Opus do you need to pay to join the fanclub? I saw the pic through figures.com before, and it is awesome. Other future releases include the MIG-15, F-86 and TBM avenger. I think they might have canned the phantom since they were worried about box size(if they did make that it would be the BIGGEST 1/18 scale fighter toy out there!). I seriously wouldn't care since I am sure a phantom done in that scale would certainly be worth the money they would charge for it. Lil under or over 100$. David, that also pisses me off how the plane will be mislabled just like the FOV tomcat. THe FOV tomcat on box is an F-14B in VF-84 markings, which never operated the B model. THe dragon model seems to be a repaint of the F-14A with VF-103 markings, and VF-103 never operated the A model when they became the jolly rogers. Lets hope the actual product has the right stuff. THe super hornets look cool, glad they have the 2 seater coming out. I hope we get a bombload for the F-14B. It would make sense being that VF-103 is a known "bombcat" squadron. And I do hope we get some phoenixes and sparrows to mount as well.

Yea they aren't permanent staff for yamato, just the sculptors that Yamato chose for some select products. This whole model issue makes me crave master or perfect grade macross kits. Then again it'll be a while before macross becomes missed in japan and demand skyrockets for more valk toys.

Ya know guys, I actually think the new IRIAF camo is bland. I like the old one better. The old one is the YK camo for the F-14A in AC5 now that I think about it. Old one was reminscent of the phantoms and tigers of the IRIAF. Liked the commanility. This looks more like a USN aggressor squad. I hope Dragon makes a 1/72 F-14A VF-154"Blackknight" FLIR cat.

Well since it is modded off from a 1/72 hase, that would mean when taken apart, not every piece would stay as one piece as it should when creating the tooling. It was a custom modd, not something where it was intended as a toy to begin with. Models and toys are designed very differently. Note the yammie 1./72 YF19 was based on the SHE but it was not made from an upsized and modded SHE mould. Toys based on models almost all the time need their own mold and toolings. UNless they are based off models made from scratch from the start to begin with, like the liquid stone one is. THe liquid stone one is an all original mold, no other parts from other models like the hase. Least from what I can tell. Not to mention some of the pieces from the hase kitbash might have been thin styrene sheets and at that point, no matter what material, some parts extremely thin wouldn't cut it. Hence the need for a mold built from scratch from the start. This is not to say it CAN'T be based on a model ala the yammato based on SHE, but rather the actual mold has to be one that can be made from scratch, molding from a customized already built model is very hard to do and not to mention take apart for casting.Heck, what if the IHP hase kitbash is the ONLY YF19 variable they did? That would mean taking apart that prized model would mean destroying their notorious masterpiece, and I am sure the dude who made that would not be happy. But to make a mold from that that is what you have to do. Now if someone makes a mold BASED on that, thats when something can happen. Graham, I can't tell, is the liquid stone YF19 Perfect variable or swap? And if so which parts swap?

Liek the whole macross 7 1/65 series, and the GQ gundams. *(yes this is just my excuse to see the sword impulse and better pictures than on valk factory, no offense nam but graham put stickers on his stuff nad it looks better!!)

I keep hoping bandai as much as I think it will not be possible Also TOYFAIR is this weekend in the USA!!! And please tell yamato the 1/100 sucked and that a PV VF-0 would be awesome. (i got a 1/100 dfiecast F-14, and trust me if they are similar size, for 30$ PVC, that thing would be SMALL~!)

Retracting brought up a vs battle in another thread, F-15K vs EF2000 for Singapore. I assume the typ[hoon offered has a gun? LEts hope!! Also, the first EAP concept had dual vert stabs. Could it have any advantage aerodynamically over the present typhoon?

FRpm, what I heard both are ABS but, the AE has airbrushed weathering and is not as clean. And mine has gashapon disease too. Anyone know the height of the GQ models? Those look awesome.

Oh I know but all the blazer bootlegs lack the correct wings. And the wings definitely make it a blazer very distinct.

Bandai should have reisseud the Blazer and VF17D. SO cheap to do and all of them kick ass. Well Fire is decent but Blazer blows it away. FOr some reason I love the blazer now. Looks awesome. The 1/100 is beautiful and even if yamato were just to change the head, canard pack, and wings on thwe 1/72 VF-19A and give it a repaint into the blazer, I would STILL buy it! Graham got any pics, I know you've got the whole set of m7 valks!

guys, can someone give me the height measurements for the GQ destiny figures? I am wondering if they are worth the 50$+.(getting my AE strike for 7$ has pretty much made me question whether I should buy a GQ.........well IF they are the same size, if the GQ's are bigger then I shall consider buying the GQ even more!)

Retailer are made to sell them @79.99 for at least 2-3 months. After that they can discount them. The toy itself only costs around 55$ to make. If the retailer does not want to sell @80$ for the first times they will not be allowed to sell the toys.

Yes but the VF19S was never reissued(all the reissues have painted details rather than stickers), and all the first releases including the blazer had sticker sheets. Which make the toys look much better. BTW guys on average how much does a legit blazer sell for now?

NAw it's cool man. As long as it has something to do with planes(politics aside) then it's cool here! BTW I do like pan am planes. Dunno the logo was just cool.

I think bigger is better. I am not saying hug3e but simply because there is more to play with. I here graham talk absolute love for his GQ gundams, a ton more so than he does for his MSIA. And 1/144 gundams suck in comparison to their master grade counterparts. The 1/72 HCM isn't as worshippedand revered as the 1/55. Same can be said about the 1/60 to 148 VF-1. And most of the time, smaller size comes with cheaper quality. The VF-0 would have been tons better had it been in a bigger scale and I know yamato wouldn't use PVC for the majority of that, more than likely ABS. And look how many people love the yamato scopedog. That was definitely surprising to me. And masterpiece prime vs robotmaster and g1 prime.

Oh it's not just them man. If you google up some stuff, you'll find more. It wasn't just the NPA, sometimes there military just does not agree and leads into factions. They even had to "rent" out or call a US plane in to monitor a terrorist before he was eventually killed. They could not do this alone.
