey Optimus(in black), the firetruck RID OP, the Kawamory mini OP, and the classics/generations OP. I will have to skip this new pricey OP. I just want Wheeljack and ThunderCracker for now. Really, I can't complain much. It is nice to see a flat nosed semi Optimus been followed by nearly 20 transforming cars and trucks which resemble those of my childhood. And yes, I wish I could get the Japanese-better finished versions, but as of now... naaah
  15. Got grapple by divine luck. 3rd planet, houston.
  16. My hat off to you vampire hunter d. Awesome skills. I just went to fry's yesterday April 20(houston, on 59s and beltway an got Sgt Kup and scourge, and i am glad to report that they are excellent toys. I saw tracks, and Jazz, which I have. Also I saw The motorcycle guy with the beard thing going on (wregar???)[not a fan personally} THE generations/classics version everyone is looking for right now. If houston fans want to get a hold of these. they cost 12.99 usd, in the aboved mentioned Fry's. Good luck mates! I did not see wheeljack or thundercraker has anyone seen them? i was wishing kup and scourge where hanging out with wheeljack and thundercracker

  18. Thanks Graham for the info. OMG nuclear? I thought about it for a sec, but never really thought it would happen
  19. My prayers are with you guys in Japan. So sorry
  20. So that means my "mp" walmart skywarp has blunted tail fins. I hope is made of strong plastic. Those tail fins look like a tragedy waiting to happen. I have both mp optimus and mini metal optimus with kawamoris face in the box. I just wish kawamori had resolved the rudder position better on the robot mode differently.
  21. Here is some Blurry action =)
  22. Lol, it is not an excuse. It is reallity. The dog didn't eat at my skywarp lol... The funny thnig is I got a huge skywarp mib from a sale at walmart for 30bucks. It is the size of my Mp starscream which. Is painted Navy military colors (fisrt ed I think) . I was late at work and I couldn't remember. I am mising thunerccraker an skywrp from the classic's scale. I am liking Blur for his huge head (what she said) and gun bolsters. He looks ready to tear some stuff up. Never got drift trying to be loyal to gen 1.5ish plus guns have a bit more range than swor ds
  23. Skywarp! thanks. I am more of a Macross nut, than a transformers nut
  24. they were Starscream , thundercracker, and?it was blck and i cant remember is name Need the blue and the black. opened Blurr and perceptor. i kind of like perceptor is a rescue threaded vechicle. I think his humanoid shape is spot on
  25. Ok, I had to get perceptor. At target on eldridge & westheimer in hoston. There were 2 Tracks and 2 Jazz. Also 3 thundercracker (orange wing con head). Ther was just one perceptor and I had to get it...
