  1. I haven't picked it up but it does look good. He and Rex look to be the best of the recent SWTFs. Best hands down is still Death Star Vader.
  2. Hey ff95gj, how limited is the articulation/range of motion in battroid mode? Also, can the head with neck extension be retracted all the way in fighter mode? I don't mind if it's popped out a little bit, just long as it can stay on in fighter mode(I don't like swapping pieces so as much as possible, I keep everything on).
  3. I've noticed that all images of this that I've seen in the past few days in battroid mode do not show it with the crotch piece dislodged from underneath the cockpit(to enable the waist to swivel). I think this is because the weight of the armor would dislodge the crotch lock immediately.
  4. Art of Fighting 1 and 3, the latter especially seems like an incomplete game.
  5. Puzzles me why no one has made highly articulate figures of Nono from Diebuster or a diecast version of Dix Neuf.
  6. This^^^^^^.... ...and that^^^ The hip armor might be more secure but it looks like it might be compromised to do so. For example, it looks like it clips not only from the sides, but from the front, but lacks the moving flap to enable forward articulation below the intake.
  7. Hey much is EMS shipping to the USA for the Armored Messiah?
  8. The way the movie ends, it'd be weird if they didn't make a sequel.
  9. 2 guys I personally know of who were going to watch the movie but hated everything about it prior ended up loving it.
  10. The brown VF-1A turned out real sharp, I want one!
  11. These look awesome. Are they toys or kits?

  13. If the movie adaptation comic is as accurate as I hope it is, there is a neat revelation regarding Storm Shadow/Snake Eyes that ties into the Marvel comics..... The figures have turned out to be surprisingly good, the main problem being the vehicles sans Steel Crusher and alpha vehicles, being far too small.
  14. With me, I love the 1/55's. Something about the design that I grew up with keeps me coming back. After I got my 1/48, I decided not to get any other Valk toy. That didn't last long. I ended up regretting that I missed out on the 2002 reissues, and jumped at the chance to get the VF-1J Hikaru when the Origin of Valkyrie line was released last year. Still disappointed that it seems dead. For it's time it was revolutionary, and even now, outside of Macross, it is still better than many transforming jet toys of today. For a Macross toy, it's durability and sturdiness remains unmatched. Sure it's not the most accurate VF-1 toy out there, but I love the look of it. Even if Bandai retooled it to have missles that can be attached while still in battroid mode with wings swept back, ball jointed, or universal hip joints, and a place to store the gun in fighter mode, I would be happy. It's a great toy. Usually the 1st toys of an anime series from decades past tend to suck. Yet the 1/55 VF-1 is a far cry from many of it's competitors 20+years ago, and even compared to some toys of today.
  15. None, it was all BS. He wasn't lying, it actually did test well.
  16. Same here, all the etailers keep bumping up listing revised list dates that inevitably keep getting pushed back. It's not their fault, I wonder what the hold up is with Toynami.
  17. Oh I know it's a deluxe, Hasbro has said at the panels that the armor is compatible with both deluxe and voyager Primes. They said this a few months back and reaffirmed it at SDCC.
  18. The figures with full articulation(Batman, Major Force, Superman) in the Target exclusive, 3-3/4" Infinite Heroes line look good, it's about time Mattel started catching up with Marvel.

  20. He has the best sculpt of all the Animated Primes IMHO, it's just that the figure seems to ambitious for what it is. The automorph gimmick works awesome on paper, but in execution mismorphs on my figure. The loose joints that I had to tighten via moving while having super glue dry around them were disappointing. I for one, LOVE the weaponry, I didn't care that the axe wasn't show accurate, it made the voyager figure unique to me, and I appreciated the unique axe, except for the fact that the figure could not be posed holding the axe in one hand in a dynamic position, since the weight of the axe would immediately swivel the biceps/arms downward. Not until I did my fix. The knee articulation could have been better too. I do dig the sculpt, unique weaponry, and face gimmick, but overall, there are much better voyagers in the line. Typically, the bigger "main" Optimus figure tends to be the best figure in any TF line, with Animated being one of the rare exceptions.
  21. Better/different. This new one has ball jointed shoulders/elbows/knees/ankles.
  22. RESOLUTE Snake Eyes To Be Released In Movie Line! HELL YEAH! Known in the movie line as City Strike Snake Eyes. I don't give a damn about the packaging, I want this figure!
