Yes VF-1D and GBP! I had a hunch it would be something off the wall the way Bandai releases things. No doubt it will be nearly impossible to preorder, but I am excited for this one and will definitely get one or two somehow. Will be interesting to see if there's some non canon options for the GBP too. Lots of cool stuff coming...my wallet is going to suffer

They could do a two pack of TV Max VF-1A and DYRL VF-1A Max plus the same for Hayao.....or a two pack thats TV Max and Hayao VF-1A plus a two pack for DYRL Max and Hayao

I agree with this feeling toward Bandai's figures. The DX figures plus accessories are difficult to get and expensive on the secondary market. This is getting to be quite a turn off for me. They do a few things better than 1/48 Yamato VF-1 figures but also a few things worse. The Super/Strike Parts are rather underwhelming considering how hard they have been to get. It is curious and amusing that there is some details hidden inside the glued on covers. Bandai could have made the greatest VF-1 toy of all time but they settled for pretty good.

I am curious about these myself. Wouldn't mind the Cannon Fodder VF-1A if its tampo'd like a PF... but I can't navigate the Tabao site

It's definitely less pink than the previous Arcadia release. I will try to get a picture of mine next to my 30th Anniversary Yamato VF-1J Hikaru for comparison as I don't have the previous Arcadia GBP set

I had it preordered at HLJ. It was available in my private warehouse a little early and I had it shipped via DHL for about 4500 yen. It arrived at my house on Friday.

Yeah a bit disappointed in the lack of gray goggles. I am glad to see they improved the overall plastic color of the VF-1J - no more salmon pink hue. Would really love to see them produce a weathered version or even premium format with all possible tampo version of this set.

I can confirm mine has white goggles. Was a little surprised to find it lacks the gray visor

Mine said they will add it to the Charge 2 payment. Maybe they won't charge the balance until they receive the item in February and it's ready to ship.

If anybody is curious about how the DX VF-1 Shoulder armor comes apart - here it is. It's two halves - I pulled up on the long end to expose the seam and then worked my thumbnail into it. Two out of three pegs broke. I don't know if they were glued or just really right. The larger half is the front in Battroid mode. Going to try disassembling the other shoulder without breakage. Experimenting for future painting possibilities. Edit: Upon closer inspection, I think those pegs were glued. Might try some heat for the other shoulder.

I also received notice from From Japan that they made a mistake and they need the full payment up front.

This is word for word the response I got from them a few weeks ago. I ordered 5 SSP because obviously I am stupid lol. Should probably get them by 2023.

That pleasantly surprised me too. I had to pay the full amount up front last time. It seems likely HLJ will carry the PF as well as the regular version. I think they did with everything else
