The DX 1J pre-order lasted from 5 to 7 minutes. I was ready, i had all shops on screen, and to me me, this one lasted 2 minutes.

I don't know how some of us got 3 orders in. I had 5 websites opened, and I barely managed to get one in cart, and then it collapsed... along with the others. Congrats to you gents. You are really lucky.

It makes all the sense in the world. The first release doubled in price immediately. Scalpers don't care or know about characters, they want to sell. Arsewipes of the earth.... Sorry guys, i am still butthurt from last night.

Macross, Southern Cross, and Mospeada are owned by Harmony Gold. Unless the Macross part has more restrictions than the other two, i don't get your statement Rogueload.

Agreed, I think scalpers were out in full force last night. If anyone got an extra, let me know, and we can talk. i prefer to give my money to a macross member, and not to an effin' scalper.

I must be honest, transformation wise i prefer Yamato. On the other hand i always wanted a vermilion squadron in 1/48 scale. Either way i can't go wrong. I have the other Yamatos to play with, and these are all pretty and finished up, to display in whatever pose or mode i want. This is a win / win for me, UNLESS I am unable to pre-order this thing. Are we going to have a clock set for this? Like we did last time? I am actually nervous about this. I NEED VERMILION NOW!

You mean movie 1/48 Max 1A, no? The 1/48 TV Max was not a normal release, and i never saw it myself, back then.

Yamato never did a publicly released a 1/48 Max 1A. Recently i learned they released a few to local japanese stores. I finally get a chance to finish my vermilion squadron in 1/48th scale! Yes i do have the Yammie 1/60 vermilion, but i never took them out of the box.

Hopefully i didn't influence you decision on the chunky monkeys You should have spent that money on Jewelry, hand bags, drugs and alcohol like normal people! I think we are all sort of addicts in this place. Who needs nearly 40 1/48 , and several VF-1 in other scales? We do I got at least 10 VF-1A 1/48 brownies, because they rock! [i am looking at you SH9000] I am very careful about what i get these days. The truth is i can only display so much, and i don't like things to be overly cluttered. My chunkey monkeys are in their boxes for now, since i have no additional display space for now, but I will always keep them because they are genesis to me. Please don't call yourself that. We all share your passion, but if this helps, don't buy things if you don't have the cash for them. It sucks to wait, but it also pays off in some cases.
