Looks horrible, imo. Completely destroys the lines of a beautiful bird and for a none too appealing bot mode, I think.

I like it, except the feet. For some reason they really bug me. Otherwise "Bravo" to Bandai on this one.

I do wish they had tampo printed the "Angel Birds" on the leg. IIRC that was there in the ep.

Huh. I've never had that problem. Guess I'm just lucky. All I know is that it's tough to do sharp angle poses with the new tips because they have zero 'stick' to them. I've resorted to putting sticky tack on the tips so I can get the poses I want.

I would pay more for the old style stands. In my opinion they were vastly superior. Between the weight and also the black rod tips are much better.

Agree the newer flightpose stands are a disappointment. Quality of workmanship and materials is way down compared to the earlier version.

I'm such a maroon. I was converting Vermillion squad to fighter mode tonight and I broke that little tab on the inside of the left hip/intake of my VF-1J. I don't think it does that much to hold the hip where it needs to be but it just ticks me off. My own fault of ham handed handling. BAH. -

I got a YF-19 Double Nuts today. Love it for the most part, however one question. Is there any way the upper body will lock? Mine is completely loose and floppy. The tab that's supposed to 'lock' the nose does no such thing. Help? -
