  1. We mean either a lot r a fair margin....graham dont get his fan input frm the japanese he gets it from us. THing is with the licensing bs they cant really do anything for us yet.
  2. HEY hes being daring yet delicate!
  3. Chunky LOVE!!!!! Oh man a Cf never looked better! The 1.55...indestructible rod of damage and toy pleasure. sich exquisiteness.
  4. more more!! come one bring on some chunky monkey bandais boys!
  5. and 1/100 scale -=USUALLY small and AFFORDABLE=less money to develop an manufacture compared tio a big perfect transformation
  6. sweet conrtest with a SWEET prize. I thinmk im entering!
  7. Yamato could make the CF a limited edition like the low viz. Limited editions sell pretty well IMHO. At least in yamatos case tey do. Look at the low viz. Although I must sya I would rather have a LOW viz Vf-1J with different paint variations.
  8. I think a VF-4 is more likely then a 1/48 macross plus toy. NOw a low viz with the inverted black skull would be AWESOME. Also if it was a VF-1J and had a grey chest stripe/
  9. no need for the sarcasm man. I got your point now whether the mods see it fit to lock is up to them.
  10. David thats awesome., cnat believe they added the thud. One of myfav planes. I think tbey got a crusader too? If so even more awesome. i am so GLAD to here about the flight modeling. I wasnt expecting much but I think it may clearly defeat ac4s.
  11. I ma pretty sure yamato makes more money from japan rather than us alone. Tey are still the target market. And etailers get their stuff from distributors in japan who buy the toys for them. I think a 1/48 VF-3000 would be excellent.
  12. and once again no need to MOD me if you are not a mod. I realize there is another thread about this but not this specifically. Did the other thread mention a 1/100 line? NO it didnt. This is all about a continuation of the scale started by the macross 0 series coming in may. A continuation of scale with advanced valkyrie.
  13. Hey Guys. Someone just posted about the Advanced Vaolkyrie models. I was thinking....what if yamato made them in 1/100 scale...ya klnow in scale with the new macross 0 stuff coming in may. I am not sure if the designs themselves are extre -mely popular but they DO seem very interesting. I myself LOVE the VF-3000. Perhaps they could use swap out transformation and be made of the smae stuff the Vf-0 wil be made of just to keep the line cheap. Since some of these valks made it into Macross M3 on dreamcast, perhaps each set or release could incorporate the following features. -"common" chasis/fueselage.....aka. ...Since the deesigns changed one way or another since 1985 to m3, have one main fuesealage component and have places to swap out the parts that changed...ie like the old part can be swapped out with the new parts stuff like that. -pilot -stand. -very simple transformation and added cut joints to assume poses that the K n M figures can assume. -Glossy photobooklet with design history of Advanced Valkyrie series. So I do wonder...I remember hearibng somewhere that Yamato was interested in making a VF-3o00 before..and with a 1/100 simple transformation line...tehy can -make a VF-4 and Vf-3000 in 1/100 scale and with relatively LITTLE financial risk compared to making perfect variable versions of the 2 in a 1/48 scale.(in case they dont know if they would sell well) -make a line that is vast and in scale with the VF-0 macross 0 line and destroids. so what do you all think?
  14. a banda dx 1/65 based YF19 MPC sculpt? Hell no man that would look ugly as sin.
  15. doubt it. Yamato wouldnt have put out the qrau DYRL if there were the case(hg selling new siupersuackable DYRL)
  16. geesus christ even the BACKPACK survived! wow man I always preached about how durable it was and how everyone was havin heart atacks over nothing but man dude i guess youers was really the test of time man.
  17. Ya know yamato shows absolutely no signs of stopping no matter how it seems it may not b that popular in japan. I wouldnt even worry man. Bear in mind they actually make quality products that SELL(yea toynami try n do that with your VF-1s) So dont worry dude they actyally havbe the balls to do enemy mecha and hell they even beat bandai in the sales market. SO I say yamato is doing good. Bear in mind they are doing toys noone has even bothered to do before and that there says t me they got balls bein that they are a small company and all.
  18. aw samn it...well I noticed half the ball was rough looking rather than smooth after sanding. oh well its not terribly 1/60 or MPC vol1 loose but still has enough give. so its okay.
  19. awesome sees gruesome which is cool. to tide us over check out my new darth maul painting. It was practice digital painting in photshop the only tool used was the brush tool.
  20. dude yamato cant sell here domestically remembner? we only get yamato macross because etailers carry them.
  21. heinrad KICKS! looks like i gotta snag one to acompany big convoy and crew back home. I like the fact that heinrad is such a unique design and someone at takara had the balls to sell the bastard.
  22. whoa awesome dude./ If its your first one jsut remember not to push the backpack up anymore than it can go in battroid mode. AWESOME price and find! I been itching to get a low viz(damn it college tuition freaking SUCKS) but for now I gotta stik to my sole 1/48 Vf-1S hikaru. I really hopen yamato realizes the low viz kicks mucho ass and makes another low viz(not the same one but mayube VF-1J with paint variation) CONGRADULATIONS and have fun with your toy! that price absolutely kicks ass.
  23. YA know I too think the qrau is a bit overpriced. When I saw that ad posted I was in shock. LIKe HOLY crap shin can get a Vf-1J with armor for almost 40$ LESS THan what it is now! For a minute there I thought the yen dropped and heaven occured. BUt as always my hopes weere up way to high. I did read tbhrough some of the arguments in this thread and end up lost. BUt I do think the qrau is overpriced. NOt overyly overpriiced like the MPC series but overpriced nonetheless. It is a figure that does no transform and is made of plastic. Its got size going for it and I definitely love how its so big compared even to a 1/48. I think a 90$ price is more reasonable however as it turns out, som of you even bought it for that much and were still dissapointed. The `/48 is more reasonably priced I believe because its got so much more than being a poseable action figure. The engineering and such amazes me to this day and while I will always say it was worth it, I would not mnind paying LESS for it. NOw that is something we can ALL agree on right? Paying less for something we want? savbes us money and we get stuff cheaper. course this will most likely not happen unless yamato becomes extremely rich and does not need as much money. BUt ya know I looked at the bandai reissue yen prices and they were the smae as the 1/60 prices in japan. I suppose this is because bandai wanted to compete agqaintst the 1/60 market. but in the 80s, the prices were much cheaper. anyways markups SUCK and some of us feeling robbed is inevitable. I just read hayaos post on why the qrau is being sold a lot less than markup in hong kong. Bear in mind people yamato does not deal directly with hong kong, only japan. So over there its like having their version of valkyrie exchange only a walk in store rather than order online.or both?
  24. dude i think you did the right thing I jsut find it hilarious you said TRavel bags! LOL ah well what can you do man. Its beter than telling him what those things really were
  25. is it confirmed that xbox will get svc chaos and sf3? in USA?
