Hmmm, pricey but I think I like the CMS one better. Could someone help to elaborate why the Megahouse one is said to be more realistic/proportionate? The CMS one looks fine to me, and I can accept that the helmet is bigger. It's a helmet anyway! Look at how large the DRYL ones are! And additional details like the thruster fins are appreciated too. More than that, I like how the CMS one looks in both modes. The megahouse bike mode looks too small for the the rider. Ray and Stick have a really long neck, so I can't imagine displaying the Megahouse in any mode other than the combined form (which I agree looks spiffy too!) Just my thoughts though.

Not sure if it has been posted, but from Mainichi: http://mainichi.jp/enta/mantan/news/200711...200040000c.html Rough translation: DYRL remastered DVD to be released 21 Dec, 10290 yen. Headed by Kawamori-san, the film will be completely digitally remastered. The release will also include a 576 page book containing storyboards and background notes, as well as a disc containing previews, commercials, and images from the famicom and sega saturn games.

Just to add to my wishlist.... A Revoltech Gurren-Lagann would be much appreciated, Kaiyodo! *still keeping fingers crossed for a Fraulein Major Kusanagi*

Eh, I just ordered a Revoltech Revy... think she would look great on a Cyclone! I wonder if she'll fit into Megahouse's offering though.

Battlestar Galactica Discussion

Interesting tidbit about the New Cap websides from Ron Moore about the ongoing strike: http://tv.ign.com/articles/833/833633p1.html Didn't know the webisodes were actually shown against his will... -
It's good that Kring himself is acknowledging what went wrong in the first few eps... last ep was good, next ep looks good from the trailers too. From the ew article: "THE ROOKIES DIDN'T GREET THEMSELVES PROPERLY New Heroes Monica (Dana Davis), Maya (Dania Ramirez), and Alejandro (Shalim Ortiz) ''shouldn't have been introduced in separate story lines that felt unattached to the show. The way we introduced Elle (Kristen Bell) — by weaving her in via Peter's story line — is a more logical way to bring new characters into the show.'' (That said, Kring says a few newbies won't make it beyond this second volume, which wraps Dec. 3" Read somewhere that Elle is supposed to be involved through the season, Monica still has to become St Joan... so that leaves... the twins? So far they're quite shallow, the show would'nt miss them much, methinks.

http://tformers.com/ig.php?mode=album&...800&start=0 Comparison pics for MP-03, MP-05 and Hasbro SS. Looking at all three, I still think MP-03 has the best colors. Mind you, I'm not TF truist, just that visually I like how MP-03 looks in relation to the other 2. Skywarp is nice too, but the black hides so much of the detail...

Aliens Vs. Predator 2 Script and Movie Review
the_foul_fowl replied to bsu legato's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Favourite quote of Aliens: "Vasquez, have you ever been mistaken for a man?" "No, have you?" lol... AvP2 based on the trailer, pretty interesting so far. -
I found it pretty alright, in fact, better than the last few eps. Gotta admit it's been pretty slow going, but Hiro's story feels like it's finally going somewhere. HRG is still badass. I love how surreal it was for him t be speaking to Clare while torturing the ukrainian. New villain/hero: Adam Munroe? Urgh, still dislike that Tom Welling wannabe.... Saw the preview for next week's ep. Looking good too. I remember the producers saying that there would be 2 main arcs this season, the first, Generations, from eps 1-10. If we're still following this structure, pace should pick up from now.... i hope!

Seeing the Brokken, I can't help but hope for a Revoltech 2.0 Protect Gear. I'd love to have an affordable one, so far recent releases have been 1/6, very pretty, but heckuva ex. Would love to have one that I could fiddle around with...

Er, recon, don't mind me saying, but I think this is a custom from the previously released 1:5000 piece. I remember seeing this in one of the hobby mags a few months back. If the details of the upcoming one is as good as this... I might be wrong about it though...

Same thoughts! I'm tempted to get a squad o' Helldivers. I really think a few of them would look great together... And I haven't even watched any Patlabor anime before

One of the local shops here is already taking preorders for the ivanow reissue, expected in Nov or Dec. They're quite reliable outlet, so I guess the reissue goes to show how popular the Ivanov is. I wonder if there'll be any fixes...

Don't forget Lt Reed from Enterprise too! :lol"

I hope it's a 1/60 Perfect Transformation VF-1 too, if only becuase they should be cheaper than the 1/48s It makes sense for Yamato too, to standardize the scale for their releases
-
And er, don't forget Snake's girly mags! heh Frames from FMP, excellent idea!

Should be this one It's cute and all, but kinda waste of the Revoltech poseability though...
