Totally fake looking

Glad The Batman gets to move forward. Was the best representation of “detective Batman” on the big screen yet. Could care less about “Joker” since it has absolutely nothing to do with the actual character and would more accurately be called “Crazy Angry Clown Guy”.

That’s scary. Looks like it hurt too

Good for Gunn and Co finally coming along and being the people with the guts to just completely clean house and move on.

A long time ago (before the prequels) I remember some assertion that the Storm Troopers were clones and were so far removed from the original source material at that point that their abilities had deteriorated, but I think stories since then have sort of done away with that theory.

This show is fantastic. That last episode. Wow.

Gunn takes the reigns on the DCU Could make a huge turning point for DC movies. Will be very interested to see the plan. I’m guessing they will have a much more coordinated approach now.

You’re right! I totally had that wrong. Read an article that said there were only 9 episodes this season. WHEW!

Only Murders episode 9 was outstanding. Fantastic cliffhanger. Need to go back and watch the whole thing from beginning to end.

The Transformers Thread (licensed) Next
hutch replied to mikeszekely's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
@mikeszekely I haven’t collected transformers in years and years but I come here just to see your reviews and look at your excellent pictures. It keeps me in touch with a hobby I can no longer afford and a part of my life that is in the past but still holds a lot of positive feelings for me. Thanks for all the work you put in.- 16945 replies

Caught up on OMitB Continually impressed with the creativity of this show. The “putting the memory back together” scene was beautiful and extremely well done. Also impressed with the character development. There are so many on this show that would have been left as 2 dimensional characters on 99% of shows and instead on this one get fully fleshed out as “real people” with all the associated complications and complexities. Glad this is already renewed for season 3 and can’t wait to see who killed Bunny!

Keanu stars in Devil In the White City adaptation Between the source material, star, and general quality of recent Hulu originals I’m super excited about this.

Kelly is a grandma that looks like a grandma. That’s how life ACTUALLY works. I think Frakes is the one who surprised me most. That guy struggled with his weight throughout the series when he was younger. That’s not usually a good sign for when you get older.

Yep. Couldn’t agree more and very well said.

The Old Man was fantastic. Probably the best show I’ve seen in a while and a great cliffhanger.
