why dont we design a way better super poseable than them as a resin kit, one of the casters here casts it, and a few of us SELL it across from the camp at AX! That would piss them off! yep thAts an arrestor hook. UNlike the VF-1, teh VF-0 uses conveontionallyu placed tailhooks. BTW maybe this is too small for tampo printing? Lets hope it comes prepanellined!

true dat the bandais are much cheaperand higher quality anyways. MPCs got "ass in teh air" rear fueselage where as bandai is like old school 80s teen fighter. Bandais dont need no damn magnets to keep legs up no, they got TIGHT ASS RATCHETS. MPC dont got ratchets like that..hell they aint even reinforced by springs! So MPC is a floppy mess. MPC and 1/60 aint evben clsoe to the 1/48. u can do without 1/60. go 1/48 and bandai. truly the alpha and the omega...wait alpha=bandai u get the point. start with the original end with the beaast i mean best. and once again NO the 1/.48 is not FRAGILE PER SE! the 1/60 and MPC will BREAK before youre 1/48! the only thing to watch oyut for is backpack and thats it. dont push it farhter than it can go. jsut use common sense. One member had his displayed with them heavy ass fast packs and it fell 8 ft. NOTHING BROKE. so its not like one fall go bye bye. i think teh MPC is in that category. one more thing the 1/48 IS A TOY. Whoever says its a prebuilt model hasnt handled it enough and is too scared to try.

yes but wouldnt that mean the legs would be placed lower? BY nose I mean randome....I initially thought the whole front cockpit would be swapped out. I guess we will find out in a few months.

perhaps there IS no nose swapping! please look at the attached image! NOtice that the heatshield is barely hanging and is not connected to the chestplate?( it is but its hanging)... also notice -underneath there appears to be a CLEAR canopy -nose in fighter mode looks to be the same legnth as in battroid -plug ins for leg joints are not too apparent on battroid mode...perhaps a plate is used to clip to the underside of the VF-0s nose in battrouid...a plate with raised ball joints that are cconnected to the legs....in this way the plate merely clips onto the underside of nose in battroid and clicls into place under chest plate in fighter.

isnt banpresto a much smaller scale thogu? IN scale the Vf-0 is taller than the VF-1 by a cuple meters. A 1/100 bandai is up to the leg of a 1/55 bandai./ Therefore a 1./100 VF-0 would be close to the chest plate of a 1/55 chunky monkey.

well robotech MPC toys have inconcisstent quality..although its widely known the max and later versions ar ethe best MPCs its also commonly known that not all of them are actually good quality...its sporadicv but i even heard of a miriya with no magnets. THe 1/48 is AWESOME. I feel you can do without the 1/60...it will providde more dissapoint ment later on. It gets loose aroung the hipds and they begin to fall off if you turn him siideways. Also the landing gear get loose too. 1 1/48 may= 2 1/60s but hell id rather have 1 1/48 instead of 10 1/60s. also please dont believe the paranoid fans who have heart atacks transforming the 1.48...if anything the only thing more durable is a bandai...and YES it is more durable than a MPC. i have 1 of each type i would know and i PLAY with mine a LOT.

you kniow...with a cheaper price and softgoods for material.....as well as the relatively small size(not that small...may be up to the 1/55 chunky monkeys chestplate) MAYBE yamato can turn this into a macross fix line by adding VFERR variants! damn it biout time we got kick ass variants~! graham, is the nose portion for battroid the only shortened area? and the same legnrth fueselage compared with fighter mode? If so I have become ambitious. Maybe one of the customizers can help bUt I hav an idea to make this thing evben MORE of a simple transformation get fighter mode nose -drill a hole where the hip joints would meet(easy since this is PVC) -when transforming instead of swapping noses, there is no swapping -simply plug leg joints into nose. VOILA! of course then again this may not work if the nose is not the only part shortened.

nope they wouldnt. It seems like 25% of the fans here wouldnt buy this while 75% would. Remember improvements come because of COMPLAINTS not praise! you think if we all said yamato was god and worshipped them when the YF19 came out that tab B would not be improved? heck no! criticism is needed. And like i said previous times in this thread the criticism is deserved to me in this case. I mena the landing gear to me needs work and the hips. and again I really think yamato could care less if we are impossible to please...they aint trying to make friends here they trying to make MONEY,. and for everyone o us that com,p-lains 10 will buy. and for every complaint we have, a few fixes make it into the next variant to shut us up. its business people not friendship. Yamato has no emotions to worry about, just profit. oh and as it seems , a lot of people already want this toy.

graham that sucks. Why is yamato stonwwalling on giving you a sample? I mean the japanese only make a fit when we preview stuff early right? IF you sample it and release the review the day of release that is fair aint it? Graham can you ask them how long the fighter mode is? I hope it is as long as the VF1B and if SO....crap for 40$ this is kind of big. Do you guys realize a SV-51 would be MUCH largeer? drrooollll Also graham have yamato released an ETA for the VF-0D?

being that tjhis thing is small and relatively cheap as well as being mostly PVC. this will be easy for most customizers to work into. So I beta week after release jung or someone will post a masterpiece of a custom out of this 1/100 toy. I see a fleet coming.

nope barely anyone complained when the 1/48 came out. there wasnt that many arguments AGAINST it. THe only thing that got people mad on the 1/48 were the price and the chest and arms hanging low in fighter mode i believe. The majority of us liked it. NOw the 1/60 however, that drew MUCH criticism upon release. It was a war between 1/55 chunky lovers vs neo age 1/60 fans. So NO again we do NOT bitch about everything that comes out. And as you can see the only reason a lot of people dont like this is because 1-its small 2- its simple transformation Of course I view it as toycrack since its relatively cheap. I onyl wish it was cheaper. That and the front gear loooked better. I think the battroid mode looks awesome but I really want to se the relative size compared to something like the F11B faast pack toy yamato put out. I cant recall but did anyone ever list the actual height or legnth of the toy?

hey pare I doubt they will stop at a 1/100. This is yamato we talking about. Watch right before xmas they pull off a perfect variable VF-0.(come on this is yamato compared to the Vf-1, the VF-0 design would be relatively EASY to pull off...transformation is a breather compared to what they had to go through to make the 1/48 work imho). Yamato has shown that they like big perfect variable toys in the past. With macross 0 fresh and new I think its a given we will get a VF-0 later on. I think the only reason they didnt riht now is because they want a cheap version everyone can affored and then x mas season pull off one the hardcore fans woujld want and afford. BTW remember imode talkin about destroids for the 0 line? The feet loook like destroid feet.
