how do you like the XD? Does that grip safety work the same way as a standard 1911? Here's something I've noticed: I had so many scratches and gouges on my HK slide from hitting the ground, hitting doors, people's heads, etc. I decided to get it refinished. Also the extractor was turning purple. The gun was made in 1999. My Glock 19 was made in 1998. Both have seen abuse. But the tenifer finish on the Glock is IMHO, better than the HE finish on my HK. I was starting to get some rust spots on my HK. No differences in carry. I used to carry either in an IWB holster under my t-shirt, so I guess when I was sweating, the gun was getting coated. But no rust on my Glock. So hopefully, the new coatings will prevent any more rust. Now, I wear two shirts, one against my skin, then gun, then cover shirt. That should help a little bit.

Yes, I agree, they should've made them bigger (I too have a massive head, I can never get shooting glasses that fit). I was working a side job at Harley one night and I was trying on helmets, and even those helmets were too small. And they only cost a few hundred, not over $1000! Yamato should've mass marketed these at $200 or so in different sizes. I would've bought a bunch!

ok, well, I'm still undecided on whether to get a rifle or the new HK Subcompact. but I just got my slides back from Cummings Custom Refinishing, and I think they look pretty neat. Hopefully, I am the first/only guy with a stainless colored HK USP Compact in .357 SIG.

ok, I'm sold. I'm going to get it and just leave it in fighter mode. Ok, Yamato, make a 1/48 Perfect Transformation next. I'd even settle for a 1/60!! Hint!

15/18! woohoo, time to break out my Atari 800XL and Commodore 64 and try playing these old games again. Hope the new tvs can handle the signal. -
just found it: There are no longer any marking requirements for semiautomatic assault weapons and large capacity ammunition feeding devices. Existing markings on firearms and magazines relating to law enforcement or government use may be disregarded. Towards the End ATF Main Site

i said i wasn't going to do it, but i already preordered my red one at VE. I am just going to get one of each just to be complete.
-
COOL. does this mean that I can disregard all my mags marked LAW ENFORCEMENT ONLY and can consider them normal capacity magazines now? now how would this work if i wanted to sell one of my guns, when I bought these mags, I had to fill out paperwork stating that the hi-capacity ammunition feeding devices (yes, that is how I had to word my letters) would not be resold and will be used for duty-related use. I didn't buy the guns with a letter, just the mags.

ok, thanks, that's what i needed to know, i really don't need to buy any full-auto weapons for myself (can't really see the need), I've got the G36 and UMP from work that I don't own, so if I want to play, I can play at work. I just thought it would be fun to have one of my own, but then, I rarely have time to go plinking anymore. if i ever do feel the urge, i'll call ya I usually sleep with my HK USP Compact or my Glock 19, it's in a nightstand next to the bed, I figured, by the time someone could break in and make their way upstairs, I should be awake enough by then (plenty of booby traps along the way, my little girl likes to leaves toys all over the place, and if my cats don't recognize you, they start to attack). Right now, I am sleeping with my Benelli M1 Super 90 as the HK and Glock are out of service getting the slides refinished.

ok, i haven't really been following the awb and all it's specifics (didn't really need to buy much these past years except for hi-caps and i had no problems getting those), but what exactly can I buy now that was restricted before? i.e. 1) can i buy fully-automactic weapons? (i.e. the bushmaster i posted earlier) 2) silencers? 3) parts to make guns fully automatic (eg. FSSG mod for Glock, or my partner's got an old Uzi he wants to convert eventually)? during the ban, the only thing i was allowed to get was the silencer, but i didn't feel like forking over all those fees (and it was hard to conceal a full-size HK with a silencer as a back-up weapon ) The only thing I knew that the Clinton Ban did to me was make me get letters to get hi-cap mags.

oh God, no. Is Colin MacLeod the same one from the first animated series? i don't remember the first series much, watched one episode, said, blah, and quit.

