Beautiful VT-1 Lolicon. I have the very old Yamato V1 Vt-1 and Ve-1. I know they are old, but i still love them. They rest in perpetual fighter mode. I also got them from a member here over 10 years ago xD Enjoy your valk, such a beautiful piece. -
Sorry about that, i meant to type "printing" but my head was in the past. Sounds very cool. i hope it all goes well, and i want to see your print works!

Oh man, i've had these for so many years, and still i have not brought myself to open them. Is this your first casting project?
-
I do like the idea. I have 5 V2 1/60 Yamies which i have yet to open and inspect. I don't even know where to get replacements right now. I am hoping those shoulder hinges wont go out on me. edit in: i would also like DYRL hands for the 1/48 models. These are more angular and less mickey mouse looking.

The 1/48 Hikaru 1S is a thing of beauty, but then again, they all are imho. The 1/48 did have a massive chest, the arms are a bit too low in fighter mode, and those chicken hands. These hands can be swapped by TV style hands though. These guys know their stuff, maybe a V2 1/60 is what you are looking for. I own 5 V2 Vf-1 models and have yet to transform one. I am sort of afraid of the shoulders tbh. I bought them like a year or two later after release, so i don't know if the shoulders are fragile or not. I don't know if yamato ever addressed this problem during their production runs.

i don't understand why can't i sell my chunky monkeys... I guess i really wanted one, but they used to cost 1k back then. I love My HM VF-1j, but i have to say, rarely transform it. I may transform a 1/48 any day in seconds, but not my HM VF-1j. I don't know if it is the swap the cockpit gimmick, not sure. I would say do get a 1/48 or a nice v2 1/60 as others say. i'd say dollar per dollar the most fun/accurate VF-1 valks of all time. I was wondering, did many people get rid of their 1/48s due to the super accurate v2 Vf-1?
-
I still have all my 1/48 valks. I even sold one, and bought it back some months later, lol. I had to get the holy quartet [Roy, Hikaru, Max, & Kaki] in V2 VF-1 1/60 just for kicks, and they are still boxed. I have all my V1 yammie 1/60, and all my 1/55 chunky monkeys . Naturally i had to get the Macross Plus valks, including an Arcadia YF-19. I even have the very old 1/72 Macross plus valks which started it all. I am still really in love with 1/48 even when they are not sculpted perfectly. I can't get rid of them, and i don't want to. I only have an HM 1j, HM-R Regult, and Glaug, and i like them. I think the HM-R line is very nice, specially due to the enemy mecha. i wish Bandai makes the destroids, and other mecha i missed when yamato released them in 1/60. I knew i would lament not getting those, but i could not back then. Is this too much? I don't know, but it makes it difficult to justify getting any more of this stuff. Only thing for me to do is take massive amounts of pictures and share them with the world xD Edit in: I Also have the Bandai Fire bomber 1/65 VF-19 and VF-17. I actually sold my first Toynami Alpha, and then bought one on sale a while later but i don't even feel like playing with it. I do remember it being a PITA to transform properly.

It is quick, it is sufficiently quick. i just want it to last for a while, so i am doing preventive maintenance at this moment. No plans on increasing power any further for now. i Just have a lot in my plate, so all my toys will have to play second fiddle for now. Thanks for Scoopalicious comment!

Mine came with 268 BHP, and i use a Cobb programer and a 93 Oct stage 2 map. Yes, it is an OTS map, but it has been good to me, and i've had no problems. I replaced my turbo back exhaust and loaded the map into the ecu. Here is a graph in WHP of the power gains. I've loved my Rex ever since. I love it when my seat hit me in the back of my head xD And again, congrats on the ride. I've driven the 2009 G8 GXP manual, and it was F****ing amazing. I really would like to try this newer Chevy SS here in 'Murica. You said they improved it, and I thought it was already perfect The Power was immediate and brutal, great turn in, with minimal roll. It was a memorable car. Sadly this G8 died in the houston floodings. R.I.P. G8 GXP, you were awesome BTW, i went to the gym the other day, and i found this Edit in: BTW i decided to illustrate my own scoop.

Howdy there Texan mate! Thanks man. Yep Spanner, they are pretty good, but not as powerful as your beast, but very good and grippy indeed. I went stage two in 2010 and it is till going strong and fast. I hope it lasts, since i am pretty demanding with it. i changed sway bars, endlinks, Turboback exhaust, lighter wheels, and I had to change the whole audio system. Sorry subaru but your "base model" system is very bad. I am afraId one day it will go BOOM, but hey, it was fun xD Rexy kept me safe in every weather, and in the place where i wanted to be in traffic. I have nothing more to say than Thank you Subaru. I've been with subaru since 2008 and it has been a fun road, every day until today.

Thanks Spanner! Yeah i heard amazing improvements were made to the Commodore/G8 platform. Enjoy your whip mate! I am sorry everyone, my gear head took over me We will continue this in the automotive thread.

Yep, a Rex it is, thanks! The king of the traffic kingdom
