I like how its a multiroler. PLanes like ythe YF-17, TSR2, Super gator(crusader III), YF-23, A-7G, Mig 35, F-14 ST21 anmd such appeal to me since their potential was never or never got a chance to be realized. realizing what could have been kicks ass.

whoa dude link pics! Forgot what TSR2 is or looked like. Jerry mouse in AFDS is awesome howevewr. Looks like a tomcat and mig 29 mated with no swept wing. F-108 is awesome and from all accounts the avro is deemed by many as ahead of its time. Im only now warming up to the mirage family. WHile I think its cool I think the KFIR is awesome. Canards really do work wonders aesthetically. anyone get pics of the MIG-35?

David the local news back in va beach reported in 96 that the intruders retired would be placed in AZ and mothballed incase we needed thjem again. IS this the case for almost all the planes there? Id love to see the intruder and tomcat come back, a lot of people do however say the F/A-18F is better than the intruder in every which way. Why do you think shoji kawamori and and katsushirow nitow(trigun) are so reluctant to approve products at first sight? They want perfection, they want to see what THEY want and thats what they want to invoke to fans. i thought it was 130$? Its the hori flight stick pack. Its got a joystick and throttle. Semirealistic look, looks a lot more realistic than the Saitek X36 flightstick on Pc's but not as real as the F-15E old school pc stick. IF the joystick is compatible with other sim games on ps2 then I might bite but thats still a lot for me especially considering the jet games on ps2 do not vary n tbhe 10s its more of a handful. Gun kills are harder to get in AC5 then they were in 4 but not as hard as AFDS. and they actually DOGFIGHT and evade!!

lil bro got it for me this weekend and this is my observations. @low speeds, the tomcat FINALLY has wings spread!!! High speed =sweep back. See in AC4 this is not so. @300kt in AC4 the wings would be swept back already and not forward until L1 is pressed. in Ac5 this is not so and can be spread forward up until the speed gets real real high. Which to me is more realistic as well as visually appealing. now you KNOW when the cat is gonna go fqast or not. FLight modeling is definitely better. IN AC4 the tomcat does not feel big and sluggish @300 kt. IN AC5 it DOES. And the superbug is nuimble as a bi*** too bad it doesnt bleed speed a lot lke in reality. Wingmen are always faster than you and always like to steal your kills. BAstards. I tried shooting them down since they kept stealing my kills and jumping in front of me. ugh. Hopefully in the final release you can shoot them down to up the realism. Overall fun but I cant help but think since its a beta, its just a overall souped up AC4. I am sure the final will be much much better becauise as said by many others before, it really feels unfinished. I know itll be awesome though and the demo is pretty swell. -gun kills are harder to achieve and the spool is cool. Not as hard as AFDS but harder than AC4. -the AI...holy crap they actualyl try to RUN away and outmanuever you? YES!!!!!! FINALLY!!!! -the SARH guidance system is well liked. Thank god they implemented this small yet crucial touch. overall it shall rule.

BTW Air force delta storm on XBOX has a VASTLY superior plane selection and graphics engine!!! They say there is a F-14G hellcat II plane. SOmeone please post pics here of it~ I never saw it and thought it would be in strike but it unfortunately is not. Well plane selection is good in AFDStrike but we lack cool stuff like the one on xbvox like the airacobra and such.

X-32A and B are in teh game. B is VTOL and is alex' plane. Ken has the A version which is based on the mod they were originally going to do by adding a tailplane but was never made. IT also has the gun in the game unlike the B. sturmoviok and spitfire are with jaime depending on how far you get with him. THe flight suits and some CG sequences are half assed in many ways. Holst is cool so is pedro though he cannot be used. Brian matures towards the end but he is a nuisance...so sad as he is the only one representing naval strike attack.

hell gimme 1/60 just m,ake it big and if not PT then at least just MINIMAL part swapping. I could care less for landing gear anyhow and had lretracting landing gear not bveen implemented on the first YF19 toys in the first place then it wouldnt have looked as bad and we wouldnt NEED a new FP version to begin with. tsk tsk billy wong

They wouldn't be having a customer base or consumer interest problem if they would just release the shows else where like the U.S. besides just Japan. Like Cartoon Network for example... that would really broaden and increase consumer interest. I suppose all this "no release" to the U.S. has to do with licensing issues? BTW: What does "FP" stand for in the context of "YF-19FP"? How likely is it that a transformable 1/48 YF-19 toy will be released? They did an excellent job w/ the VF-1(s)... it would be a shame not to see more toys that size and w/ that kind of detail. goodness, shouldn't this be in the newbie forum?
