    Another Jenius review! I wish i got Nexx's version, TBH. I love how you can store the gun on the leg armor. It bothers me Sylvie's version did not come with that feature I can't recall if it was like this in the animation or not. I do agree, there is not enough love for the Macross II basterd children. On the other hand, sometimes i want to display Sylvie's separately, since the VF-2SS looks nothing like it's VF-1 cousins.

    My lil' wrx is about to be 10 years old! I think i am passed the point of selling it. I might just keep it at this point. It still does everything I need it to do very willingly. It is tuned to me, so i feel a very personal connection with it. You have a nice beast Spanner. I love the stormtrooper look! I hope you are feeling better now Spanner.

    I might get get an F14, F15, F18 or an SU27, not sure at this point. I don't know, maybe instead I'll get another brownie, or even a 1S to finish up the formation. Who knows,but at this point I am going to lay low and relax for a few months. What i really want is a nice 1/60 V2 brownie, or even a 1S. I am still in love with the VF-1 design. I know most people seem to be tried of it, but to me it is the very best! Maybe not growing up with a proper Vf-1 messed my head up for good. [no offense to Macross Frontier and Delta valks, as they have gorgeous fighter mode]

    New clear tamashii act mechanics stands I liked the smoked ones, but clear is the best way to go.

    So this happened... Before... After... I think it cleans it up really well. Plus it allows me to use more of the vertical space in my detolf. I used double extensions on Miria and the VF-2SS, and while it considerable increases their height, it sort of feels kind of wobbly. In any case, for the price, I think clear stands are great, affordable and clean looking. https://www.bigbadtoystore.com/Product/VariationDetails/87713 10 bucks per pair @ BBTS. I think all clear is better. I'll keep Max & Miria's colored stands for individual displaying. I wonder if i should keep the smoked ones or not. WOW @spanner, that's an awesome set up. One of these days, I'll take a pic of a racing set up I built with a friend some years ago. It's nothing compared to yours, but it works!

    They do look fantastic in every mode. I guess secretly, I was waiting for the ultimate, friendly to transform chunky monkey 2.0./ Hi-Metal R evolution. Or something that would closely resemble Kawamori's line art. Like the "proper" leg transfer mechanism. Anyway, i don't mean to What we got is what we got, and other than scalpers adding hundreds to the price, I guess these releases are somewhat within our reach.

    I treat this thing as if it was House of cards. I guess @Slave IV is right, and there is some variance in its run. It's wings are slightly out of level when you fold them back too. I am really bummed out i didn't get the Hikkie 1S. I do have him twice in Yammie 1/48 form though. In any case, i am just wating for Max, and hoping they do Kakie and Roy.

    Looking at it from the bright side, i have only transformed my DX 1J once. Everything else i transform regularly, which is a few times a year. At least it will increase its durability since we transform them so little. BTW when is the 1A max coming out? NY made me pay immediately, and I know its been a while.

    Honestly, i would have preferred a solid non splitting spine bar [swing bar]. It kind of keeps me away. It does look super nice, though.

    As tempting as that sounds, I still haven't made my mind up. Luke was my greatest hero growing up, other than Superman, I guess. I really want to find a good example, at some point. See that's the trick, Mark Hamill's face is hard to capture. So i am waiting for the one that best resembles him.
