guys can someone answer this for me? WIll Xboxlive free version have free online play 24/7 or is it just free skins and downloadable demos? I am a casual gamer so this is stuff I hear but am not really sure about. But a lot of you here are in the know, therefor eI ask.

I saw the movie and since this is a spoiler thread well here goes. I liked it, great movie. But I have a few complaints. -A lot of the jedi in the film....well you barely see them. Most of them are killed before you even get to see what each of them do and such. And yet they got the best action figures in the line........ -I wanted to see more of the ARC and jedi starfighters. You don't see them for too long. The clone tank barely got any action too. -I didn't like the aerobatics and crap that sidious did. Come on he's old. It just didn't look right. Nonetheless I liked the movie. Best of the prequels.

THe movie went by pretty fast. I read a lot of the scripts floating around, novel summaries, the threads here, and some of the novel in anticipation(heh the movie still rocked and yes I spoil a lot of stuff for myself) Overall I think it was the best of the prequels, but not as good as the OT. But good nonetheless. I'll say this, tis a shame that most of the jedi got some of the best action figures so far and yet well are barely in the film. And some of the ways they....well yea more screentime would have been appreciated. The lightsaber duels were awesome. And I still think Anakin was lead on to do all that stuff by the promise and goal of saving Padme. The jedi and Sith were alike in that niether really followed the book(the jedi seemed desperate in this one...you'll se). But I have a few questions. Who is commander bacara? His upcoming figure looks cool but I guess I missed him in the movie.

How can you seriously say that for sure? Nintendo was at the top and then sony came in and rised up. Just because Sony is on the top now does not mean they ALWAYS will be on top of the industry. Sony can easily become what nintendo did in the past years. I am just going to wait till each system is out for a year, watch the prices go down hopefully and then decide which to pick. There is all this hype and yet we have not seen the full capabilities of each system. We all know how the 3DO and jaguar and ultra 64 turned out. For what its worth the free XBOX live seems appealing to me but I have yet to find out whether its free gaming or just changeable skins and crap. If it is truly free gaming then kick ass, that sounds GREAT! THe revolution....I'll give nintendo a chance. Sounds cool so far, not sure of the new controller and what it will bring. Not getting my hopes up. PS3? Man its so easy to ride the hype. One of my friends is riding sony for all its worth as if PS3 is the 2nd coming for games. Man all I remember is My ps2 having the dreaded DISC READ ERROR. And hell history can repeat itself. I did get a new ps2 later on but ideally for what you pay for it better not be some damn error killing your system. I hope sony uses better material practice and puts a damn lens cover in the PS3, not rush system production using crappy materials at low cost to have more units out than their competitors. This is where I saw the xbox and gamecube more superior....having lens covers. Sounds simple but it is important.

guys got a quick question. Which is more durable and better to play with? The HGUC models or gundam FIX/zeonagraphy? They are both 1/144 scale and both look cool.

I wouldn't mind a low viz VF-1J. I also hope we get a stripe on the chest this time. Also, black skull and cross bones would be nice on light grey tail fins.(like the hasegawa low viz kit)

Probably not. We aren't that special over here. I'm sure we aren't the only ones who disliked the hands on the DYRL valks. And releasing the CF is just common sense. They have people who study the market. . . and I'm pretty sure they're much more interested in what their Japanese customers have to say. Very good point Hurin!

I am not surprised that they announce that this is the last variation. They used the mold TONS of times pumping out...and heck its got more variants than the other 1/.48s!! Well not by much but you get the point. HOwever things do change and if it sells well...well who the hell knows. I tend to think the VF-1J's and VF-1S's sold a lot better. And they did specify last variation of VF-1A so......

With 3 sparrows it only has 1 less missle than the phantom. Plus we all know how thte sparrow did in vietnam. I actually never saw the PAF Crusaders in person just online @ARCh and such. One of the members just built a wrap around blue camo 1/72 F-8. At ACIG last I heard was that the PAF was operating F-5s and retired their F-8s. Not sure for the reasoning but I dunno. F-8 vs F-5E. 1 dedicated fighter the other a light weight cheap fighter. Compare! I saw the sader might have a good speed advantage and would have to use the vertical to defeat it. Also. F-8 vs F-20 just for plain interest. A-7F/G vs F-8 A slimmed down afterburning corsair vs the plane it was based on.

Yea thats definitely why. see I manhandle my toys. I play with them. Alternators will break if you are rough with them. The 1/48 more than likely will not unless you are careless or forget all the warnings from the past 3 years on macross world. Al my model kits are broken in some way. All my toys are not.

Besides...it was probably heat of the moment he probably was focused on the valk and might have not noticed the sign till the pic was on his screen. oh well the damage is done! what a BEAUT!! F-8 fighters had some pretty neat high viz schemes. The SUPER gator, now that looked AWESOME! TOTALLY beautiful and definitely more aggressive and dangerous looking in comparison to the phantom. I hear that the phantom was sluggish or heavy and that the super gator felt pretty good to fly. And I am not sure on this but different sites say it would have guns but others say strictly sparrow. Who knows. I add that to the list of "airplanes that got canned but should have flown in place of the planes chosen in favor of them:" F-14D F-20 YF-17 A-12 YF-23 F-8U3 Crusader III I totally forgot about the low viz sader reconers. Last I saw was on discovery wings when it was being flown out to andrews for the last flight in 97. A sundowner sader in low viz with bright or fade white shark mouths would look AWESOME! If anything hopefully matchbox makes some 1/72 saders. A super crusader diecast would be AWESOME!

Dude the 1/48 is nowhere near as fragile as anyone says. You wont have a lemon> The cracked hips isnt too big of a problem its just a hairline but no parts snap off to my knowledge. The BP8 part can be kept ibn good condition using common sense. Just always remember not to push it past the nub and you'll be just fine. Just use a lot of common sense and such when handling it. I man handle mine. Hell I can take a quick mpeg to show you guys provided shawn n graham want to host it. Its not fragile as an alternator.And nohere near as hard to transform. It only takes under 2 minutes due to the fact that it has more parts than a bandai 1/55. And plus its a joy of love compared to the 1/60

And after watching the gundam movie trilogy, I think I might pick up a Char type gelgoog! Good work so far!! Inspires me to use my painting skills on models someday some day...

Noel thanks for chiming in dude. I am always intrigued at how things really are selling in japan versus what most of the board thinks it sells. From what I recollect from the first day the 1/60 was first released, Matt Alt said there were actually lines for it! I am assuming that in japan, that high detail toys usually sell well(depending on fanbase) upon inception but the more you make for a line the more it saturates. (not to mention the 1/60 VF-1 was in a league higher than the macross plus toys). I hope the cannon fodder does well. In the meantime I might set aside money for it. Its very utalitarian looking and uber military. Totally cool in my book.

nope. The TRU CF was mainly with a big store. This is LE just like the low viz at the previous shizouka. I assume the same will happen as with the LV.

For me, I could care less for Kakizaki, I actually like that sleggard dude from GUndam 0079 better!(both minor characters but hey least one of them went out pretty well!). What I want is a Max Type VF-1A!!!!*now THIS would outsell kakizaki)
