What a sexy fighter mode. i wish i could have one, but yesterday I told NY to shup up and take my money! Hmm, I may load Minmei in the Defender and pretend it is Miria... kicking butt in whatever it is she pilots.

Just out of curiosity, I don't think it is necessary to get an HMR TV Hikkie if you already own an HM TV Hikkie, right? Might as well get a HMR Sapartan, and move on. I almost got a HMR CF, but it was double the money i paid for the VT-1. I do have plenty of 1/48 CF, so i guess i can put them far far far away in the background, lol. [when taking pictures]

This must have been an internal joke. Also we know cel animation is challenging and it takes a long time to produce. Drawing all those missiles on the tail, is just an unnecessary waste of time. The drawing itself is pretty poor, and not even colored. look at the poor nose cone, missiles, and the unpainted pilot in the cockpit. BTW i have not ordered any misiles for my DX VF-1 line. Maybe i should grab a few in the future. Edit in: Ha i do have a massive amounts of 1/48 missiles. Maybe i can paint and modify them for the DX version! I think i just saved me a 100 bucks! Thanks @Duymon and others, for the info.

Thanks for the info SH9000. So my VT-1 DYRL Hikaru is too chunky for it. I guess those Big Macross burgers made him a bit chunky. The only problem is my TV Hikaru is a HM and not a HMR, so i think Hikaru, IRRC, is glued to the seat. I got him stored away, but i am pretty sure, the original HM line did not have actual removable pilot figures. I may use a pilot from my VE-1 for a few pics in the HMR Defender. It blows my mind how detailed the HMR line is, and yet so tiny. As @ArchieNov said, Saburo's pic are exceptionally well lit, and crsip. It really makes this line look bigger than it really is. Again, thanks SH9000, I would have never got into this line, if it wasn't for you. Granted, i may not get a Roy, or the rest of the line, but at least i have a good "scale" reference among different mechas in the series. Just to see a Valkyrie next to a Monster is rewarding enough. It really gives you a sense of scale, i Love it.

I had my pre-order for the DX VF-1J with them, and they fulfilled it. I have had nothing but good experiences with Amiami. I hope this helps.

Ditto. [Except for the custom part. I got no customs yet.] I really had a fun time playing with the Vt-1 today. I tried to fit the other HIkaru figure in my H-MR Defender, but the latch wont shut close. Maybe they never intended to have a figure in there in the first place.

71 bucks including shipping, on Ebay from mykombini. I used an Ebay coupon, and i think it is a good price for it. What sold me out is the "1D" similar color scheme, and the Misa and Minmei figures. Also, the iconic moment when MIsa and Hikaru made it to earth in this horse. I bought it back in Mar 21st, and today it made it here.

Thanks guys! I have spent a hundred bucks in far less important things to me in the past. I can cry and make a fuss all day, but that really didn't resolve my problem. Its now done. No more nail biting, and i can focus on other things. I do maintain, bandai should do something about this. Sell it for more, but give us proper supply. Also websites selling 20 per customer are just inviting scalpers. In the end, this is not good for anyone. I had a moment of truth where i almost swore off this whole line. I am sure many have done it before as a result of this tasteless practice of limited supply, and or scalper favoritism. Total shipped was 304.54 usd for JP post airmail, registered, insured, and 1-3 weeks delivery. So as Fry once said: "SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY"

Welp, i broke down, and i ordered from NY. Is it me or it increased about 20 bucks in one night? If i could swear here, you guys know what i would say. I guess that's enough. Well, anyway, 1/48 Vermilion is a go. I hate to pay this over priced thing, but i guess it would be about the same to get the Yammie version, without a Kakizake available. I guess my OCD kicked in this morning.

I am very fortunate to have all the 1/48 variations with all the armors, except for Max TV, and DYRL Kaki. This is the way the universe balances itself. No 1/48 Max TV for me.

i do have a vermilion squad in Yammie 1/60, but the shoulder stories have kept them in their boxes. One day , when i reorganize my shelves, i will set them free. I think Hikkie is the one who has the weak shoulders, but as i read, they are all shoulder challenged. I do have about 9 1/48 CF, and multiple other main characters, but i never got a kakizaki or a max in that scale. Which has always been my fav scale for a VF-1 valkyrie.

Yeap, i was that desperate. I also used all the links you kindly provided, thanks! I may have to hunt down a 1/48 Yammie Max TV, and paint one of my 1/48 CF into a Kakizake. My vermilion dream has once more, disintegrated... You know what, much respect to Yamato for keeping a proper supply of Valkyries.

I had HLJ, Amiami, NY, CDj, Nin nin, AmazonJp, and even Mandrake open, 2 to 3 hours from the exact moment the pre-order started. This might explain some of my frustrations...