ok, here's something i was looking at to purchase next week, is this a good thing to spend my money on or not? I can't afford it now, but hey, that's what credit cards are for. I'm still trying to pay for my bathroom. But I told myself I am buying a gun this fall and I am going to get one. I was looking to get the HK P2000SK, but they don't make it in .357 SIG yet, so hey, It's either this or another katana (the katana being more expensive so maybe not). I have to check, but I think the neighboring pd to my job has these with 3-rd burst. ----except---- I am taking pre-orders for LE Version Bushmaster Rifles. These rifle are currently restricted to Law Enforcement Personnel, but after the AWB expires they will be available to the general public. $875.00 shipped to Cont. US. The Bushmaster XM15 E2S M4A2 Type Carbine combines light weight with plenty of .223 caliber firepower. Its chrome lined barrel - designed to mount the M203 Grenade Launcher - offers maximum longevity and accuracy. A telescoping buttstock brings light weight, ease of carrying and quick handling. Mounted on the upper receiver is the latest A2 dual flip-up rear peep sight which is adjustable for both windage and elevation. Forged, lightweight 7075T6 aircraft quality aluminum receivers are designed for simplicity of maintenance and reliability of operation and they incorporate all M16A2 design improvements including cartridge case deflector, last round bolt hold-open and raised ridges for magazine release button protection. Depending upon customer preference, the M4 Carbine is available in either safe/semi-auto/full-auto or safe/semi-auto/three-shot burst configurations. A mil. spec. manganese phosphate outer coating insures complete protection against corrosion or rust on the barrel and all other critical steel parts of the weapon. The M4A3 Type (shown below) has the “flat-top” style Upper Receiver with an integral Picatinny rail to offer a variety of sight, scope or night vision mounting options. A 1/2 M.o.A. M16A2 rear sight is incorporated into the Removeable Carrying Handle. Knurled thumbnuts allow on and off mounting of the handle with instant repeat zero. The XM15 E2S M4 14.5" Bbl. Carbine is shipped complete with 30 round magazine, carrying sling and Operator's Safety and Instructional Manual, all in a hard plastic shipping case. This sale is dependant on the AWB expiring. If the AWB does not expire, your money will be returned. As soon as payment is made, the gun will be shipped to us and stored until the AWB expires in September. The weapon will be shipped to your FFL the day the AWB expires. We accept Mastercard, Visa, Money Orders, Cashiers Checks and personnal checks. Personnal checks must clear before the weapon will be shipped. Credit Card purchases will be charged an additional 3% to cover our fees. This is the version that I have for sell. ? i remember having a super hard time removing sidesearch from my sister's computer, i could never figure out where she kept picking it up, but here's a few sites that says what a pita lycos is. i think it's a harmful thing because everytime i would uninstall it and delete it, it would automatically install itself the next time i connected her computer to the internet, that's imo a bad thing. i want something gone and it keeps installing itself. How To Remove Lycos Sidesearch another site that sidesearch and cool web search are the most pita's i've seen, i think they got it from a screensaver. not 100% sure though.

haven't had a virus or worm or nothing in a long time i'm using win xp home, just updated to sp2. i have zonealarm free firewall vcom systemsuite (i just use this for the virus checker) and about once a week, i run, adaware, spybot, and cws-shredder and they find nothing. i used to use Tracks Eraser Pro everytime I finished surfing, but haven't bothered since i don't use IE or Netscape anymore. I've been using Mozilla Firefox as well, and I am not going back. we've got norton at work, and every single day, somehow, we've got viruses popping up like crazy. don't know from where, we're not allowed to stick any disks in (be it floppy or cd), no flash drives, nothing. but somehow, our network keeps getting bogged down with viruses and spyware and we keep getting blamed. ummm..we don't have internet access, you blocked us, it's the DB doing all the surfing, not us. get it right.

i'd rather have the credit card. how about, CLEAR colored Limited Edition VF-1A! waitaminute, have the outside clear, but paint the insides. i'd still rather have a production VF-1A Max-TV version. Yamato, are you listening??????

you're more than likely right. Especially as seeing how these are the only new Mospeada toys in town, they will probably be sold out. I just can't believe the prices the original MPCs are going for. Outrageous. Since I've the completist bug, I already preordered Rook over at VE. Anyone willing to sell their Alpha box? before phatslappy beats me to it?

haha, back when Toynami first annouced the notice about 1-3000 being variants, we were all joking, "Oh yeah, we found some problems, but we're just start fixing it now and call the first 3000 special variants." instead of scraping the whole batch and starting over. It should be, you have bought xxxx of 3000 problematic MPCs. Now, we have the next series, the xxxx of 15000 MPCs with less problems. I finally tried to transform mine (#2579) and the arms are loose and the left wing is loose. So I gave up, put it back in fighter and stuck it on a stand. in the back of the display case behind the 1/48s, the 1/55s, the 1/60s, the 1/72s, you get the idea

yes, he'd still have to pay his listing fees and his final cost fee. But like you said, it's not much to him if he can find a buyer next time to go higher.
-
well, seems like he won his own auction again, it'll probably resurface in a month or so. Macross Vintage Takatoku Super VF 1S
