Note that the image that David linked for the REAL LIFE VF-84 Tomcat lacks the spots. The one I was pushing for was VF-2 Bounty Hunters w/LANTIRN AND JDAMs. Both the CAG bird and the low viz versions ruled.

Special edition is out now, and it's got SPOTS all over it as an attempt at "weathering". Also a light up TCS(!!!?) in RED. VSD/HSDI/radar screens light up in BLUE. Yes BLUE. Production model ships out in 2 days and bad cat toys has said that it's significantly less spottier. Hopefully. In any case look to the past. 21st F-86F=NO WEATHERING, yet absolutely beautiful. It's a MIG Alley bird mind you, so if anything would be weathered, that'd be it. It's enough having an inaccurate VF-84 paint scheme on a late block F-14A that never had it but to have spotty weathering at that? Wow...

Got the 1st season, almost done and love it. I've started to collect more of the toys and it's been an enjoyably experience. I'm beginning to think that Star Wars lends itself better to television than to movies. I like this series better than the prequel trilogy. I'm glad to see more focus on the various clones and Jedis. Definitely cool seeing the Y-wing in action, and the series to me is much better than the animated movie from last year. Some of my favorite episodes include Rookies, the Y-Wing assault on Malevolance episode, and the Talz episode. Can't forgot the Kit Fisto episode where he takes on Grievous and Nahdar Vebb dies, and the episode with Luminara and Ahsoka VS Ventress. Now, if only Hasbro will finally tool up super articulated versions of Ventress, Plo Koon, Mace Windu, Kit Fisto, Grievous, the regular battle droids, and of course, Ahsoka! She's 2 joints(ball elbows) away from being super articulated! I don't care if her forearms will look bigger and "break the sculpt" like adventure Padme(the one with the grapple launcher)! Yep Japanese box, this was when the Japanese release was relatively new, from what I remember it had something to do with an online order and got shipped to the store for some reason, where a fan came across it, asked for a price, and promptly bought it.

The loose parts, especially the shoulders and limp hands irritate me.

The improvements on the fighter mode for the VF-27(superior to the VF-25) look great but honestly, the bulk of my complaints for the DX VF-25 were from the gerwalk and battroid modes. The lack of thigh swivel is addressed on the VF-27, but what about the limp wrists, and shoulders not moving independently of the shoulder armor much? The arms look better on the VF100's and plamo kits because they can move independently of the shoulder armor, not so on the DX. Hopefully, that and the limp wrists are rectified on the 27, the thigh swivel is a great addition.

I found an AT TE at TJ Maxx for $50 and picked it up before Black Friday. Glad I did, because the ones that were left are probably gone now. Not sure if mine has the old legs, but so far there is no sagging. I like it, wanted it even more after seeing the Malevolance episodes from Clone Wars. I like it's features but feel like more of the internal space could have been used up for more play features. I wish it had more play features instead of electronics. I love how there are multiple places to store the Clone weapons. Anyone have both the AT TE and Turbo Tank? If so, which is better in your opinion? Not sure if I will pick up the Crumb Bomber at TRU. Heard that the doors are actually flimsy too.
