FYI, I just sent out a bunch of friend requests to everyone on the list that I didn't have already SARGE051 ---- Anyone play Marvel Ultimate Alliance or Forza Motorsport? I think it's the free pack-in game that comes with one of the newer systems. I was at GS when the MS rep stopped by passing out copies to employees and he tossed me a copy. Was wondering if I should even bother trying it or just give it away to someone at Xmas time. I haven't played a fighting game since DOA2 came out on PS2. Racing game?? Super Sprint in the arcades? yeah, I'm old!

wow, that's a blast from the past, I have something similar. Can't remember where I put it, I think it's in the basement, gimme a sec to find it. I think it was someone from the US that had them. It was $50 or $60!!! I think he charged $25 for shipping to keep his ebay fees down. Ouch! found it, it's supposed to have a red light, but it looks more pinkish when turned on. wow, i like this. first thing i did was boot it up and play in a team battle. my team sucked!! i got around 9000 pts and the next closest on my team was in the 4000s. i need better teammates!!!!

ack, finally got to GameStop today to pick up my Ace Combat and F15 faceplate. Guess I will be sticking that faceplate next to all the other unused faceplates in my house on another note, I was able to D/L the addon packs to Oblivion on my son's 360 without paying again as long as I did it on my Gamertag. However, I was unable to access them using his gamertag, so they might be gamertag specific. Now I need to move my account back to my 360 so I can play Ace Combat tonight.

D/Ls are gamertag specific. After getting my "refurb" 360, I stuck the old hard drive back on it with everything on it. After my wife got me the Halo edition 360 as a surprise, I recovered my gamertag to it and was able to d/l all the stuff I had in the past to the new one with no problems. My gamertag is still on both systems. I'll have to try and recover my gamertag on my brother's 360 one day and see if I can d/l stuff onto his HD. Now, I haven't tried to play the D/L'ed stuff on another gamertag, but I figured they were game specific. I know the maps for Gears and Halo 2 were not gamertag specific. ---- I have d/l'ed some add-ons for Oblivion on my console. I will run downstairs tomorrow and see if I can d/l them again for free on my son's console. He's asleep now and has his door locked, I don't feel like picking it.

If they let you exchange it, try and gently shake the box to see if the discs are loose inside. Chances are if it's loose, it's scratched. If you don't hear it, then you'll get lucky. I'd just exchange it for the regular edition, those haven't been scratched. If you add a month, it just adds extends your current expiration by one month. You don't lose any time. Mine expires in 15 months. (I had a 12 month card and just added the free one months I keep getting)

The manager at my GS told me that MS is handling all the replacements. If you go to GS and exchange it, chances are you are going to get another scratched disc. My brother gave me his Limited Edition for my son which was scratched. I sent it off to MS, cost me about $2, and after about a week, we got the replacement discs, non-scratched and works fine. Here's the page where you can download the form. http://www.xbox.com/en-US/support/systemus...dconditions.htm I just bought a bubble mailer when I was at the store, stuck the scratched discs in between the forms (I printed two, one for each disc), and stuffed it all in the envelope and sent it off. PITA, but no scratched discs. Haven't really played it much since my son and I finished it splitscreen while waiting. Took about 2 to 2.5 hours. Done. Tried some online the other day, but I'm trying to finish most of the quests in Oblivion before Ace Combat comes out.

i know it's free, but i'm complaining for the ones that actually went out and bought the limited edition and wanted to play, they're stuck with waiting for replacement discs. You'd think whoever designed the case would make sure it holds the discs in. The Gears Collector's Edition had standard holders built in, they should've done that with Halo 3 instead of trying to be fancy. My first 360 scratched my Gears disc and MS wanted $20 to replace it. No way.

it was a brown vf-1j he trained in, let me see if i can get a screen cap. Looks like he started with the VF-1D, then in training in a brown VF-1A, switched to a VF-1J, then he got his white/red VF-1J, then Roy's VF-1S.

Ok, finally got around to opening the free limited edition Halo 3 my brother gave me (he got in on that best buy deal for a free 360 and halo 3), and both these discs are scratched to he!! checked the net, of course, it's common. Was at GS yesterday and they were told by MS, we know the discs are falling out and getting scratched, sell them anyway and tell your customers to contact us for replacement. what a load of BS!!!! At least replacements are free other than having to mail your discs in sheesh. another bad move Microsoft!

How would I check the drive on the Halo edition? The Halo edition is noiser than my 08/15/07 Premium, but much quieter than the original 02/06/06 version. I am tempted to just swap 360s with my son so I can have the quieter drive.

tastes like liquid starburst to me. how long does it normally take you guys to get into a match? it's averaging 5 minutes for me.

no painting done at all, that's how it came. i still have odds and ends to put in, there's the fancy stuff on the inside, i haven't bothered putting the battery in yet, etc. it actually looks fine to me so I haven't gotten back around to it, I think I'm going to have someone put my Imai Legioss together since I suck at painting.
