I remember back in 95-95 a lot of us were led to believe it would be the ultimate gaming system ever created.

To be honest I like te 1/60 backpack hinge better. It locks into place and I have not heard anyone breaking it. I always wondered why it was not used on the 1/48/

Yukikaze wins. I don't really like some of the designs but hell most of them look awesome and at least SEEM like they can fly, unlike the stealth one where you know it was a halfassed concoction based on the popular mechanix artist' conception of the bird of prey. Yukikaze has creative, believable designs(well most of them at least). Stealth looks like the klingon bird of prey gone wrong.

Ya know metal recasts woult not only be durable, but white metal would eliminate the need to paint!! Heck....perhaps we can recast some parts of the 1/48 in diecast to make a more metal content 1/48!

Its not a big selling point, but if anything its a cool feature. I think it is more important on the revolution though, since you get to play games that are relatively hard to find nowatdays, and you can play them all on the revolution's stored memory rather than having to purchase the actual disc to play(NES SNES and 64). With the 360 and PS3 you need the discs to play the old stuff.

That article was boring. These companies need to start shutting up and putting up! SHOW us how damn good this cell processor is and how much better PS3 will be better than 360 or whatever. Sheesh all this talk and yet kutaragi won't even show a damn thing.

yes but who is to say that all the games on 360, or even most will end up on PC's? There is a ton of xbox games that have not made it to PC. Nintendo has more gaming libraries to stem from and that in itself, being able to play the games we all grew up with, should get nods from a lot of the older gamers. So far I think nintendo is playing it safe, I just hope they get a lot more 3rd party support. And a lot of people did get disc read errors, myself included. In va beach 2 x mass' ago, when I was home for break, the local news did a report on broken ps2's, RIGHT OUT THE BOX! There wasa good number of these in va beach at the time and sony declined comment. For most of you here, you all are lucky, but me and some others? We had it bad. My teacher's PS2 broke also. I'll put more faith in sony once they come up with a good price and can guarantee good quality of materials made in the system.

Seems to me... Revolution will be cheaper, is appealing due to downloadable NES through n64 game libraries, backwards compatibility, and.... Hell I dunno seems the revolution is more game based if anything. I think nintendo could be the silent winner....but who knows? I think 360 has a lot of promise too hell I might get one. Free xbox live and backwards compatibility is ultra cool. Anyone got a price estimate? All I hear is that the huge ass controller ps3 will be pricy.

Well maccross plus was a lot better in many viewer's opinions, the thing with macross II was that it seemed like a candy coated rehash of DYRL with new mecha designs. I for one loved the animation and the designs but the story to me was very very unoriginal/

Heh. Around 2 years ago interest in this thing from the boards was rampant. Interest in a VF-2SS is a lot higher in the US than it is in japan. Kawamori does not like Macross II either. If I remember right, Graham did say that yamato/toycom(back then), could produce a VF-2SS for the US market once the HG litigation was over, but chances were slim due to the fact that macross II was not a big hit in japan nor was it liked by kawamori. But I could have remembered wrong, it has been a while and this was when graham used to do the monthly newsletters and the 1/60s just came out. Who knows? perhaps a resurgence in interest in VF-2SS has happened in japan over the years, however unlikely I think that may be. Perhaps Renato or Howard could enlighten us, guys in japan, is macross II is or was even popular?

well there was a TRU listing for a mega alternator for 29.99.....its in the computers. So perhaps this alternator is in a bigger size class. THe scion looks boring to me. I think a RAM would be a ton better. And maybe I am alone on this but I would love to see binaltech versions of prime and megatron. LEss expensive than masterpiece, but big enough to be "known" in size difference, as leaders. And different alt modes for those 2 I do not mind...hey can you blame me? I just want the leaders in the line too! And I know I am not alone in wanting a new megatron!

I am thinking either a revised or new mold VF-1 or the BETA or cyclones. It'd be nice but you guys do know we would have to pay a ton for the BETA right? The ARC-170....the V wings and hell the jedi starfighters should have had some more screen time! I went into the movie kind of expecting anakin to show he was the best star fighter pilot in the galaxy as Obi wan told Luke in ANH. But all he did was do some fancy flying, blow up some destroyer and shoot off some buzz droids that were on Obi wans ship. I wanted to see more! (can you blame me,? Come on the jedi starfighter design looks cool!). All the space fighters in this one were awesome looking to me, shame we only see some in mere seconds of footage.

I bought the blue BT Tracks because of the flame decal. It's funny how much I hated the yellow but loved the blue. yeah, you would think that since the mold is the same, it wouldn't bother people. I have ravage... thought that could fix my tracks void but it really didn't (gole dang panther head). I'd opt to get a BT blue, but i notice i like teh plastic more - can chuck 'em around without worrying about them breaking. Breakage? I object to that! Alterrnators havesome thin plastic for most of the car parts like the hood. Binaltechs have metal in place of those thin plastic parts....well in most areas. I used to think binaltechs were more fragile and such but I got 2 for my birthday and by far they are more durable than my alts. And paint scratches are no big deal and have not happened to me in the many times I played with my techs. I say buy blue tracks man!

Any modern day fighter whos main mission is to destroy fighters as a priority should have good rearward visibility. I tend to think the JSF is just a F-117 successor with better defensive capabilities. In no way is it meant to be a definite F-16ADF or successor to the legacy hornet in the fighter and defense roles. I wonder how well it can take on a legacy hornet in a dogfight. Since there are a few of you here who think it has the potential to be a good fighter.
