Shin Densetsu Kai 7.0

Guys, now that the EMSIA mkII titans is out and same with the HCM pro version, which is the better of the 2? Which is more durable and more fun to play with?(I hear EMSIA have harder plastic now though not exactly ABS). And has anyone gotten the OYW MG stuff? Are those all new molds? The RX-78 looks to kick some serious boo tay.

Hey its cool Howard. understandable. As for the stability and such...my 1/60 hikkie falls apart all the time while my 1/48 is friggn puyre bliss. HOLDS poses, good poses, more dynamic, and hell nowhere near as fragile as alot of people say so. Purely stable and hell fun to play with. More fun to mess with than the 1/60....a ton more. You can even pretend the 1.60 does not even exist once you get the 1/48. I think the 1/60 is only good if your at your deskjob bored to hell and want something to mess with for a small while everytime you have a 5 minute break. Otherwise the legs off transformation absolutely killed a lot of the playability for me(unlike the 1/.55 and 1.48)

Graham, From what I can recollect, yamato took all orders for the low viz @shizouka, and that was it. Whichever store/vendor or supplier ordered there got the low viz. It was a once and only order type deal or something. That is why it was extremely hard for people to get it since a lot of them did not realize it was just that one time only thing. I think the suppliers ordered a certain amount limited by yamato to under 2,500, so divide that into however many market chains ordered and then to how many were sold or bought up by suppliers who then supplied our etailers here in the western world.

GC-01 is a LOT bigger than THS!!!!a LOT!! tformers.com and IRL have pics. The only thing tht throws me off is how much etailers are charging for the lil bugger. but I am going to cali next month anyways so who knows maybe I will buy it there. But I am definitely getting prime when he comes here next month! Still THS would be nice to have. You guys should post pics and compariusons!! And he is SMALLER! and Shorter than GUNDAM FIX!! Maybe he same size as MSIA.

CYbertron(US galaxy force) is hitting late this month and June to the US. Hyrid convoy isn't listed yet. and if he was I imagine it would be as an exclusive. The regular size starscream is also listed as an exclusive with vector prime in a TRU 2 pack. Notice there is also a vector prime in the regular line so chances are the 2 pack one is a repaint. The big ass starscream is listed in the first waves too.

Yes but think about it, the 1/48 VF-1A mold already exists, its just a matter of paint matching and recalibrating the tooling machines. The megazone 23 stuff, the VF-0, all those were still in prototype stage. And the 1/.60 armor set would have required fans to retool the legs themselves if they wanted the armor for the first 4 1/60 VF-1s. The 1/48 VF-1A? It could be put out with relative ease from yamato. The only thing different is the paint job! Not like there is any retooling or major mold changes needed. Its good to go!

The whole military vibe is getting to me...i WANT it!!!!!! Oh man...this truly the common man's valk...I want to customize the hell out of it with stickers!! Hopefully takatoys makes some custom squadron markings for this sucker. OoOoooo

Don't be afraid to be rough with your 1/48. it is durable. just use common sense. I am a big transfan collector too and I found that big convoy, and the smokescreen alternator were total "*itches" to transform in comparison! It is also a lot more durable than the alternators.

Dude valk exchange has the VF-1J with FP for 189.99. IU say buy it. ANd trust me the 1./48 really is not fragile. I manhandle it. Hell it is in one piece. And...my model kits? ALL broken! IN some way which or form. My 1/48? NOT BROKEN~! That says a lot. Tired of people saying this thing is so fragile nad just a display piece and how its a like a model. Whatevers. If you handle a dragon warbirds model and then the 1/48 you would realize how much of a toy the `/48 is while the dragon is clearly a model though made from diecast. Just watch out for BP8 and use common sense transforming. The only people who really say the 1/.48 is fragile or like a model are people who barely even play with it.

HCM pro are straight 1/200 scale. So yes smaller...as for fragile, I dunno its debatable. They are made of ABS rather than PVC, and have PVC for thin parts(V fins). ABS is a lot harder than PVC. They are less articulated than the 2.0 MSIA and EMSIA but form what I hear a lot of people prefer the HCMpro to MSIA.....mostly because in some ways they are more detailed(new zaku coming with moving MONO EYE!...Force impulse with transforming core fighter, exposed circuitry and pistons...), and most of all because the change in material(ABS over PVC). So HCMpro do not suffer from gashapon disease like the MSIA and are certain to last longer since ABS does not tend to "give" like PVC. They also come in cases made to blend in with your DVD collection. The only turn off to me is the price...they cost a tad bit more than MSIA.

YA know in my experience theres no way to really stop the yamato stickers from peeling. Their stickers really suck in general. I play with my toys so this might be the reason but even if I avoid the stickered areas they still peel. This does not happen as much on my bandais but to be fair the bandais have most of their stuff painted.....and its great that they did. Yamatos best solution to this is to either tampo or pad print all over the place or to use a much stronger adhesive for their stickers. And for the armor question haterist pretty much covered it. There would be a ton of complaints if fans had to drill our own holes, and heck not everyone has time to do so. I am not sure if I am right on this but perhaps new legs or leg parts were to be included for the seperate FAST packs? I think they were planned seperately for the 1.60s but I am not sure.
