My Gamestop dude said that every store in our area only got two to sell. No plans on restocking. It's basically a 80gb PS3 with Dualshock 3 controller and a free copy of MGS4.

Someone told me that the hint book had a synopsis of the entire MGS story in it. Can someone verify this? Maybe I'll hit up gamestop for one of their perused copies.

I don't remember who I sold it to, I also had Kurt do a Max-1A TV custom, which was sold as well. I might do the Max 1S with the 1/60 versions when they come out since I did it with the original 1/60s as well

argh! you guys suck! I'm stuck at school that week and won't pick up my PS3/MGS4 bundle until I get back the 13th!!!!!!!!! Then I have to work two days, but I'll be off three after that, so it'll be all MGS4 for three days. Someone let me know how the headset feels, I didn't like any of my Motorola H500/H800/H900 headsets, I'm currently using a Jabra BT5020 with my phone and I'll probably use it with the PS3 as well, no wait, I still need it for phone calls, I'll use my spare BT5020 as my PS3 dedicated headset.

in an all out brawl, training matters very little, it's about who can fight the fastest and dirtiest to take the other one out. IMO, it's all in the mind, who wants to win more? I fight dirty because I'm going home at the end of my shift. My DT Instructors have martial arts backgrounds, one mainly does Krav Maga, the other does Isshin Ryu, both are over 6' and more fit than I am; I have no martial arts background whatsoever, but everytime we do DT classes, I take them out quick and dirty. I don't give them time to do any of their martial arts stuff or even their DT stuff, I go in fast, strike hard, take them down, choke'em out. No sweat. It's nice when they put on the redman suits, I don't have to hold back. I once took out a naked 6'10, 260# marine in a few seconds. Some moron (my partner) threw him at me causing us to fall down, all I could see was his chest, so one hand went down, the other went up, and i choked him in more ways than one. thankfully I had gloves on. They teach us to do LVNR on people, but I've never had any luck with it, it takes too long, choking is easiest and quickest, and if you don't want me to choke you out, then don't resist. Our new trainee has a black belt in something, but first time we did DT, I took her out quick and never gave her a chance to get back up. During our cell extraction training, they kept telling me, NO CHOKING, NO KICKS TO THE HEAD, AND ABOVE ALL, NO CHOKING. Prisoners have rights too even if they are rioting, I said whatever. Then first chance I got when we had a mini-riot, I kicked one right in the head and choked another one out. End of story. End of riot. No long drawn out fights. If only we had tasers... Most people in the area who know our department won't fight with us, our rep is all pursuits end in our city (if we have to crack up a few police cars, why not, we need new ones anyway), and don't f**k with the guys on second shift or you'll end up in the hospital. It's all in how you write the report, i.e. Resistant male was directed to hood of my vehicle for his safety and handcuffed (what really happened: grab a**h*le and smash him into the hood to knock the fight out of him, then cuff him). back on topic, Chan v. Li I say DRAW! I believe some training helps, basically, how to breathe during a fight, how to keep your balance, etc, but that should all be second nature because you can't think about it or you'll lose the fight.

well I was going to sell it for $30 shipped, but for $5, you're better off getting it locally, it'll be faster.

3+ year bump... well, it's on SciFi now in english, guess I'll watch the last half hour and debate whether or not to get an english dub. I've been happy with my subtitled version.

anyone know if the cooler versions will make it into the US release of the MGS4 PS3? I'd rather wait and get a cooler PS3, but only if it's like a month or two, if not, I'll get just the PS3 when MGS4 comes out. Lost Planet is ok, I have it on PC (got it at Target for $4.98 closeout). I just don't like playing it on the PC because you have to be hooked up to the internet to play.

yes, Halo 3 day! I need to start playing again, I haven't played in awhile, last time I tried, I kept getting COD4 controls mixed up with H3. But I just bought a points card so I can d/l the new maps.

haha, you should've called this the Halo Edition thread (not) I'm about done with COD4, so I'll pick up some points Friday at Gamestop and d/l the new H3 maps and start playing that again. I only need like 2000 more points to prestige again, so after I get that, I'll head back to Halo 3.

I've got an MGO code that I won't use, so, first person to read this and use it gets it CA2C-NHBA-REJE have fun post if you use it so other people won't be trying all day

I'm still doing COD4, I've prestiged once and will hit 55 and stay there instead of prestigeing again. I'll go back to Halo 3 once I hit 55. When are the Halo 3 maps coming out? I've mainly been doing Crisis Core on the PSP though. I'm tempted to buy Rainbow 6, but I still haven't gone back to Mass Effect, haven't touched Assassin's Creed nor Ace Combat 6... Then MGS4 on PS3 comes out in June....It'll be 360 less for me until Gears2 comes out.

well, I don't mind the 40, I still have my PS2 and PS1 if I want to venture back into those ancient RPGs or play some IQ/IQ Final. Gamestop wasn't taking preorders for the systems yet, but they did give me the bonus DVD that you would get from preordering the game or LE version of the game. But I didn't want to preorder either since hopefully, my system will come with the game.

thanks for the pics! Why can't the US bundle version be that color too? I'm going to hit GS tomorrow and see if they'll give me the DVD for preordering the system bundle instead of the LE. Then again, they weren't taking preorders for the system yet.
