ID have to saay india is more of a threat. They buy mostly soviet made aircraft so if anything, they ar emore likely to jummp ship and side with russia on some anti us stuff. Sorry buddy it ain't. I got 2 MPC's, 1 1/60, a bandai reissue hikaru, JETFIRE g1, and 1 1/48. I can say for certain the G1 Jetfire who is old as I am(20) bought 2ND hand in playhed with condition, is a higher quality then the MPC. MY rick MPC has loose thighs. Real loose. The plastic on the feet is wearing down and I did not notice till i realized thart the feet were PAINTED not molded in grey! My g1 jetfire again which is 20 yrs old has MUCH MUCH TIGHTER LEG RATCHETS. So tight the damnn thing never needed any magnets whatsoever. Same goes for my bandai reissue. Does my rickj MPC whichn i bought brand new do? hell no it dont. My Ben MPC is much better than rick but the quality is inconsistent. that aint a freaking biased remark thats the freakin TRUTH. Quality is inconsistent. Thats the TRUTH. bear in mind I do enjoy my MPCs but I will call any product out on whats wrong. 1/60 has loose hips too but with that its swap transformation and hell i got my 1/48 so i pretty much leave 160 just to display. bandai has BEST quality out of all even the 1/48. Durable and once again TIGHT ratchets. this is thr TRUTH not no biased remarks n crap. You cant tell me the MOPC is more durable or just as durable as the bandai kuz it aint. Its just not. dont even call me an MPC basher kuz I too rank it above the 1/60 in PLAYABILITY. 1/48 and 1/55 are FAR FAR superior. How can they be inferior? that aint biased thats IMPOSSIBLE

how are they negative? the MPC IS the lowest quality VF-1 toy. yea kawamori started with robot mode first. this is documented in many of his early interviews. Initially from what i understnad influence was F-18 and F-111. It really shows through size(f-18) and nose/swing wing(f-111)

i thinkit was popular on its own aside from jetfire. Jetfire only broadened its lgacy to mainstream america. I think robotech fans who loved macross must have realized that jetfire was based on a macross mold and it led them to the 1.55 maxcross toys...jetfire may have been a gateway toy but i know that the super valk was known to have been sold in europe. 90 reissue that is so maybe othjeres were sold there before?

hey dude what do you mean by drop the ball? What does that mean? anyhoo. It now seems that us 1/55 lovers are of a cult following. Our beloved line has been a victim of bad marketing. I think. I think all i can ask for is HCM< reissues, and the final 3 DYRL 1/55 reissues. but other than that. I mean its still something I will ALWAYS cherish and enjoy. 1/55 is awesome.

hmmmmm . 10 yrs? I am sure they can't rely on gundam alone for one bigass line for 2 years. MSIa is only what like 2-4 years? and things are dragging down for that. I might buy up an arch enemies gundam so I don't know about HCM pro. Id rather have a 12 inch DX Rx-78 with g fighter combo set. hail yea. anyways lets hop[e HCM pro is a smaller scale HCM 2 line with vifam, MACROSS, and some other suff. BTW NYU gundam would be bigger in HCM pro scale . lets hope iof an HCM pro macross toy comes out, it is at leas 1/100 or 1/72 scale and with a little diecast. Its bandai we KNOW they can pull off perfect transformartion too.

i am an advocate for criticising. I do it alll the time. HOwever I think its a bit unfair to call someonesdesigns stupid and such when some of you don't know what the purpose of the toys were. Sure armada sucks to us. NO biggie thats why we got alternators. Like i said energon and armada aint our line. Believe it or not the big armada prime sold real well during its run in toy stores and especially in x mas. Its hard to beleive because hwe is clearly less collector appealing to us than fire convoy but that sthe thing a lot of us easily forget... fire convoy was MADE to appeal to us since takara was in a financial bind and needed some cash...so they got the collectors in and threw em a bone with car influences from diaclone. armada was made to appeal simply to kids. we did not factor at all in its creation. Armada was made to sell well to kids and thats exactly what it is doing. whether its a failure to us(it was) or not it dont matter. it wasnt a failure to kids. you cant say "oh shin mny boy thinks its stupid" tell the sales figures that. it wont matter. for every kid that thinks its stupid ther is 20 to say armada prime is cool. these are kids NOT us. Armada prime and energon megatron are not exampls of laziness but examples that clearly show this toy was not made for uys. SMokescreen the alternator dont got a big forkn head stikn out do he? it is the most in proportion toy. People dont realize its not a model but a TOY and are too scared too play with it. Which is wqhy i always say play with the damn thing. but thats for another topic.

naw masterpiece and alternators are the best lines since g1. Energon is cool but to me its not the best line. I think its slightly better than g2. beast wars as a whole was the best line since g1 I think before alternators and masterpiece prime. Beast wars and rid was somewhat of a camelot, superarticulation, cool characters, and gimmicks that didnt interfere with articulation. As I said before, armada did outsell rid in the states. Energon qand armada are the best selling lines in the US since beast wars. We may complain but those aint arelines, alternators is. Hasbros out to make money and judging from the success of transformers here, they will keepdoin what they will while throwing a boone to us every now n then. Alternartors however. is specifically catered to us.
