Not a fan of these, particularly, but it does stand out as it has more detail. Yeah, i think it is a bit too tick on the panel lines, but it does look more finished. If you had to choose between an HM-R and this Kitzconcept, what would it be?

I am starting to like the more spacious cockpit in this new DX. Maybe Bandai can make a Misa sitting on Hikaru figure for this cockpit.

Great Pictures all of you! Sadly, i finally opened my Dx VF-1J, and i got one of the bad ones. Floppy left leg at the intake, uneven wings at the back. I love how it looks, but i keep thinking how long until it becomes a floppy mess(i am looking at you heels!). I Love the heft, of this valk. The metal feet gave the brief impression the whole leg was metal, lol, but ofc it isn't. It feels like an advanced 1/48 Yammie, but I don't feel as confident handling it. I checked the screws on the left leg, and they are tight. It seems like the ratchet is loose on the thigh. Super loose.

^ ^ ^ Maybe next we will get the true and pure transformation of a VF-1 in... 1/35th scale? i think Bandai could have done this with their 1/48, but they did the complicated sway bar thing instead. I am sorry, i still haven't opened mine. So this is based on what i've been reading.

i never understood the mini cons thing. I know i may need to watch the animation to understand it, but how does a car hanging off your arm would help you fight? I don't mean to sound negative or interrupt, but i may skip this line altogether. -
If you notice in my illustration or avatar, those three vertical "holes" on the chest, are apparently used as thrusters during the DYRL Max & miria's dogfight. Except, somehow they look circular on the film.

Mine arrived yesterday, and I still haven’t gotten around to open it. Amiami seemed to only put massive amounts stuffing material, only on top and on the sides of the shipping box, lol. All in all, amiami did their job well on my first buy from them. Well done amiami.

I have quite a few 1/48 yammies and arms were never a problem. What do you mean the arms sagged? Oh, do you mean in fighter mode? The arms wont sag as long as they are properly pegged between the legs.

Yes, thanks! The Vermilion squadron only got love in the Yammie V2 1/60 line. The "exclusive" mail order Yammie 1/48 versions helped me miss those releases. Sorry to say this, but even Robotech respects the Vermilion squadron more than Yamato and Bandai ever did. I will not buy the robotech versions for obvious reasons though. I hope their kitzconcept 1/72 line is amazing, since i know they will release the full squadron. My 1/55 line, incomplete. My 1/48, incomplete. My HM-R line, incomplete. My V1 1/60 Yammie, incomplete. I had to go and buy the V2 1/60 Yammie valks, to finally have the complete Vermilion squadron. Then, I never opened them, for fear of the evil fracturing shoulders. It drives me nuts. All i want is that and the 1D, and it is always a pain to complete it. Is it too much to ask for 4 a valk squadron and a 1D? I had to buy 5 lines of products, to only have one of them completed. Yes, i am frustrated to the core. If Bandai releases the Vermilion squadron first, I promise I'll visit Japan, and lick Mr & Mrs Bandai's feet.

It still boggle my mind how the TV 1A Max and Kakizaki are mostly left behind. In my mind the TV series was immensely more popular than the movie. Maybe it is different in Japan? If it was up to me, TV Roy, Hikkie, MAx and kakizake would be the primal focus of the series.

Absolutely, I always panel line at least a Hikkie 1J, a 1S, and a CF. About getting multiples, my wallet had a serious talk with me, and it is not possible at this point.
