a week, wow, does anyone know how long before it starts showing up in the US? And did Torchwood ever make it into the US or do I have to try searching on BBCA?

yeah, i'll probably get rid of my PS3 to get the newer Xbox when it comes out. I have nothing for it except for NFSC. The only thing I'm missing from PS3 would be FF13, but since I still haven't gotten back to FF12 after 4 months, I"m not that concerned.

DITTO, I have more toys than my 4yr old and 3 month old combined. maybe even if we include my 15 yr old.

yeah, i know, i'm a sucker too, i already paid $99 when I preordered it months ago. So it's only going to be about $30+tax once it comes out. And now Master Replicas/Corgi are going to be releasing props from Halo, it's going to be an expensive Christmas this year. Can't wait for the beta to start yet.

just got a call from Gamestop. MS just released the price on the legendary edition with the helmet. $129 US. OUCH! Gamestop preorder had it listed at $99. Wonder if I can force Gamestop to honor that price.

I believe the zephyr is coming out. It has to come out with a bigger HD because Microsoft just partnered with AT&T for whatever they plan on doing. They are supposed to be offering some deal with AT&T also, too bad I already have DirecTV and AT&T. If I wanted to pay MS all that $$ to d/l movies and tv shows to my 360, that 12 gb HD isn't going to cut it. That's why they have to release the zephyr with the bigger HD. Oh, I say 12gb, because when my system was new, it only had 12gb free. 8gb is reserved for some reason.

I tried the demo and to me it was ok. I was never into the GTA games, and this reminds me of GTA. With a new baby in the house, game time is very limited these days.

Anyone know how the Halo 3 beta invite is going to work? You can only have one beta on one console correct? i.e. You can't use one gamertag on one console with an invite, then use a second gamertag on the same console with the Crackdown invite? Which would probably make sense, so anyone want my sealed and new Crackdown with Halo 3 beta invite? I won't be needing it. I forgot I preordered and paid for it awhile back. No refunds, so I'm stuck with a game I don't need.

I think everyone else is trying to do the same thing. If we go into Toronto for vacation late this summer, I'll try picking some up, I never get stopped at customs. But until we get my son's surgery all paid off, vacations this year are canceled.

well, hopefully since it's Epic and not MS, this won't require VISTA to run. Someone told me that you needed VISTA to run Halo 2 on the PC. Not a problem since I have VISTA, but I am debating installing XP over VISTA, but since it's a work computer, they probably won't allow it. Wonder if I can set up a dual-boot system on it. Guess I should take that topic over to the computer thread.

Work just got me a Dell XPS 410 with Vista Home Premium on it. I haven't bothered to set it up yet, it's all sitting in boxes in my house. It'll probably sit there till I get home this weekend. No need to set it up or anything since the Accident Reconstruction Software hasn't even been paid for yet. The city will spend close to $2000 each to get three computers for us accident techs, but they are balking at spending $8000 for the software and total station. It's all grant money, c'mon. I'm tired of drawing accidents and doing the math by hand. And I asked for notebooks. How are we supposed to lug desktops around to accident scenes?????? morons...i'll have to break my notebook and use the best buy warranty to get a newer run just to run the accident software. I'll try Vista out this weekend hopefully. I don't know if they got a good computer or not, but it comes with vista installed. it's got 2gb ram, 500 gb HD, 2.4ghz Duo Core, Geforce 7900GS, 20" widescreen LCD, hopefully it'll run Vista and the Accident Software. I know my laser printer will work with Vista, I downloaded the drivers last week, but my color all-in-one is pending. The Dell will probably sit in the basement until SP1 comes out.

Yea, that was me, while I was feeding the 2 month old, I was watching my 15 year old playing. He learned how to stick people with grenades while playing with you guys. Sorry if he was annoying, he likes to talk trash, I know he kept asking you (Apollo Leader) why you kept using the Hammer of Dawn and why you kept dying, then he got lucky and killed all four of the other team once, then he started talking more trash.

ok, will try transforming everything later, but I had a quick question. Got my YF-19 the other day, and I finally got to open it today, haven't had time to transform it yet, but will get to it later. I was lining up some of my 1/60s: VF-0S, VF-1J, YF-19, Q-Rau and was wondering if anyone knew the scale of the old Matchbox Officer Pod? I'll dig out a 3 3/4" action figure and see if it's similar in size to the Miria figure in the Q-Rau.

MGS4 preorder for PS3 and 360 supposedly starts next week at Gamestop. Konami is doing rumble for 360. So if I can preorder it next week, I'll let you guys know. I'll probably preorder it for both systems. I gotta justify the PS3 somehow. Maybe FF13....

here's the thing with my Feb. 06 360. It locks up every now and then on Dead Rising and Gears of War. Never on Halo 2. Haven't picked up Lost Planet yet, will get it later this week and see if it locks up. I'll say this though, for the last three weeks, it hasn't locked up at all. When I finally got around to hooking up the PS3, I moved the 360 and stuck it next to the PS3. Both are now on the shelf with plenty of air space behind and in front, and it seems to be running fine, I just don't like how LOUD the drive is on the 360, I have to turn up the TV.
