As much as I'd love to see that, it is doubtful. I think we have already seen nearly every 25th anniversary/Universe/Classics figure that we are going to get before the movie.

Are the burr ends on the shoulder pins all facing downwards?

I am wondering about a few things with this DX toy. The gun holder is detachable, when going from gerwalk to battroid mode, but can it be placed anywhere for storage? Are each of the hands thin enough to fit inside the shield in fighter mode? Going by the instructions, it seems like transformation is straightforward and not complicated at all. It looks great and I have read nothing about breakages or bad qc yet, which is a good thing.

From everything I have seen, there might not be sticker sheets at all. The toy fresh out of the box, still in the plastic bag had a lot of markings already tampoed/painted on, and I have yet to see a sticker sheet, even the instruction manual doesn't show any place to put stickers on, or directions to do so. More pics!

I think the piece highlighted in the Dengeki scan is a piece that has to be pushed down before completing transformation so that the neck sticks up.

You should be able too, seems like these are already shipping out.

Honestly I like the way the VF-1D toy currently looks. Fix the shoulders and I will be content.

The VF-1D shown at Hobby Complex does not have the grey shoulder hinges shown in the promo ads, and now has the TV hands. Hmmm...if the Yamato page for it updates to include POM in the materials list, I think we can pretty much say that the only POM on the VF-1 toys(not the FAST packs which do have POM either on the parts or missles) is on the TV style hands.

I think it would be better to just have weathering applied to all of their releases. I remember back when their first 1/72 releases came pre-panel lined, I liked that.

In the anime, no. In the toys? Yes.

I wonder if the text near his photo indicates any future releases.

Smaller tailfins bother me more than having tailfins stick out in battroid mode on account of having larger tailfins.

I agree, and would want that implemented. Ever since 2000 I've been waiting for a VF-11 toy with larger vertical stabilizers.

With this made, I hope Yamato decides to also give the VF-1A TV Max Type a shot..

No it isn't, we haven't seen it out of the box transformed yet outside of publicity shots, though I imagine we should very soon. Alto is out too but the guy only bought Ozma.
