  1. Whoa many thanks man! Turns out my custom F-22 for my custom Slipstream figure turned out somewhat accurate with sticker placement! What kind of gray is used for the surface edges?
  2. I have a feeling it will be of great quality, and a huge step over the Toynami 1/100's(mine have busted polycaps). If the shoulders and integral parts needed for transformation are made of diecast, it should be pretty sturdy.
  3. BTW can anyone tell me where I can get good images for F-22 paint schemes? Isometric or combinations of views would help. I've customized 2 of the True Heroes F-22's for my GI Joe figures, and plan on customizing more. The 1st 2 were with stickers only but for the next ones, I want to dwelve into paint.
  4. The book never said if the bodies were recovered. Forgot if it said MIA or KIA.
  5. Depends, if it is the anniversary plus version with the pen light, yours should be okay. Yes that price is a good deal.
  6. Hopefully we can get a anime-accurate CF VF-0A, I thought it looked cool(though I prefer the gray normal release).
  7. Might be up for this too.
  8. I think what he is trying to get at is that Yamato can't legally cater to our market due to the HG/BW licensing stuff, and that our market is different than Japan's. I'd love to buy a mold accurate, TV Qrau, but it's obvious from Yamato, Bandai, and releases by other companies in Japan, that DYRL? is favored over the TV series. Also, unless the economic situation gets better in Japan, and labor costs in China decrease(which is the opposite of what's currently happening), I think a Valkyrie will always win over an enemy mecha when it comes to what item any given toy company in Japan decides to work on. In fact I think there is a higher chance of a TV Qrau in a 1/100 Bandai line to complement the VF HI METAL line, over a new 1/60 Yamato versions, but even so, I think chances for a 1/100 Qrau are slim at this point too.
  9. There are some confirmed breakages of the 1J Hikaru. If the samples are like yours, fortunately for you, un-broken, then the toy is great. Having a broken hinge is not fun at all. Broken hinges tarnish the awesomeness of the V2 1/60 VF-1.
  10. A while back there was a thread about premium VF-1's with more paint and whatnot, and I suggested that a TV VF-1S Focker Special should be made WITH an optional Hikaru figure. TV hands and weathering would be cool too.
  11. This Ironhide seems worth picking up, hope the articulation is good: http://www.tfw2005.com/transformers-news/t...-review-169460/
  12. And weapons too! He is will come with new weapons so it won't feel like buying a blue version of Peg.
  13. Yes. My GFFMC RX-78+G Fighter set has ink from the panel lines that is easily rubbed off and pretty much tainted the clean look of the parts. The ink was sticky on the PVC parts, and did not stay well on either the PVC nor ABS parts. Deco issues aside, their 1st MSiA! RX-78 had loose limbs. I think a secondary coat to cover the prints might work on the DX Macross toys.
  14. The Beta I can deal with but I'm clinging onto hope that some company eventually does the Legioss justice with a great modernized toy. Both the CM's Legioss and Toynami Alpha MPC are disappointing to me.
  15. Unfortunately the tampo on the DX's will scratch off. The SMS markings on my super armor and 25S have turned into unreadable letters or what little is left of the "SMS" prints. I LOVE the gloss finish but I wish a secondary finish was applied atop of the paint apps.
  16. I'd love to see a PV SD-style VF-1 toy.
  17. Beautiful toy
  18. I LOVE how the backpack in fighter mode is significantly bigger/wider compared to the Toynami 1/100. The small pack on the Toynami 1/100 killed the look in fighter mode for me.
  19. It's weird too, every time I check BBTS, the Super Hikaru/Max are still up for preorder but the ship date constantly gets pushed back. This was as recent as a month ago. Still clinging hope for a VF-1D.
  20. I honestly think that the "new features/improvements" seen on the DX VF-27 was their design team's way of testing out changes for inevitable use on a renewal DX VF-25(s). I just hope that if the design team does indeed make a 2.0, that the Tornado and heavy armor from the previous releases will still be compatible.
  21. Cool, thanks for the tip, hope this works on the wrist ball joints too!
  22. Anyone else notice that the silhouette of the PAK FA from the top resembles the GI Joe Thunderwing?
