hey that's a good idea! but i think i will wait a few months for it before i buy. it might come out better on xbox in a few months, so when I get the Xbox for Xmas for my son, i'll see what happens. . i've still got alot of PS2 games to finish (not to mention I finally broke down and bought Ace Combat 5).

ack, other than the story, I liked MGS2. still not used to skateboarding in substance yet. my wife actually made me stop letting my son play (he would just snipe at people's legs and after they fell, he would shoot them in the arms or head, or he would go pigeon hunting for hours, etc. etc.) so now all he can do is play skateboarding.

i own all three scales, the 1/48s and 1/60s and 1/55 Toynamis all sit in different modes and are posed and changed from time to time, the Bandai 1/55s are the ones I grab up and start playing with. they are the only ones I let my kids touch as well, these things are built like bricks! if someone breaks in my house and i can't get to a gun, i'm gonna beat them with a chunky monkey!

i saw one at a show, for that amount of money, i expected alot more detail. but that thing is plain bare.

heh heh, i used to have a Casio watch that was a tv/vcr remote. i had so much fun with that thing, it broke in a fight, and the judge wouldn't make the perp pay for a new watch, told me i shouldn't be wearing fancy watches at work, so i started wearing an old 19.99 Casio watch, and it's all scratched up, but it won't break. go figure. wonder if this guy with tv-b-gone will get stinking rich like the telezapper dude.

going to do that later today (after some drywall spackling...), didn't get to finish the bridge thing, I'll try that again. I was bleeding yesterday and the guards did track me and started shooting me in the grass even though I thought I was hidden. Haven't tried it with animals yet. I did drown in the mud around the gators. whoopsie. as I goof around more and more, I think I will pick this up when it comes out.

heh heh, didn't want to bump up that thread from page 97.... I played Splinter Cell awhile ago, I liked it, I think I preferred the aiming from MGS2. Also, it was easier for me to move around in MGS2. Probably because that is what I played first and had to adapt to Splinter Cell. I don't think I ever used Sam's move where he's doing a split above someone. Going through the MGS3 demo again, just looking for different things to do. Trying to cut all the ropes on the bridge now while all the guys are tranq'ed... wonder what'll happen.

ok, just finished the demo (and the drywall), so far, it's more of MGS2. I'll wait for the price to come down before I pick this one up. Can't stomach paying full price for new games anymore. Got two kids, a wife, some cats, some rabbits, and a Macross, gun, sword habit to support.

ok, on the RT demo, I can't really get into it, I mean, I'm throwing grenades at the Invid, (never saw that in the cartoon), aiming is not intuitive enough for me (I grew up on PC FPSs, just finished Halo and the Medal of Honor series on my PC). Maybe on the full version, I can adjust the aiming. Right now, I'm just running around in circles trying to bring down some Invid, I crash alot into obstacles when I'm riding around, I can't fly up a hill for crying out loud, I'm in a cyclone, where's my limited flight? Unless I'm hitting the wrong button. I can just run around in circles strafing at the Invid and watch parts fall off and then move on to the next one. I really hate seeing those Alphas fly overhead and I can't be in one. I'm going to have to try and give this one another chance later...I'll try and borrow someones. Graphics-wise, looks better than Battlecry, but not better than Macross by Sega/AM2. I wish someone state-side would license that and translate it for us. I didn't really get into GTA series too much, got GTA:VC cheap, never finished it, got to the point where Lance was going to betray me and lost interest. Hmmm..how much havoc can I cause before the po-po comes looking for me, now let's see how many I can take out before I get killed (and me being a cop too, , I just imagine all the cops are the adminstration ), that's about what that game turned into for me. Well, back to MGS3 demo, I just got killed again by an alligator, guess I should just leave it alone, but man, I want an alligator hat. I'll try tossing a grenade at it next time. It's more MGS2 here, I'm still trying to get used to the controls again (been awhile since I played MGS2). But so far, I haven't run into any BGs yet, just animals. Right now, to me, it's basically MGS2 over again with more features. Gotta go find some mushrooms now. I hope the plot isn't as convoluted as MGS2 was. --- argh! the demo disc sucks! it resets after a minute if I don't do anything, well, I'm trying to stay still while a guard is nearby and the stupid thing resets on me. i tried it again with moving the camera and it still resets. sheesh. i'll try equipping and unequipping a weapon or something whenever i get back to it, game time is over, gotta go put some drywall up in the bathroom.

playing the demo now, anyone having long load times when trying to access the codec? btw, robotech invasion demo sucks, don't think i will get the full game, even at $20.

Freecell. That's all I can play at work! They won't let me load games onto the computers! can you imagine 6 of us playing Halo on a city-wide network all over town????! no traffic tickets that night I have to bring my own notebook in to play games...on those quiet nights... and Tetris! on a VAX system! Homeworld 1 Rules! especially with the Macross mods! Waiting for the homeworld 2 mods. Anyone play Intelligent Qube 1 and 2?

FYI, these are more than likely, bootlegs. Quality varies. My brother bought me Angel seasons 1-4 Asian release, everything's in english, cover art has some chinese characters.., whatever, they're bootlegs. So far, I am into season 2, season one had disc 8 go bad, i had to rip it 4 times before i got it to rip right and reburned it onto a good dvd. season 2, so far disc 2 has one episode that will not finish. popped in disc 4, it's the austrailian release??? whatever. also it's mix and match on what is fullscreen and widescreen. sheesh. but hey, for $40, he didn't do too bad. But I will be buying the R1 release of Season 5. I'm sure the B5 sets are from the same source of bootleggers. I'm interested in B5 as well, all my VHS tapes are going bad... not to mention my Highlander tapes...

I haven't heard many people liking FN's round, so I don't know if anyone is going to like HK's new round either. I almost plunked down $$$ for an FN FiveseveN, but decided my money would be better spent on the HK P2000SK since I already have mags and ammo for it. I can't really think of any reason I would need the FiveseveN. Don't know many BGs that wear body armor, besides, we train two to the chest, one to the head anyways, got away from training my guys, two to the chest, wait and see, then one to the head, it's just three rounds at the getgo, they've already given you a reason to shoot, and I think any decent handgun cartridge will put the BG down. We have UMPs in .40 as our entry weapons with the Benelli M1 Super 90s as well. For rifles, we use the HK G36. calibers that have been around awhile and have at least proven themselves.

thanks for the info on the XD. I keep hearing positives and negatives on it, but my next purchase is an HK P2000SK in .357. hopefully. if it ever comes out. SLING IT MAN! Nothing like having a gun with a sling. trying to figure out how have both the M16 and Benelli slung when going on a call.... What is the UCP?
