Hey all. Drew a valk girl real quiick in class, and now its a color WIP. I am doing an oil painting type of thing in photoshop.

david, I used the F-14D in the tunnel and beat it. Just go REAL fast when you see the shutters. BTW did you notice the D interior? its got a HUD screen!!! I thought they would be cheap and just use the existing frame from the F-14A/B but they changed it!! Even the F-4G cockpit is different a well from the F-4E. I unlocked some of the yuk color schemes. JSF and F/A-18C color scheme is decent. Pretty nice. Still navy like. F-14D SP scheme aint bad...never thought I would see thgat camo on a tomcat But david, you were SO right about the F-4G ace. UGH. Oh my god. Flower petal phantom!

I just beat it as well. Blowing up the sattelite is fun. BEcause parts fly off of it. Fun to dodge> YES I beat it with an F-14D. I LOVE how they FINALLY gave a lot of attention to it and added a seperate HUD screen for iot!!(F-14D is only tomcat to have this...all others have HUD as part of front canopy) ANd....I use it like a sniper...with phoenix missle. REAL usefull once shi* hits the fan In this game the main character is more discreet than the last. Less hype fbystanders in the game who think you are some savior. ITs realy more so Ace Combat 2.

I just want a better explanation of what the hell happened in teh end. Also if Nora and DD died fighting Focker and Shin it would have been better, but they AFOS annhilated them. I hope kawamori has a OVA in mind with some new footage and changed events.

well chopper asks "hey do you see her?" when h asks that say no. THe copter is a different matter. You can answer whichever way. But I think he was asking for where to go, and the direction is definitely northwest

Hornet has NO laser guided ASM. ITs long range ASM. ITs a SLAM missle. FOr the sub mission select the sub as your target not its SAMs. Use a fast plane. ITs easier to dodge the burst missle if you are in a fast plane. FOR the nagase mission, head northwest, your bar should be full and as you get closer you'll hear more intense beeping. When chopper asks if you see her say no. THe copter should come soona fter you head northwest. Afterwards take out all SAM and AAA batteries targeting the copter and the MIGS attacking.

I was embarrassed too, till I realized that all the planes in the 8492 have some souped up near godlike AI. I find headon close distance shots are best for those. REAL glad I didnt use an A-6 on fortress otherwise I would have died rather easily in 8492

F-4G RULES!!! And the F-14B is the BEST CAS plane I have used in any ace combat yet~~~!!!!(aside fom tornado GR`1). I'm still mad they rated teh super hornets speeds stats HIGHER than the F-14A's. It just aint right!! Anyone notice that SU-47 and SHORNET AI in the game will turn circles around you? THey actually fight they way they are supposed to!@!! And I took down some suckers in the 8492 mission. Muhhahhahhhaha.

oh i meant like, How do you go about doin the shades? On the panel layer do you use the marquee or laso tool to make a shape and then airbrush it? Or do you use masks?

oh ok. So when using photoshop, do you use the magnetic lasso to outline a shape and airbrush the colors/shades in? I'm noticcing the soft edges and how crisp and precise everything is. WEll done! Reminds me of those illustrations done in books./

LOL. hate to say it but. YES nearly all of us want this to happen. NO it probably won't. We ain't changing nothing. Why? Harmony gold and litigations preventing yamato and bandai or anything japanese macross toys from being sold in the US DIRECTLY. Everything we get that is macropss from japan is imported not sold direct to market here. SO technically no. And.... They cater towards the japanese market NOT us. I guess that is the main reason. AS far as the poll like i said almost everyone will vote yet. NO etailer here would offer preorders for something that is not even mentioned to be coming out. Too big a risk and plus it would make them look bad since...well last time we checked, nothing about bandai reissuing any valks any time soon. hey I hate to see it but its true. The sad truth is, we don't matter as much to bandai and yamato. Since they can only cater to the japanese market, we are not included into that. They can't sell directly to us in the US so why would they cater to us? Its like making a beer to sell to non drinkers. Just wont happen. ANd why bandai didnt reissue thje above forementioned toys? THe reissue line didnt do well in japan and gathered dust on the shelves. SO while many of us love the reissues, the japanese market was more into the yamato stuff(more detail and articulation) rather than the bandais. You can say it was a case of REAL bad timing. SOme bandai reps have showed in cons in asia and said that competition was a factor in not reissuing more or why the line didnt sell well. XStoys knows more. FRom waht I read elsewhere competition was tough.

officially MIG-35? I duno man that designation was for the canard and TVC equipped MIG-29 with avionics upgrade. But was never made. I guess that rumor for the MIG1.44 being the MIG-35 was startted a few years ago but I forgot where. Where are peolpe calling the MIG1.44 the flanker? THey look massively different. Sukhoi is geting all the love, they have the contract for russia's next gen air superiority fighter.(NOT the berkut its just a concept plane) THis game OWNS. HAd no idea the BOMBcat's LGB could destroy MULTIPLE targets if close togethere. Saw it annihlate 3 tanks in a row. BTW on replay mode the best view is "all". it adds several views NOT viewable in the other selectable views. set it to "all" when watching a mid air refueling replay. IT freezes up upon contact but afterwqards is all good. ITs AWESOME. Carrier and normal runway landings look a bit "weird" though.

Seriously what the hell is it with japan and flankers? Aside from 2 pilots from JASDF testflying some? I mean yea its awesome looking but seriously the jet game companies have overkilled the concept of the flanker in the game. AFDS had every variant imaginable and up until now, the SU-37 was namco's posterboy Ace combat plane. (saves F-22 in AC2 intro, on AC2 cover, On AC3 cover, used by yellow squadron in AC4, Hard to kill in AC2(Su-37)....) I would have rather they canned the SU-35 in the game and gave us an Su-33 instead. hey its significantly differnt than then SU-37 in shape too and mission capability.

It is VERY tiny. I've seen an F-5F UPCLOSE and a super hornet, heck a F-16A and a F/A-18C are so much bigger. And the JSF? Don't be fooled, that sucker is BIG. Looks almost fat upclose. It might be a single engine fighter but it is big for it's size. Not too bad actually, up close. On of the UAV's on display @OCeana during the air show had a wing span clos to that of the F-5!! or bigger!

YES multiuple weapons!! Id like more vintage planes since it gives you a great sensation when you dump your old ass plane for a new brand spanking plane like a F-16 or so. (least it felt like that in AC2). I had no idea there was no shattered skies type mission, so Yes I would want a pure A2A battle as well. I think we could use a few more wild weasels like the EF-111A raven and F-105G thunderchief. Me personally, I think namco only chooses to add an Su-35 as an homage to Ac2...when the SU-35 totally hauled ass. I would gladly do away with the Su-35 for a vintage plane like the thunderchief and crusader. And the crusader never gets no love, it really should. Keep the SU-37, kick out the 35, and give me a vintafge plane!! (BTW capabilities for 35/337 are similar aside fact that the 37 is way better....so its kind of redundant having a 35 IMHO, especially when the modeling is almost the same). skul leader, a hawkeye is A great idea!! I would also want the ability to refuel mid air more often and to land and rearm more often as well. This really should have had that. DID anyhone notice that the AI is much better? SUper hornets are hard to shoot down in an F-14A!!! VERY hard toturn with them going slow.
