Poll: Is your v.2 1/60 VF-1S broken or perfect?

It doesn't help that much, that was one of the first methods suggested, as well as loosening the shoulder screws. -

Chest armor, micromissle pods, 2 parts for the gun, 2 pieces of armor per arm, leg, and intake(I think), and display stand. -
I think it's a case of the market once again being saturated with VF-1's. There are more now, then years back, not only do you still have 1/48's that can still be bought, but also new limited edition versions, the new 1/60 line doesn't seem like it will run out of steam anytime soon, and the 1/55 can still be had as well. On the American front, you have the 1/100's from Toynami. In the future, no one will be surprised if Tamashii makes a VF100's toy. That's in addition to the plamo rereleases that happen every few years. Surprisingly enough, I don't have many of either one, but my mentality is the opposite. There will be enough Yamatos to go around for a while, in the future, they will be easier to obtain, since Yamato tends to reissue particular variants every now and then, depending on popularity. For example Roy's 1S shouldn't be too hard to find in the future, because production on the new 1/60's doesn't look like it will stop for a long time. I can't say the same for the 1/55's.

Same here. Licensing issues, more often than not, get in the way of things fans want, mostly at the last minute.

Man I was anticipating the release of these things this year too..

To get it in, make sure the fuselage is pushed all the way up(this makes the nose not go past the knees in battroid mode), you might want to angle the swing bar then gently push the hip bar into place while simultaneously flattening the swing bar into position. To take it out, first angle the swing bar(you can feel a soft detent which will keep it in place) by pulling back on the backplate a bit, then swing both hip/intake joints forward/downward simultaneously(they should be perpendicular to the nose when you are done), at this point the nose hatch should have popped open, then, simply push the hip bar up, and out. This, when figured out, only takes a few seconds, literally.

That I'm not sure, haven't tried it yet, however the neck ball joint does have a good range of motion. I'm planning to get Akuma in the future, and I hope NECA makes Gouken and Sagat. -

I bought the Ryu figure from NECA. I'm not a fan of the art style in the game, and the figure takes after that, however the figure itself turned out fine. Articulation is great, and it is quite sturdy. Mine had a stuck elbow, which took a while to free, and that's my primary issue with it. Other than that it is fun to pose on the desk. I hope NECA makes figures styled after SSF2Turbo, 3rd Strike, or the Alpha series, as I prefer the style from those as opposed to the steroid enhanced look of IV. -

Both are worth getting at those prices. Animated Leader Megatron is one of the best Megatron figures ever made, and at that price, Leader Bulkhead is little over the price of voyager Bulkhead, hell at Walmart's current voyager prices, he may even be cheaper. -

The molds themselves are actually heavily retooled. Battle Begins Prime is more of a G1 Prime in animated style than an earth mode animated Prime. The voyager Prime's articulation and range of motion is inferior to the deluxe Primes. Joints are not as tight either. That Megatron isn't too bad. -
Yeah they look great, I don't mind the VF-1D's lineart defeating cockpit or the VF-1's pope collar, I just want fixed shoulder hinges.

Hey man if it happened to me, I'd be extremely irritated too, I've had broken collector's item toys, and it is not a good feeling. I've read the threads here, overseas, and elsewhere, and the screw problem is not widespread. It took a while before the problem showed up and even then it happened to possibly, little more than a handful of people. It really shouldn't happen and I hope reducing the tension on the left shoulder ball joint is done at the factory on the next runs. It's a simple procedure for them to do before releasing them. -

Cybertronian Prime is the best Prime in the line. I even like it better than the voyager. The voyager is good, I love the sculpt, but the lack of joint tension and ratchets is disappointing. Range of motion is not as good as the deluxe Prime's either. Wreck-Gar is okay, sculpt is great, like with voyager Prime, joint tension could have even better too. The weapon storage gimmick is cool. Agreed with that. I was so surprised at how it was able to retain all the articulation going from Longarm to Shockwave. Same here, I really want the Arcee figure, it looks fun to play with. -

That problem wasn't even announced for a month after release, and it wasn't widespread. Yes it is a problem, and no it shouldn't happen, but it is not widespread.
