  1. I dunno man, this is the same company that figured out how to produce and internal heat shield for the VF-1 that required no parts swapping, and figured out a way for the VF-1 toy be perfect transformation yet still have ball jointed legs with no visible swing bars on the side of the cockpit. Also the Fire Valk I hear, is easy to transform, and this is the same company that made a 1/60 YF-19 that some have said was kind of difficult to transform. They also made the 1/60 YF-21/VF-22S perfect transformation and kept it slim in fighter mode. I think they might be able to pull off the VF-4G transformation with ease. At this point, no one cares if some aspects of transformation aren't canon, just so long as the toy is perfect transformation. For example, Yamato once said that the V1 1/60 VF-1 transformation was canon with leg removal, but once the 1/48 came out, for fans it was full transformation or bust. For us no one cares how it's done just as long as there is no parts swapping needed.
  2. I think it will come with the works but part of me thinks it'll only be WebExclusive initially, to guage demand. Why? Maybe Yamato is worried because the VF-4 doesn't have much exposure, Flashback 2012 is the only anime it's seen in, and iirc we didn't even see the official battroid mode until M3.
  3. YES! Now the big question, How much?
  4. ...so not kit, and not $600
  5. Regult was HDP and quite big though. If the VF-4 is made as a toy, it should be substantially cheaper.
  6. If it's fully painted and assembled as a toy, I think $300+ might be reasonable. If it's unpainted in kit form and HDP, I'm out. However I have some hope that it's an assembled toy, since the flyer doesn't make a distinction between kit and toy.
  7. Oh man. Hope this isn't too pricey(main thing I was worried about).
  8. QUICK! Upload them pics Graham, are you going to let Gamlin and his long awaited Nightmare be hijacked by GUNDAM TALK?!
  9. Licenses can be per design, not necessarily per series iirc, in Japan.
  10. I know, but if it's web exclusive, that's news that could piss fans off or make them happy.
  11. I think it's the VF-19P. VF-17D had a lot of screentime, might be in demand as much as, if not moreso, than the VF-17S. VF-4 would be an all new mold and a limited production run as a web exclusive kit imho, wouldn't justify the costs of tooling. I think the web exclusive is the VF-19P. Only shows up in Dynamite 7, Yamato already used most of the mold for the Fire and Blazer Valkyrie, and Basara is far more remembered for his Fire Valkyrie than his VF-19P. Thus, not as much appeal as the Fire Valkyrie, and some fans may pass since they may already have his Fire Valky and prefer it. VF-4 would be better for mass release as it's from Flashback 2012, flown by the main protagonist of Macross, and next year is Macross 30th. Best year to release a VF-4 and it is something that's been in demand for quite some time. BTW Graham is the Nightmare as sturdy as the Fire Valk?
  12. Too bad they never reissued the D, the head sculpt on that is bad ass. So, we could be just a few weeks away from the release of the 17S. Hoping to see a final production sample soon.
  13. PCC seemed to me, as Hasbro's answer to Bakugan but with a Transformers take on it. The scout figures and minicons were great for the most part, it was basically a modern Targetmaster/Breastmaster line and these are the best minicons we've seen in years. The combined modes fell short because they lacked traditional elbow joints and I think hand held weapons would've been cool.
  14. 1st I've heard on the 1/48 man....that sucks!
  15. Also a popular scale for realworld aircraft models. Added benefit, cheaper cost!
  16. Wow...I dunno man, Expendables 1 was awesome and Chuck Norris and Van Damme are also in Expendables 2. Reason enough for me to watch. I don't think Channing Tatum is in the movie for long, he wasn't mentioned much in the casting call sheets. Plus from the articles posted months earlier it seemed that Roadblock and Snake Eyes would be the main 2 characters focused on.
  17. I can agree that the complaints about the ankles are valid complaints. They won't stop me from buying one but they do hold the Blazer back a bit.
  18. They haven't said if Scarlett died but I doubt it. There's also another Joe named Mouse, then Havoc, and a few more. Wonder if the Dreadnoks will appear, since Zartan is president.
  19. Bad ass. Red with white trim and cool grey underside.
  20. VFX2. Also background in Macross Plus.
  21. That's a bad comparison as the VF HI METAL has better forward/backward ankle articulation. Nished I dig the side to side articulation, but I wonder if ratchets were used in lieu of a ball joint, would the side to side articulation be diminished?
  22. I wonder, is there any way ratchets could've been used while retaining the side to side articulation on the ankles?
