  1. Oooh these would be cool in PF format. Would definitely have to check out a cannon fodder VF-1A
  2. Imagine if a VF-1D comes out or when Focker inevitably releases. If I didn't like them so much in Battroid mode I would seriously reconsider collecting these. Bandai really takes the fun out of it.
  3. Looks like FJ dropped my order. I didn't get a message but it disappeared from my shopping list. Hopefully they won't be too hard to get when it releases in August.
  4. Ahh okay. Mine is still pending but I can't imagine it will go through. Will see if I get a response from them tonight. That's nuts they reached their limit on something in a few hours that's open to preorders for a month .So much for TWE items being easier to secure in the early stages. Bandai is special.
  5. Did you get a response from FJ saying that?
  6. Same situation for me. Waiting for confirmation from FJ. If not, they will eventually turn up for sale on the internet somewhere. Max VF-1As became quite plentiful with time. I will wait to see if and when NY ships me my Super/Strike parts before I give them any money again.
  7. Is anyone else having trouble opening the Kakizaki page on the Bandai website? It was working for me earlier.
  8. Nice, Bandai is still kicking. I love Kakizaki and Max's DYRL schemes so I am excited for this one. Would have made more sense if it was his TV scheme instead but glad to see another release. The backward numbers thing is Bandai exclaiming 'We do what we want!'
  9. I dare say I like this thing. It would look really cool displayed with the Kitzconcept figures. Interesting to note they actually have the KC Rick figure up on the Kidslogic website now. But yikes the rivets and the glowy orange display screen.
  10. I love the DYRL schemes but it would be really disappointing if they never release a TV Kakizaki. If they only release a single VF-1S that's meant to represent TV Roy, TV Hikaru, and DYRL Roy (with all the pilot figures) I could handle it. An incomplete Vermillion would be a travesty.
  11. That's an excellent start! It's a very addictive collecting hobby
  12. Surprised? No. I am happy to see them doing well. Their 1/60 Macross (and the Yamatos before them) figures are my favorite toys to collect. The Premium Finish versions especially. They are a little pricey, no doubt, but they are the high end collectible I want in my display cases. The price point means they aren't sold out the second they get released, which I appreciate. I am a little bummed that there's no mention of the VT-1. Maybe it will be released without warning like the VE-1 was. The Nora is a sharp paint scheme and the Premium VF-4A looks fantastic.
  13. Yeah the colors look good. Arcadia seems to be going strong. They have a lot of toys presented, which is a good thing. Looks like maybe the VF-4 is next to the SV-51s?
  14. Another SV-51, eh? I wonder if it will have correctly assembled legs.
  15. I agree that would be great. Shin's gray VF-0A is my favorite from Macross Zero. 1/60 PF Arcadia Valkyries are still my favorite Macross figures.
  16. My hope is they release a TV Kakizaki VF-1A so we can complete Vermillion. I would be content with that, especially if it's a TWE release. But Bandai seems to go out of their way to avoid completing any part of a line. 1/48 VF-1D for the first time would be fantastic, but preorder will probably be another bloodbath. The impossible preorders are becoming more and more of a turn off for me on the line.
  17. If they adjust some of the fitment and tolerance issues too, this should be a great figure. I wonder if they will re-release Roy's VF-1S with these improvements later on. Maybe they will release it as a Rick Hunter version.

    Macross figures

    Breetai has arrived

    Macross figures

Same here and I agree completely.
  20. I just got the NY notification that my Super/Strike order got bumped to April too. I ordered a full set of 5 of them almost immediately. Pretty shady of NY, but not unexpected. This may make me pause before ordering anything from them again. Luckily I got a spare set on the way from a different source so my Hikaru 1S can be decked out. Not like I need the rest of them until they release all the rest of the DYRL figures but I am still irked. Might as well wait it out at this point. Bandai's stuff is neat, but I much prefer collecting Arcadia's stuff to be honest. All of this nonsense is unnecessary.
  21. Yes FromJapan will store your items for up to 45 days. You can put as few or as many items into a shipment as you want and get an estimate with various shipping methods. You do have to pay them for shipping costs to them from the seller if there was any. I am not familiar with Tenso fees or shipping so I don't know how they compare.
  22. Premium Format VT-1 would be an awesome follow-up to the VE-1. Would also love to see an Alaska Base VF-1A.
  23. Agree with these points. I have used From Japan quite a bit and have never had any issues. They are very professional in their services and have been thoroughly helpful the few times an issue came up. I used them to preorder a couple of items from Arcadia that took longer than expected (such as this VF-0D) and it went fine. I asked them politely if they could touch base with Arcadia and they were happy to do so. I also won a Yahoo auction for one of my DX VF-1 figure preorders. By the time FromJapan received the item, the auction was taken down. They sent me pictures of the item and asked if it was correct since they couldn't view the original auction anymore.
