  1. CHAR FTW!!!!!!!!! I hope Unicorn is an animated series, I miss the UC series!
  2. ...and he too has a hammer....a sledgeHAMMER! No joke, he actually does.
  3. The ROTF Starscream is a significant improvement over the TF1 version, so I imagine the Leader version will be even better.
  4. It's already started; check out DC's direct to DVD animated movies.
  5. New Game Images So...is Skywarp an F-16 or F/A-18? The fins near the top confused me.
  6. I think it's a D or E model...whichever model the Navy used in Vietnam....Jason of Admiral Toys is basing the 1st release off of the Skyraider his father flew in Vietnam while in the Navy. 1st color scheme for F-14A is said to be VF-84 Jolly Rogers. If they do a high viz 70's CAG VF-1 Wolfpack.....oh man..
  7. I for one love this color scheme though..maybe not TV accurate but close enough for me, I love the combo of dark grey and bright yellow!
  8. The Double Nuts would be better with blue trim, like Max's DYRL VF-1A/S. It would be a good opposite to the Bird of Prey and go beyond just looking like a regular YF-19 with white instead of tan and faded black instead of black trim.
  9. Oh god that wins! Darker than TV but WHO CARES THAT IS AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!
  10. Retractable landing gear that resembles the VF100's landing gear(looks "just right", not too long like the 1/72 model).
  11. Are the kites tampo printed on?
  12. Yes, years back, around 2002 or so.
  13. Could be that Yamato has the Macross 7 license for toys, but Bandai has the Macross 7 and all other licenses for 1/48 kits. It could also explain why Yamato isn't doing much with their VF-1 in 1/48, and concentrating much of their efforts on their 1/60 lines.
  14. I remember that Playmates was very fond of using the V-crotch. Did not work well at all with their smaller Superhuman Samurai Cybersquad figures, and was terrible, possibly at it's worst with the Ronin Warriors figures. For an anime with the most athletic samurai I've seen onscreen, it's a shame that the figures could not even come anywhere close to replicating the poses we saw onscreen. No, instead we got that damn "DAO JI!" spring attack. Every punch I tried making my figures do wound up looking like a curled up bitch slap. Every kick ended up looking like a knee jerk. All I wanted to do was to be able to pose the damn things in attacking poses! Takara made them first? That's a surprise, I didn't know that. I'd expect better from them, even back then.
  15. This line is going to destroy the old Playmates line.
  16. More Info Here! Oh man.....I wasn't expecting to see new Samurai Troopers Yoroiden AKA RONIN WARRIORS figures anytime soon! It was one of those toylines that I wished for but didn't exactly think would happen. Thank goodness it's going to! The Playmates figures from back in the day are inadequate and disappointing. Their redeeming factor now is their removable armor, and that's it. Bandai is going to show them how it should have been done in the first place. I loved this series growing up, and now we'll finally get a worthy toyline out of it!
  17. Possible, both were listed as delayed as opposed to cancelled.
  18. MTS lists it as a J-11(SU-27UKB). Some members are surprised that these variants have been picked, but I can see why these choices were made. JSI is a Hong Kong based country, so a Chinese Flanker variant doesn't surprise me. This company does not want to overlap other companies by having the same aircraft, which is GREAT because that means every plane they do will be unique to them and keep the market fresh. Call me crazy but I want to see an F-8 Crusader, A-6 Intruder, A-4 Aggressor Skyhawk, F-16XL and F-105 Thunderchief. THUD FTW!
  19. Is that why Yamato is opting for the Bird of Prey/Double Nuts paint schemes instead of a VF-19A Ravens scheme for their 1/60 YF-19?
  20. Pics of the Flanker at earliest won't be until later this year, maybe at SDCC. Price I imagine would be between $150-200, maybe over as the Flanker is bigger than all of the other current, and future 1/18 scale jets. Earliest release I imagine will be Fall or Winter, more realistically I think we are looking at early Spring next year. Man...I want one in that damn demo SU-30 colors that Sukhoi parades all over the place...the one with black, white, and grey swirls. * BAH ! Disregard, pics are up NOW!* Attaching here for those of you who are TFW2005/HISS members but cannot use the same login/password at Toy Ark: HOLY SHI* A STRIKE EAGLE!
  21. Legends DEVASTATOR trumps the Supreme sized, 2X supreme priced Devastator.
  22. 1/18 scale SU-27 Flanker & F-15 Eagle Under Consideration Late this year, or early next. This matches up with the F-15 rumor earlier this year. An F/A-18 was rumored at the same time the Eagle was, however this time around, the F-15 and SU-27 are the newest announcements.
  23. I imagine the next releases for Macross Zero would be Shin's VF-0A sans Ghost, anime accurate tan VF-0A, GPB-1-esque armor that was on Roy's VF-0S, both bundled and sold alone. I'd really like to see smaller boxes for these too, so we could definitely tell for sure that they are different from the previous solo problem-prone releases. Maybe have the wings swept back a bit, with the missles underneath the fighter in a row, length-wise. That would make for a much slimmer box, and kill high shipping costs. It also has the indirect effect of being in simmilar box size to the v2 1/60 VF-1 and VF-11 releases.
  24. I love planes..so MP seekers are the best to me. I only wish they make a MP Jetfire that turns into a Tomcat, primarily because I want a transforming F-14 Tomcat. Yeah I know you guys want cartoon accurate Skyfire, and I'd buy one too, but F-14's RULE!
