    i have to agree with this. I have tried several automatic transmissions and only one came close to a decent experience. My ex GF had an Infinity G37, and that automatic held gears, downshifted when slowing down, and it seems to almost know what gear was next, but it did hunt or hesitated around a bit. I agree, it is not the same or as satisfying of an experience. I guess involvement, is a big part of it.

    I was expecting it to be 1/100 for some reason, but it seems slightly bigger than that. What i love is you can clearly see spike's head and hands from that close up frontal pic. It is an oddie in my collection, and I don't even know where to put it. One thing is certain, I really like it. The sad part is that i got it on sale, which may mean Bandai wont release Fay's Redtail. We will see what happens. I gave up on wishing for a proper Ghost X-9, but i agree, I'd look lovely in that color.

    OH man thanks for the info Jenius. I have wacthed your videos, and now some of it came back to me. Every so often i go to your videos for reference, but I was tired, and forgot, sorrry. I should have gone back and re-watch them. @Shizuka the Cat for the link!

    Yeah it was fun. Back then i sold my place, moved. You can imagine what it feels to dust and pack-up years of Macross, StarWars, and Transformers goodness. That and we got super busy at work, so time was scarce. Thanks for the compliment! I'll give it another shot, but please be patient with me! We all have so much to do, and sometimes we have little time for our hobbies.

    So what is this thing, 1/72? Spike looks too small for 1/60 but too big for HMR. 1/72 maybe? I was going to take a dremel tool to it and then weather it, but oh man, it is a vary nice glossy red. I don't have the heart to weather it... yet.

    So the main changes between HM and HMR are the neck and the shoulders now being metal hinges? Was there a floppiness problem with the original HM line, or was it only Hikie's 1J? I am very tempted to get Roy's HM, but I wonder if i will regret it.

    Just remember to place the camera bellow the waist line. Most shots in the animation were from "street" level to convey the sensation of size.

    This is what is driving me away from the MP line. Yes i want the bots to look roughly similar to the animation, but with all the yummy details a robot would have in real life, if they existed. I am not getting MP-44, i can't justify that price, plus I am not a fan of the white legs or its transformation. The only reason the legs/crutch were white in the cartoon, was because it would have been too difficult to animate chrome. We all know 2D animation was and is very difficult to produce, and it had to be oversimplified to be able to meet deadlines.. At this point, i am not sure i'll buy Hound and the new Bumblebee, is out of the question. I have Sunstreaker but honestly, he is a pain in the scrotum to transform, and it kills the fun out of it IMHO. So i have two options, just quit the line altogether, or sell what i already got. Hasbro really let me down on this. This was such a fun line with their detailed car modes, and cool looking robots, but now it is turning into a super complicated, but badly detailed transformer. TBH MP-44's transformation does not atract me at all. I'll keep my MP-10,MP-01 and the MPP-10 as "IT" for Optimus. Maybe i'll go third party to finish off the ones i am missing, but honestly I've lost my drive for this line.

    This would have been cool to see in the show. Max grabbing a gun from a fallen soldier, and see him slinging them around the battlefield! I still wonder why the HMR and the 1/60 V2 have the UN SPACY upside down.

    Ugh, don't do this to me. I am trying to be very selective with my star wars collection.... Only canon characters from the OT for me at this time.... but... but... but....it's a Mandalorian. I'll put this one on the back burner, a week or so, see how i feel about it. What do we think about Poe's new Xwing? The other one, the ANH xwing looks like it has that floppy wing syndrome.
