  1. Just a scaled up mcfarlane? I dunno I think the NECA one might be better. I dunno for some reason All the MCfarlane figures I have have this plastic that tends to warp a whole lot...definitely more PVC than ABS. For me to buy the NECA, it would have to have a light up or translucent visor, removable helmet, holster opening and gun, some bullets for the gun in a clip that you can put in the gun, that backpack from Part III, the huge machine gun lower arm he had from the same movie, and a bit more articulation.
  2. Its an energon megatron/galvatron figure with lower body from armada megatron/galvatron and sculpted on parts. The legs are KILLING ME!!
  3. Please use punctuation, and now those are not MIB since you already took them out and stickered one of them. BTW shouldn't you have posted this in the for sale forum?
  4. NOt sure if theyt are bigger, they are smae as MSIA from what I can tell but a lot more articulated, and with more weathered paint apps. Think of higher quality MSIA with the finish of FIX but the better articulation than the 2.0 MSIA and costs a bit more.
  5. KB toys has a bunch of gundam stuff everytime I go. SEED MSIA/Battle scarred g gundams, 3/10$, same with SD gundam. The AILE strike MSIA box set went for 5.99. TRU has good prices as well. OH yea mobile fighter 7.5 inchers at KB are 2.99 and battle damaged ones are 4.99@TRU. The SEED ones I have been able to find are AILE strike box, deactiv Strike, activ Strike, Buster, Duel, Blue astray, and red astray. Red astray is awesome but his thighs block the hip articulation somewhat. Nonetheless for 3.30$ I am not complaining at all!
  6. By NECA, and decently articulated! http://www.figures.com/databases/action.cg...how_article=251 more here! http://www.necaonline.com/robocopnews1.html
  7. I stopped reading a lot of comics during the whole spidey clone shi* and such during middle school. I continued on but gradually stopped reading more in high school and in college every now and then I will, but for the most part I just focused on my artwork. While I kind of negleccted the comic scene a bunch of people like Bangal and others came out of nowhere. I just looked at the Shrink comic by liefeld...christ its HORRIBLE!! WTF?! I also heard that he gave Pat Lee his first job,....and we all know where he ended up...llosing a lot of fans and support due to the fact he did not pay a lot of the artists under him. Shame. And his Jae Lee imitations in the gijoe tf crossover were lame. On the subject of Jim lee though, I ddi get some of HUSH and loved it.
  8. So none of you bought the dragon F-14 yet? niether have I! But I did come up with more debate fodder! F/A-18F vs MIG-29K(carrier MIG-29M for india with awesome looking flaps) F-100D vs MIG-19 both knife fights!!
  9. sturdier? I doubt that. My 1.60 is a wobbling mess , its missles can;t even stay on, andd hell standing up is a chore and those legs keep falling out. The 1.60 was clearly meant for diecast collectors, not people who play with their toys. The loose landing gear is a joke. The 1/.48 was made to be played with and BP8 is not as bad once you figure out what to avoid. HEll I manhandle my 1/48 from time to time and its great. It aint no bandai but its great. The 1/60 is far less playable.
  10. DAMN IT!! Man the sword strike kicks ass...meh. Oh well looks like I will buy the smaller aile striker though!! Mineswell get that tan one as well. I've gotta say duel and astray are a TON better than the MSIA from 2 years ago!
  11. I might be wrong here, but I believe he was the one who actually wrote all that stuff on the ad.
  12. Because they keep adding landing gear and the mechanisms to make them retractable.(had yamato not added landing gear at all to their 1/72 VF-11, it very well could have had the big tailfins). In fact that was the reason short fins had to be used, to make sure there was enough room for the landing gear to retract Swap gear rules yamato!!!! Retractable only works on 1/48 and higher!
  13. LOL ahwww the good old days. Thhen the 1/48 came out and made the 1/60 in many ways look like crap. I still think yamato's 1/60 was a product of mismarketing. as diecast and precision but its too toyetic to be so. Whole other topic though lol. Where as the 1/48 is a straight up toy.
  14. Let us hope that for this once that the bundle box is COMPACT, otherwise it will KILL shipping! LOL. I recommend packing in fighter mode, wings in mid sweep rather than full, missles and armor packed close togethere and underneath the fighter. Deeper box, but a lot less wide compared to the recent ones.
  15. The only reason Liefeld may have even got the shot with DC and publishers nowatdays might be the fact that he might be able to get stuff done on time, and he may be able to pump out a lot of pages for the amount DC is willing to pay him. Even then if I were to hire someone I would hire someone who could DRAW. And his lack of training freaking shows. people get slammed for doing amateur stupid shi* like he pulls off in my class/school all the time. On the other hand Jim Lee had no formal training either(he got his BFA in psychology), but hell Lee actually takes time to do things right. Seeing liefeld draw the body all effed up is one of the things that pisses me off just as much as seeing badly drawn VF-1's by whoever wildstorm hired to do the robotech comics.(YES I just said it and to be fair there are not many artists out there that can draw the valkyrie right....comico didn't do very well and as it stands I think antarctic did a better job with the license than wildstorm).
  16. Well its a retailer in singapore and they usually get a lot of preorder stuff first so I have faith in what he said.
  17. I just answered that. I should have rephrased. you place the kite sticker onto the white sticker, then put the white sticker onto the fueselage where you would put the kite sticker. That way it the kite adheres to the white and has less chance of peeling. Graham may have mentioned this when the first 1/48 sample came out in late 2002.
  18. DEAL1!!!! Now open them suckers and PLAY!!
  19. The white stickers are for placement underneath the kite symbol. I think it is to block out the black from the stripe underneath. It might also be to let the symbol sticker adhere better(sticks better to something on paper rather than on plastic).
  20. goodness christ...why him? Ugh!
  21. Lets hope the dragon super hornet is more accurate..though considering the way things are going now...lol...yes let us truly hope!! Any of you anticipating the new FOV 1/72 and 1/32 warbirds? The 1/72s have swap gear but the 1/32s have retractable!! And they will be in target so it might be considerably cheaper than ordering online!! I want me some 1/32s!! I hop they make a corsair and shinden in that scale
  22. THS is another name for HBS....which means HyBrid Scale. THis is a collector line takara is starting similar to bandais old HCM and marketed towards the same crowd(adult). THS was chosen to differentiate...but its the same thing. The other franchise in this is votoms under the name HBS PRO. Notice how it says PRO like HCM PRO? That is because PRO is to denote smaller size...much like bandais HCM PRO gundams. The votoms HBS PRO are similar in size and price to HCM pro from bandai only the ewxception being action features being incorporated and also having diecast.
  23. Naw you'll see.(AHHH final exams SUCK!!!!,,,,can't wait to get done so i can draw more!!!) Skull squadonr is motif for outfit......I want an excuse to draw a valkyrie too lol.
