Even if i forgot to use our tools, which i did, lol. I think it is sort of a bad marketing move, when products are not easily available to all. Plus no 2 seaters either in the old Yammie 1/48 line. Instead of perfecting and finishing the 1/48 line, they jumped ship and went with the 1/60 V2. Not to beat on an old dead horse, but that was my greatest dissapointment back then. Let's hope Bandai finishes the 1/48 line properly. As they have almost done with the VF-1 HM-R series. BTW, is there a TV 1A Max, and TV 1A Kakizake in the HM-R line?

Thanks Jenius, i knew there was a catch. I hope Bandai release these two. How hard can it be for a company to release the main TV mecha. Sometimes i hate exclusive/mail order editions, i swear.

Did Yamato officially release the 1/48 TV MAx, & Kakizaki? Or was it like a web special. I doubt many MW memebers have these two. I would have them, that's for sure. BTW Amiami requested payment. I told them to shut up and take my money.

I hope so. 1/48 2 seaters was like Yamato's kriptonite. Same goes with Kakizake, and Max's TV valk.

I am thinking there will be an option parts later with the fast packs, or GPB. Maybe we will see a ver 2 of this toy in the future.

Is it me, or does Hikaru looks like he is a bit too forward in that cockpit? Also, i think Graham mentioned he looks a lil' bit too small. Not neat picking, just an observation. Also, i wish it had the battloid ejection seat optional parts. Anyway, my soul is prepared. May this be the best valk of all time?

Good luck Rdrunner! Amiami here too, no news yet.

I do have to say, i was never a fan of the "neck" on the V2 Yammy/Arcadia 1/60. I do still think they are the best iterations of a valk to date. The question is, shall i sell my still new boxed 5 Yammies, and continue my 1/48 addiction, Or just keep them for historic reasons, lol. I still can't let go off my 1/48 Yammies, so might as well add more to the madness. I wonder if the "triangle" sticker on the 1/48 yammie, would fit on the new Dx series. Did anyone notice the little skull * bones [jolly roger] behind the cockpit is not there either?

Amptor, sorry to interrupt, but i think what they are trying to say is: Sharing is not the same as Bragging. nightmareB4macross, wow, i completely forgot about that thread!, brings back memories! On Topic, I have a sickness for the HiMetal- R VT-1, and there's only one remedy...

Merry Christmas to you all. Waiting on Amiami here too.

I still can't bring myself to buy the damrn missiles. It is like listening to a phone ring eternally, but you won't answer it... Nudes or not, plot & character development is what matters to me in any sort of movie. I tried watching Baywatch back then, and the plot could not engage me. Tip of the hat to the beautiful cast, but I was bored with plot. Plot? With that said, i think people exaggerate when it comes to nudity. Have you ever seen yourself in the mirror?

In a way, the TV 1D is like the movie VT-1 in DYRL. but you’re right, even in DYRL it is not fully tricked out.

It is sad and scary we live in a world where bootlegs are becoming more desirable than the real thing. Maybe I should say improved bootlegs. A few years back i got Weijiang's MPP-10 Optimus Prime, and i have to say i love that thing. It is the only bootleg i've ever bought, but i am considering getting others in the future... -
What wallet? Mine was disintegrated with my last Valkyrie purchase...

I do like the ratchety sounds, and the tampo printing. I don't mind the huge upper intakes either. The fighter mode looks super solid too. My only gripes are the feet extruding very far from the figther mode, and the massive head in the bottom. At least the arms are not hanging low. Does anyone here have the SD kitzconcept joke machines? If so, how are they holding up?

Actually, the Achilles heel of the original chunky monkeys was the shoulder hinges. My first ever chunky monkey I bought was already split in half at those shoulder hinges. It was the only thing i could get, so i bought it, and I still have it today. Also a friend gave me one that was missing the tail, and the shoulder hinges were also broken. I did get the 1/55 Bandai, re-releases. If you handle them with care they'll last an eternity. This last video, shows the "robotech" fighter properly transformed. I have to say, i'm tempted to pull the trigger on one of these. Maybe i'll wait for a review first. Also, i am guessing the Gerwalk mode is not its forte, since only one valk is on display, is in that mode. Are you guys getting these from Robotech.com , or from kitzconcept.com directly?

That was some brutal handling of a Valkyrie. It does sound ratchety. I hope it is durable at least. Agreed, the man in the video appears to be so unfamiliar with a Valkyrie.
