my online id: Sarge051 I was going to make it Chowser, but since my Xbox Live id is SARGE051, I decided to keep my PS3 name the same. I was just at GS today picking up Zelda for my Wii and the guy said that Sony is planning on releasing a PS3 with a DVD-ROM drive instead of blu-ray at a lower cost point. Don't know if there's any truth, but the guy hasn't been wrong yet. the guy just got back from another big meeting with the GS/EB group. He was the one that told me when they were getting the PS3, and what day to come preorder it, etc. I'm wondering if this is Sony's answer to 360 v.2

two came in to my regular gamestop today, employee bought one, and my buddy bought the other one for me since i took today off work. he just beat some lady by two minutes. i'll get it from him at work tomorrow. now, what is the definitive game out right now that i should get for it?

I hate to say it, I found MW by way of RT.com. I'm searching the net because I saw an ad for Toynami's Masterpiece. I preordered through Valkyrie-Exchange, and through Valkyrie-Exchange, I found MW. So I guess I've been here since a year before the first MP of crap came out.

My guess it's overheating itself in it's display unit. That happens to a bunch of PCs we have at work. My 360 gets really hot. I have it behind a glass door, but when we use it, we have to leave the door open for ventilation. I still haven't opened up my second PS3 yet. I will probably set it up somewhere not behind a door. There is just no game out I want to play, so I haven't opened it. I'm still playing GoW, H2, Dead Rising on the 360 and FF12 on the PS2. I guess I could play FF12 on the PS3, but that requires I either start over, or fork some money over to buy a transfer thing to transfer my memory card saves over. then again, I was playing Mechwarrior on my PC today instead of the PS2 or 360.

I've been watching Cloud and Sephiroth swords on various sites. If anyone can handle Cloud's sword, let me know how the weight/balance thing is. See if it's a full tang. I wanted to buy my son Cloud's sword for Xmas, but I was unsure about the quality and how it would hang on the wall. I ended up buying him his own 360, but I might still get him the sword for his b-day if it's sturdy enough to mount on a wall. Then again, maybe I'll just save up and order him a real katana for when he graduates high school.

after reading bad reviews of Gundam, I haven't bothered with the PS3. Got one on launch day, sold it, then picked up another one, and it's still sitting in the closet unopened. I was looking at RFOM, but I still haven't finished Gears of War on the 360 yet. I bought an LCD HD TV, so now I can play Dead Rising like it was meant to be played I will probably hook up the PS3 on Xmas. I just bought some HDMI cables. It was cheaper to get 3 of them, even though I only need one. Guess I will find more uses later on. There is no launch PS3 game that is wowing me at the moment.

Isn't Transformers the Movie coming out on this day too? I'm still undecided on watching that or this. Maybe I'll just go to work for some OT.

Someone over at FX-Sabers just did a video of an Ultra converted Luke with his new fiber optic blade vs. a stock MR blade. And towards the end of the video, he is swinging the luxeon and a stock Anakin ROTS.

If you aren't going to duel with them, don't bother converting them. The only reason I converted all of mine was for dueling.

can't find any comparison pics between Anakin sabers, but here's someone's Obi Wan Ultra next to stock MR Obi Wan the Luxeon is to the left. Stock is on the right. I don't have any stock sabers left, all mine have been converted. I just sent my Obi-Wan ROTS off to be converted. I've got an Anakin saber apart right now that I am changing over.

Hopefully, someone will do a CE line. I guess I will have to be happy with my Larbel Obi-Wan until MR releases the FX Obi-Wan TPM/AOTC.

This news does suck. I was hoping they would do an Obi Wan TPM/AOTC CE line. I've been trying to sell my Obi-Wan TPM Elite Edition to fund other stuff, but no one seems to want to buy that either. ---- In 2006, Master Replicas launched a new category of MR product, called Collectors Edition prop replicas. Despite our best efforts to highlight the various differences in CEs and LEs, consumers – as a whole – did not warm up to the concept. wow, guess the resupply is going well, i was at Gamestop today buying a game and they had 2 PS3 60gigers go out the door. Everyone wants a Wii and not a PS3, they' had 6 in stock since Thursday.

it sucks, i have alot of their Robotech line and it sucks, even the Macross II RPG, I never even bothered to finish looking through it.

halo3 site seems to be ok now, i just finished registering.

My son and I had Xbox Live accounts when we had our Xbox. When we switched to the 360, we were automatically upgraded to GOLD. He can still use the original Xbox to play Halo 2 MM online while I am playing on the 360 (I get dibs on the 360 first because I can beat him down). You just can't use the same account at the same time, whoever logs in 2nd, knocks the 1st person off.

Gears of War rocks! look for me online Sarge051 and I'm only playing on a 27" CRT. and Dead Rising sucks on this TV. I should really buy a bigger TV and HD also. oh well, Macross toys come first.
