Mine showed up today. I haven't tried to transform it yet; it's displayed in fighter mode on the stand so I can admire it. The thing that surprised me most is the heft of this figure!

I hope this isn't the case. It would be nice to see them stick to the TV series. The schizo release schedule of the HMR stuff leaves a lot of frustrating questions. Will they ever finish DYRL or release more Dougram stuff? Will we get a proper TV Roy release? How about the Destroids? It will be interesting to see how many DX VF-1 releases there will be.

I am really hoping for a PF of this, although it's a little scary to think about the price point for it.

Imagine the level of preorder madness when long awaited stuff like the Tomahawk or more modern valks come out in HMR. Looking forward to them all - but I already have anxiety about it.

HLJ let me get one into my cart just now but by the time I got through the login and process they were order stop again. Their new site is garbage. I snuck one in through AmiAmi though. Yay! Cdjapan said they had two, but it was broken they were gone.

That's how mine turned out too. Fiddled around with it a bit but that's as good as it gets. It irks me a bit. I was going to try mounting it with the forearm cannon present to see if it levels it out. Looks like the gun position is sideways in that configuration.

Thank you for the assistance! Forgot about the shoulder flaps. You were also right about the torso sliding part - I had to pull it out a little farther to get the click. Unfortunately this didn't solve the lock problem. Not sure what is going on here. It almost feels like the canopy is keeping the front and back just a little bit too far apart to line up. I decided to try my hand at transforming back to fighter mode. Got it back but man oh man that's a chore that I don't want to do again. Scuffed some paint in a few areas even though I was careful. Chalk it up to inexperience. Worth mentioning the instructions are full color and very helpful. It does gloss over a few important parts here and there, but they are nice.

Yes I believe the head lasers are being broken when everything is pressed into place in packaging. With the help of jenius' vf-19 advance transformation video and a lot of patience, I got mine transformed into Battroid mode. First I stopped to get all the fast pack parts installed on fighter mode. That was a little frustrating, but they look nice. In Battroid mode, I can't get the tab behind the head to lock into place. The angles are just wrong no matter how I do it. The hip joints and toe/heel rotation points are insanely stiff too. It's a beautiful valk, but I am not sure I can get it back into fighter mode without getting an engineering degree first.

My YF-19 from AmiAmi showed up first thing Monday morning. Man DHL is fast. This is the first YF-19 I have owned, so I can't compare it to the older Arcadia or Yamato versions (or even the previous VF Advance). That said, this thing is beautiful! I love the colors and how much heft the figure has when you hold it. Had a broken head antenna, but a little glue fixed that easily. Didn't realize the display stand came with it so that was a pleasant surprise for me. I love the tampo markings but maybe Bandai went a wee bit overboard on this one. Most of the seams need some cleanup and tightening up, but I am kind of afraid to mess with it until I view a good transformation video.

Oh my. I am inexperienced with anything beyond VF1s so I am a little worried about transforming mine. That's why I got two - one to display as a fighter and one that will be very carefully transformed into Battroid mode exactly once and displayed that way forever.

Guilty. I have been watching AmiAmi daily hoping another shows up. My first preorder is elsewhere. Wanted a second one so I can display one in fighter mode and one in battroid mode. Not really a fan of Gerwalk on the YF-19. If anyone here is interested I will probably sell the set of fighter ordinance from the second one. Not sure what a fair price would be.

Finally opened my VT-1...the color matching is just as awful in person. Other than the poor color choices and being the first HMR figure I got that features factory paint chips, it's a nice looking figure. Hopefully they'll do better with the VF-1D.

I am hoping to see some Vf-1As too. They released multiple 1Ss in 2017(and 16?) and two 1Js in 2018 (excluding weird special editions), so there's some hope the 1A is next. My first choice would be Max's 1A from DYRL. VF-1D would be snazzy too. Excited to see a PF GBP too if they release it.

This is my view on Arcadia as I am a newer collector too. I came around still a year too late for the rerelease of the two VF-1S so I had to settle for used ones. The Premiums are sharp looking and would love to get a couple, but they proved near impossible to get and insanely expensive to get in the aftermarket. Hopefully they rerelease the armored Vf-1J...I will definitely get one of those.

No kidding. Well, so that's what happened. I was so close. If I had just been a few seconds faster on the draw! As if that's humanly possible. They must not have had too many available. I really only wanted the two VF1S premiums. If I could get those, I would have tried to get any other premiums as they were released.

Nope, I won't pay massive markup. I almost bought one of Jungle for 40000 yen but couldn't talk myself into it. This will guarantee I never get a premium finish Arcadia VF of any kind, barring I find a good deal on one, which I doubt. The near impossibility of collecting some Macross stuff is frustrating. I did save a ton of money today though, haha.
