i agree, release a better one than the old 1/72s, and I'll buy 2 as well. up it to at least a 1/60 so it's in scale with the Q-raus. or just do it right and do it in 1/48 and i'll definitely buy 3, one for each mode! i've been waiting for this thing forever! and a 1/48 Max TV VF-1A!!! (yes, I will keep harping on that until Yamato gives me a dang repaint! that's all it is!!!!!!!!)

that's what i was thinking. i've been trying to find pics. , just kinda strange for a user that has been registered forever but has done nothing and is all of a sudden selling stuff.

yeah, i've been watching that, i already asked if the seller was willing to use an escrow service, we'll see if there is a reply.

here's the article atf on fn fiveseven here's a quick copy The FN 5.7 (Fabrique Nationale) pistol is a semiautomatic pistol in 5.7 X 28 mm caliber approved for importation as a sporting firearm. The classification of all ammunition is governed strictly by the definitions presented in the GCA. Specifically, as defined in 18 U.S.C. Section 921(a)(17)(B), the term "armor piercing ammunition" means- a projectile or projectile core which may be used in a handgun and which is constructed entirely (excluding the presence of traces of other substances) from one or a combination of tungsten alloys, steel, iron, brass, bronze, beryllium copper, or depleted uranium; or a full jacketed projectile larger than .22 caliber designed and intended for use in a handgun and whose jacket has a weight of more than 25 percent of the total weight of the projectile. FTB has also examined a 5.7 X 28 mm projectile that FN Herstal has designated the "SS196." The SS196 is loaded with a Hornady 40 grain, jacketed lead bullet. FTB classified SS196 ammunition as not armor piercing ammunition under Federal firearms statutes. According to FNH USA, FN Herstal tested the SS192 ammunition. SS192 ammunition did not penetrate the Level IIIA vests that were tested. FNH USA states that SS196, Hornady V-Max 40 gr. bullets fired from a 4-3/4 inch barrel did not penetrate the Level II vests that were used in testing. FNH USA has informed FTB that SS192 is no longer imported for commercial sale to the United States and that commercial sales of 5.7 X 28mm ammunition are restricted to the SS196 (not armor piercing). FN Herstal 5.7 X 28mm Ammunition SS190 - Armor piercing (AP) SS191 - AP Tracer SS192 - Hollow Point (not AP) SB193 - AP Subsonic SS195 - "Green" - lead free hollow point projectile with copper jacket (not AP) SS196 - Sporting round (Hornady 40 gr. V-max, hollow point lead), (not AP) 10700004 Blank (not classified as ammunition under Federal law) 10700005 Dummy

there's different types of ammo for the P90. not sure of the numbers, but i think the civvie version of the P90 and FiveseveN will have SS196 ammo available which is not AP. I think the AP SS190 ammo is still controlled. the bradys are trying to ban this now, but i think someone at the atf showed them they were full of crap. brady crap on 57 Not really sure, I will have to check. I was giving serious looks at it since HK will not sell it's longguns to civvies and to do a LE buy, I'd have to go through my dept. and they will not do it for me. even for a semi-auto version.... well, still can't find the article, but here is a list of ammo: SS190 (AP) Standard Ball, 31 gr. I agree, get a Roy 1S or Hikaru 1J from Yamato while you can. I wish Yamato would just give me a stinking repaint! I want a Max TV-VF-1A version! I'd buy one or two. (Godzilla would buy 5-10 ) Also, the Toynami's come in nice boxes, but I just looked at mine and am noticing that the boxes are sorta coming apart, like the glue on the ends have stopped working and the edges are starting to warp. i noticed these on all my macross saga ones except for the archer, probably cuz it's newer, but all these things do is sit in my room on top of a shelf out of sunlight. i wonder if cold temps are doing this?
-
ditto! they look very nice. but seeing as how some of their other prototypes looked ok, i'll wait for someone to get one first and review it. my luck, i'll get a Voltron where all the legs won't retract right or something.
-
usually i just tossed a grenade up to where the end is sitting and get him that way. my brother saved in the middle of the fight and didn't come back for over a week and when he reloaded, the end looked like he died of starvation or something. is that one of the quirks that they put in?
-
i figured they were bootlegs, i did have a winning bid on one of that seller's macross dvds, it was 9.99 starting bid and i almost won, but she canceled the auction with minutes to go and told me she the set was damaged and that she would not be able to get it for me, then she promptly relists it with a $19.99 starting price. whatever, i didn't mind paying the $10 + shipping to see how it compares with my animego set. but not $20+ she's on my list of boycotts now she's got it with M0 new crap
-
hey, i just finished this last night too, and i have to say after playing the whole thing, i do like this, this would be my favorite over the others. still weird political stuff, but, hey, that's hideo.
-
wow, look what a reissue did, these were going for $150 a few months ago! MPC Armor #1
-
here is the one i have, made in singapore. i think the chest, shoulders and belt are supposed to be different? or is that yellowing?
-
Wow! Talk about shill bidding at it's finest! Wouldn't be surprised if this pops back up relisted! Top bidder account was created on the 5th, has only bid on this one auction. other two zero feedback users were created on the 4th, both from mexico?? both have only bid on this auction except for one which is bidding on another vf-1s.
-
got sticky, and fuky, just need the last two whenever they come out.
-
i'm still waiting for Yamato to release a VF-1A Max-TV version. common Yamato, it's just a repaint!!!! PLEASE!!!
-
that's just one way of getting around Ebay's excessive fees. you get billed a percentage of your final value fee. There is no percentage on the shipping fees. That's why it's listed for such a low price, you end up paying for the whole thing anyways. But ebay sees it as a few bucks and only hits you (the seller) for a few cents. I've done this in the past when someone here wanted an online record of the transaction through EBAY. I just listed the item with BUY IT NOW for $1 and the total cost of the item is put into the shipping costs. I've also done it where I put in the auction, only BIDS from certain user name accepted just in case someone sees it before the intended buyer and tries buying it, i can say they didn't follow the rules listed so i don't have to honor it, blah, blah, blah.
-
maybe i'll watch it, i still have to go look at the dvds my brother gave me of the original show. old thread was here but not much talked about it. gotta get ready for the big day, after working night shift, we're going to watch EP. 1 and 2, go to the theater, watch EP. 3, then go back and watch the special editions of EP, 4,5,6. then go back to work. haha

nothing about it being released at RT.com either. well, today's the last day of the year, maybe it will be announced soon. Anyone want to sell me their bookcase box for $40 shipped in US???? Figured I offer about half.
-
I've seen these go for between $40-$80 depending on condition. I wouldn't pay $80 for it, they just look fugly to me.
