  1. Now if only the Protect Armor makes it out this year so we can make Rodimus Prime!
  2. How about the guns?
  3. It does, listings were 1st reported in their computers: http://www.tfw2005.com/transformers-news/g...-system-169339/
  4. Toy-wise you are correct and the paint is a bit different in tone(reds). As for the movie..don't know if both toys are entirely accurate.
  5. 6" figures are set for later in spring but I'm not sure which month. The 6" suitcase armor looks BAD ASS, way better than the smaller version: http://www.toyark.com/news/marvel-toy-news...ase-armor-2464/
  6. Fall 2010 exclusively @TRU
  7. Graham, will the YF-21 reissue come with the guns?
  8. Graham, did Yamato ever say if the next runs of the GPB VF-1J armored sets would have the "fixed" shoulders? Cyclone Trooper's pics show that there is no knurling.
  9. Yes, price all around is $6.96 at Walmart, $6.99 at Target/TRU. TRU has slashes prices on other Hasbro lines too, figures for Star Wars, GI Joe, and Marvel Universe are now $6.99 too. Kmart has IM2 figures for $8.99.
  10. Can the 1/60 21 mount the guns on in fighter mode without the FAST packs?
  11. Clone Wars Hyena Bomber Revealed
  12. Iron Man 2 6in Mark V Suitcase Armor - Toyark News With the appearance of the Mark V there's got to be another figure to complete the wave(presumably this is part of wave 2 of the 6" Walmart exclusives).
  13. New 6" figures will be available exclusively from Walmart. However, there is a new 6" figure 3 pack coming to TRU as an exclusive set as well, this one has repaints from the 1st line while the Walmart figures are all new.
  14. The cycle I believe is pushed back until later fall. I think alpha vehicle wave 2 or 3. New Pursuit Of Cobra Bravo Cobra Fury With Alley Viper Officer Images - GI Joe News Unreleased Pursuit Of Cobra Arctic Threat Duke Review - GI Joe News
  15. Nick Fury Goes GI Joe - GI Joe News Iron Man 2 Power Up Glow Mark VI Armor Revealed - Toyark News New Iron Man 2 Movie Series Figures Revealed - Toyark News Iron Man 2 Movie Series War Machine Variant Found - Toyark News I have both movie series wave 1 and comic series wave 1. Great line so far, and I am looking forward to Silver Centurion in the summer! The prototype has bicep swivels, ab crunch(I think) AND double jointed elbows! That's pretty close to Marvel Legends style articulation!
  16. Are they releasing a Blazer and if so, when?
  17. I too, like the translucent effects, they are very well done on comic series War Machine. I agree with what you said about comic War Machine's shoulder pads; the movie series version has pads that function the same way. The drawback is how the pads look when up, but the advantage is that they aren't prone to popping off like on the mk II/III armors. Iron Monger is a good figure. Has nice heft. The articulation is good for a big figure too. One reason some fans prefer him to the 2nd version from the 1st line, is that this one features an articulated head. The paint job is subtle, I didn't even notice that he actually has some blue paint apps until someone else pointed it out to me. It's done pretty well. Also, this one has ball jointed hands which makes for some cool poses. Sure it might not be to scale with the other figures, but it's decent. The paint apps definitely make it pop out more than the 1st movie versions.
  18. Anyone else buying the new Iron Man 2 toys? The street date is 3/1, but some stores have been putting these figures out on shelves early. I got my hands on them and I have to say, I never thought a Marvel Universe Iron Man figure would be outdone by one from this line, but it's happened. The classic armor outdoes the Marvel Universe version pretty bad, surprisingly. I want the red/gold retool WITH the Ditko pointy mask. I got the movie version of War Machine recently and reviewed it: Iron Man 2 Movie War Machine Reviewed I think it's a great figure. I LOVE how unlike Rise of Cobra, Hasbro is making waves for both movie, AND comic characters! This is how it should always be done. Picking one over the other misses out on potential sales. Anyways, there are more comic armors to be released this year, including comic Iron Monger, Silver Centurion Armor, Vault Guardsmen, Titanium Man, modern armor, et al. Recon armor and Silver Centurion are nearing Marvel Legends articulation, as the prototypes have an ab crunch in addition to waist swivel, AND double jointed elbows! Let's hope they make it to final production that way too.
  19. Looks like it outdoes the Toynami in every way.
  20. Ace Combat X2 Joint Assault Trailer | IshTalkers DO WANT! Love Ace Combat X, and I have a feeling Joint Assault will be a better game.
  21. My 1S Focker had no crack on one of the arms until a few months later. I think it's better to "fix" it now rather than wait for it to happen(on knurled hinge releases).
  22. For a long time, I thought Skystalker would fit into the gap between Mindwipe's wingtips towards the back. Still going to try it out once I find both. Cool that Jetfire can flip the way shown above! What do you think of Mindwipe eriku, quality wise? I got the new deluxes(Brawn, Ratchet, Lockdown), and they are AWESOME. I think the 2010 deluxes are better than the 2009 versions. Ratchet I wanted because I like movie Ratchet and wanted to see a new mold for him. Don't know if I like him more than the TF1 voyager(which even though it shelf warmed, was one of the best voyagers in the line IMHO, and a sleeper hit), but the articulation is considerably better, and it is fun to pose. Also wanted him and Lockdown because of the homage to Animated. Animated Lockdown was one of the most overrated deluxes in the Animated line, but it did have some stellar aspects to it. However the new movie version is much better as a figure IMHO. Articulation is better, able to have more exaggerated stances. I like the sculpt, and it's one hell of a way to pay homage to a well received series. Brawn is cool. Dig the transformation, I LOVE how his guns are already in hand during transformation, so you can pretend he is already shooting Decepticons when your done transforming him.
  23. I agree Graham, I bought my VF-25S last year and the armored parts. Definitely better sans armor. Plays better without, looks better with. Mine has gotten loose over time, the shoulder ball joint for the right arm especially, and the limp wrists, and crotch lock. Hey speaking of which, you mentioned that the 27 is sufficiently tight, and locks together. Do you think the arm joints have potential to loosen up in the future? I always prefer ratchets over ball joints. Also, I too, hope Bandai will make a v2 VF-25 with all the improvements over the 27. Something tells me they made those improvements with the intent of making renewal versions of the 25's in the future with the improved joints.
  24. Well..they did "fix" the arm range of motion I was disappointed with on the VF-25:
