  1. Haven't heard anything on that. I doubt it. If anything maybe a offscreen movie figure, but that's about it in my opinion.
  2. Nope your seeing a mod that a fan made using a revoltech joint(or wave joint, someone here did it before). Oh man, I'm glad I waited(looks at Quinjester), the 25S' new head sculpt looks great! Very menacing, as it should be.
  3. Some of the Takara designers on the current lines worked on the old GaoGaiGar toys, so it's possible that the combo itself is a reference to GaoGaiGar. I've found homages to other Brave figures in the Classics line too, like Classics Jetfire, resembles a gestalt component of one Braves robot, forgot the name though. The repaint, Treadbolt looks like another Braves robot too.
  4. That's what I'm planning to do too.
  5. Damn, that's not good at all. I hope the smaller diameter pin kills this problem once and for all(though I'd prefer a complete redesign designed to decimate the problem). Is your's the 1S Roy from last summer?
  6. Feel free to enlighten them. Saw more pics of Devastator from the Australian Toy Fair coverage. I don't care for the toy...disappointing for the size, and especially for the price. Maybe FansProject can engineer attachment pieces for the non-combining Constructicons, which actually enable them to combine and look a ton better than the actual Devastator figure. So far the only Constructicon figure to catch my eye is Rampage.
  7. Well the weathering clashes with the plastic, visually, because the plastic is bright white, while the weathering is grey. If the plane was molded in an off-white or light grey, the weathering would complement the plastic, as opposed to visually clashing with it.
  8. Despite my dislike of Michel(most of my purchases are character driven), this toy is beautiful and I'm tempted to buy it. Awesome shots Drifand.
  9. The weathering would have looked better on the test shot that Yamato originally received from the factory, which was a darker grey(it was shown on their blog months back).
  10. Well Silverbolt's alt mode looks more like an XB-70 than an SR-71, silhouette wise, especially from the front.
  11. Oh yeah and Jetfire looks awesome from the top in alt mode...undercarriage is far worse than Silverbolt's(whose wasn't as bad considering that it was based on the XB-70 which also had a big undercarriage), but not as bad as TF1 Starscream's. Robot mode is weird....
  12. Seems like Hasbro's approach is to make the huge Devastator simple, while the non-combining Constructicons detailed with full articulation. For $100 I'm still confused as to why the Constructicons in the combining set were not made to transform and be as detailed/articulated as their non-combining counterparts. If the Devastator figure is not extremely stable, rugged, and sturdy, then the simplicity of the toy becomes redundant(this is of course, along the lines of thinking that everything was compromised for the sake of durability). Devastator is a disappointing figure, most disappointing one I've seen from ROTF so far, I was ready for the design itself to be shocking, but not the simplicity of the toy, I wasn't expecting that at all for the price. Unless I really like how he is portrayed in the movie and the toy turns out exceptionally rugged and fun to play with, I won't be buying him.
  13. Doubt he is just in flashbacks, the coloring book scans showed him fighting with Jetfire, Starscream, and Prime at different points. Agreed, I just hope the robots themselves get more character development and screen time this time around, they were more interesting characters than the humans(most of which were cliche'). Not that some of of the bots and cons weren't cliche', but they were definitely more interesting.
  14. It's from Hearts of Steel, a Transformers book which takes place in the 1800's.
  15. Same here. I felt the same way AcroRay did too.
  16. Wow....wasn't expecting another Eagle variant but that's rather neat!
  17. If it makes you feel better my 360 got RROD, so I don't even have a choice, I can't play any of them! I hope the season 3 Animated characters make it into the toy line. Not just Arcee, I want Hot Shot, Rodimus, Cyclonus...damn Cyclonus looked AWESOME!
  18. There was at least 1 reported breakage.
  19. Sounds like what we would be paying to import here to the US(give or take a few $$). True, hell I was awed by it too. Alto did, however, actually get a shot at Ozma, while flying a VF-171EX....yeah he had more experience by then but it was cool to see the main character grow as a pilot.
  20. Seems like a smaller diameter pin might resolve the issue, as mon5t3r's fix utilized a shaved down pin to reduce tension, and his hasn't broken afterwards.
  21. Thanks for the heads up, any of you order from these guys before?
  22. Was that before your mod? That's how the left shoulder hinge is starting to look like on mine too.
  23. I don't know who the hell this is yet, but whatever, here is the a new voyager autobot plane: Click me
  24. Me too! Freaking Omega Supreme man...if made, it will possibly be the best Omega Supreme figure ever made(which considering that the Energon version is the most articulate, isn't a hard feat to accomplish).
