Oh man poor Blurr, I didn't think they would actually do that too him! I hope he returns... Blackout looks cool, wish he had his movie colors though. Had no idea Cyclonus had swords, AWESOME! One of the first Rodimus's that I didn't mind too, I dig the bow. Haha "RANDOM PLACES?!" -

Wow, everyone that was speculating that Bandai lacked the foresight and business sense to do this just got owned. That's a good thing. I hope it looks more like the head on the upcoming VF100's version than on the 1/72 plamo....the VF100's has the best head sculpt for the VF-25S in my opinion, it captures that menacing look. Most of all, I hope the head lasers are going to be on ball joints that can angle out to the side significantly, that makes for a more dynamic appearance. -

They are exclusive to Tamashii's WebShop so you'd have to place an order through them. -

I got Inferno today, and I'm pleased with it, but it could have definitely been better. Not as disappointing to me as Universe Dinobot and Cheetor(the latter of which was very disappointing). Inferno has full articulation however his hips are like Jetfire's/Astrotrain's except that they can swivel at the hips. He has ratchets only on the shoulders, and by moving all of the other joints, the rest could have definitely benefitted from ratchets or detents as well. I do with the shoulder plating actually clicked into place or was secured better, otherwise you can have it on the back or side of the shoulders, but it can get pushed out of position easily, especially if you keep it at the sides. The head joint on mine is a bit wobbly, it holds position but there is definitely room for it to bobble around, for example if the surface it is on is shaking his head will bobble. Other than that I like the vehicle and robot modes a great deal. The intricacy of the detail definitely reminds me of the G1 toys more so than any other classics/universe figure. I dig the G2 homage by way of the gun because the g2 Inferno was the very first Inferno figure I had as as child. The dark red color of the body here is good, as is the printed details and markings. Definitely one of the best universe voyagers and so far, looks the most realistic of any universe figure in the line. -

Well that's something for him to do, his role in the last movie was ridiculous and unnecessary in my opinion. I also read that Jetfire has facial hair(which is also prominent in the coloring book scans from today), and that he uses one of the Blackbird landing gears as a cane, because he is old and injured. -
Even before when he wasn't working with Bandai on Frontier stuff, Kawamori has been hard to track down.

I think they will minimalize the amount of parts-swapping needed for transformation, as the VF-25 had too many parts to swap and some of them really shouldn't have been made swappable(or needed to be). -
Hasn't been announced or mentioned.

CHAR AZNABLE FTGDMF'NEW! -
I'm not accusing you of anything, I wasn't even replying to you. I did not know that and Graham I really wasn't accusing you of BS'ing. The text I was quoting wasn't even yours, it's Edwin3060's and I didn't check to see what posts of yours he was referring to about the logos being pointed out, so to me it looked like a case of "he-said she-said', also you know of how some fans tend to think they either deserve something or like to think that they are the ones responsible for how a company creates a product. So now I know that Yamato now knows the correct colors of the logo and no I wasn't trying to ruffle any feathers.

It isn't, no one knows anything about it. The only thing we do know is that if Hasbro wanted to, they could bring it over. If we don't find out in the q/a sessions the next few months, we will most likely find out at Botcon. -
You're giving MacrossWorld too much credit. The Yamato team most likely already knew about the color differences. They've made the VF-11 8 years ago and it came with the correct stickers, and the red/white ones if you wanted that option. In my experience, fans tend to claim credit for many things that they themselves did not contribute but love to think they contributed.

Yeah that applies to Yamato and the durability of their toys too. Personally, no. Armor, yes. Speakers and some figurine? No. True. No one has confirmed anything at all, and yes people are jumping the gun. -
It's on a ball joint and it looks like it has ample clearance, so it doesn't look too bad.

It's not like Yamato did anything different, the v1 1/60 VF-1A Hikaru and others in that line did not have the proper holes drilled in for FAST packs until later on. Also none of us know for sure if the packs pictured are incompatible with the 1st run 25's. -

No it's more like "hey all these toys share the same base mold anyways, mineswell use the retooled parts on all future releases". -

If it is for full armor(the heavy one) then it makes sense as Ozma and Alto's25's were the only ones seen with that kind of armor on. -

They didn't need to do that. -
Taste is subjective and one need not be swayed by nostalgia to like the 1/55. I still like it even after all these years.

It doesn't seem like that at all, you are just surprised that people have warmed up to Bandai's valkyries in a place predominantly populated by Yamato fans. By far, most people here are Yamato loyalists, the only time this place was full of Bandai die-hards was back when MacrossWorld first started, and the sight of a Joons bootleg was reason enough to be excited. I don't think anyone here has defended the VF-25G DX for having a sniper rifle that prevents it from sitting on it's landing gear in fighter mode. The small tail fins on the VF-11B are annoying, they aren't as bad in the newest pictures, but still annoying nonetheless. They aren't the significant improvement that one would expect from Yamato 8 years after releasing their very 1st VF-11B toy. None of Yamato's previous Macross Plus toys in 1/60 scale have smaller tail fins than we would expect, and neither do the DX VF-25's from Tamashii. It is stupid to claim that guys who like the DX VF-25's are complaining in the VF-11 thread just to irritate the Yamato fans, or have some nerd-rage revenge over the internet. Most of the complaints are legitimate reasons to be disappointed with the VF-11. That's the only modern valkyrie toy with tail fins that are shorter than anyone wanted them to be. Yes some may overlook that, and I myself have already said it isn't as bad in newer pics, but the complaints for it have nothing to do with liking the VF-25's from Bandai/Tamashii. Obviously misplanned? If that were the case, those toys would not have sold out quickly upon release. Moral of the story: don't believe someone who claims to know what the target market/audience wants based on his/her own particular bias towards another company. The DX toy is not a result of Bandai/Tamashii being incompetent and not being able to make an accurate toy. -
Universal hip joints, thigh swivels, missle clusters for the wings, and the ability to attach the gunpod in fighter mode would be good enough for me.
