Toons those things got as much articulation as the old 5" toybiz x men figures. They are just ABS versions of the ARII kits.

I couldn't go(hopefully next year so I can go apply to all the comic companies) , BUT ringofcollectors.com(the site I'm part of aka ROC), is there! Well the admin Brian Santore, and I think a few others are there, but not all of us could make it. Anyways Brian's got some really good shots up, and he's got a few closeups or Mattel's DC Superheroes 6" line! It is comprised of a wave of Batman figures, and Superman for wave 2, with a bunch of other Dc heroes in later waves! THe articulation is not overdone like Marvel Legends, think SOTA Street fighter only a little less. THe Sculpts are ALL by 4H(4 Hoursemen, who used to sculpt for Mcfarlane, then went to mattel to do MOTU aka He-Man). The batman in the first wave is a golden age batman in blue and gray and resembles the Neal Adam's batman from the 60's. Also although it is a retool of the overseas only Batsignal Batman, it has armor attack Batman's legs, and a new head! This looks like a great batman figure, also pictured are Bane and Scarecrow(from the overseas waves), and AZRAEL! Bizarro and Superman are pictured...the one with the daily planet base is the ALL NEW MOLD superman! This is a semi continuation of the comic batman line, IMHO the comic line did not die, instead it evolved into a DC all star line! And do not worry about case assortments, Inside Traitor(who posts@ROC and works for mattel, has fought long and hard for this line to start, not to mention the case assortments for the the JLU and the Batman were pretty even, and båd cases ruined MOTU and the batman comic line in the USA, so mattel DEFINITELY learned their lesson.(Although I will admit...Ducard is VERY hard to find in the Batman movie line!). Each figure comes in a blister box, and EACH and all come with a comic book, AND a base. So yes in a lot of ways not only is this THEE DC line a lot of us were hoping for, for a long time, BUT it is kind of like DC/Mattel's answer to Marvel/Toybiz' Marvel Legends figures. This is something we have needed and wanted for a long time. The sculpts are great, the articulation is GREAT! Most figures have -Head, shoulder, bicep, elbow, wrist, ball joint t hips(does not look look like a ball joint at all but works like one...similar to 4H's He-man figures, THIGH swivel, knees, and ankle articulation! The release date is spring 06. I also learned this while reading through the ROC forums -4H have their OWN toyline unveiled! Magma Corps -Marvel Legends series 13 will be VERY villain heavy -Marvel legends series 12 will have a buildable 16" Apocalypse. -Iron Fist is in series 12 -Marvel Superhero Showdown(the 4" scale figures) is selling well but toybiz is interested in how many reorders they get from retailers. -A transformers mystery item is to be unveiled THIS afternoon I believe@3pm(IF hasbro continues to go with the plans..there was a leak earlier this week of Primus and Soundwave CG renders from Cybertron and some of the TF sites are pointing fingers at each other and such. Not to mention Hasbro sometimes pulls things from shows if leaks happens. But I think most likely we will see what is to be unveiled(which a lot of people think IS the Primus toy itself). -Sideshow collectibles scored the license to do 12" Star Wars figures! They are looking in to the old trilogy AND expanded universe aside from the´prequels! -DC Direct and Mattel are working togethere to see which characters each company can make(for example if Mattel wants to make a certain Batman or Green Lantern they have to be sure the release does not come into conflict with DC Direct's version, vice versa...its said that DC Direct will mainly focus on specific artist renditions while Mattel will go for the modern era stuff). -Toynamis BETA fighter is there. And theres a lot more stuff! Gijoe Sigma 6 is on display as weell as the new online only Gijoes, and Hasbro is to have some panels today where they show off future plans and more toys(like that one time 2 years ago where everyone was asking about masterpiece prime and had only seen the gray japanese resin proto, and then out of nowhere under the table duriing the panel, Aaron Archer pulled out Masterpiece Prime and showed him off). Head on over to ringofcollectors.com, they've got a special SDCC section with live coverage! Brian Santore's got some really good pics up there and info as well! And while your at it, head on over to our forums, www.rocuniverse.com, and join are forums! I mod there in the world of imports section, and do import breakdowns as well!(My gundam ones should be frontpaged soon). And to those at SDCC, ENJOY and have fun! So excited about that DC comic line...drool -

Apparently yes, since there are already plastic Hasbro test shots of Sunstreaker on e-bay. No sign of a figure though, so no idea if they will be included with the Alternators version. They appear to be new characters that fit with the theme of the BT character they are paired with. 310988[/snapback] From what Kickback at tfw said, the girls are a takara thing, not hasbro. -

Lots of stuff happened while MW was down. -Galaxy Force CG renders of Soundwave and Primus were leaked*note Primus was the "top secret" item that hasbro is to unveil this week at comiccon...3pm on thursday or friday I forget which day. -Someone from keyvectorsigma.com reviewed the cybertron metroplex(megalo convoy) prototype. -Vangauard team released in japan...and exigazer is smaller than excillion. -Cybertron hit the USA -TF writers jumped ship from the live action movie to work on mission impossible 3. And a bunch of other stuff but I forgot lol. -

A7 are you gonna pick up the super articulated collectors edition figure? its at forbidden planet apparently, and limited to 5000! Which sucks. Maybe its kuz of the rubber cape. I really hope it makes it to mass market somehow..

Cool pics! A7 what do you think of the batman begins figures that you have bought so far? There have been numerous complaints everywhere about them but some like them. Overall the reactions for the most part have been negative.

Thats the confusing part. The HLJ pic shows a silver one with balck widow license plate and head and bot colors. The original pic I saw of wild rider was with all silver and black. Ehhh who knows this is getting confusing lol! -

ok, am I missing something? Where does it say it's called black arachnia? It just says BT-16 Wild Rider. It's listed on zincpanic.com as black widow...black widow apparently was Black Aracnia's name in japan. -

The hungates near my house has no dragons at all! But they did have the jolly rogers F-14 FOV for a while.....I kind of regret not buying it....I liked the retractable gear. Not sure if you guys would be into these but BUddyL Tonka rereleased their light and sound F-14...the sculpt is off and it has 4 guns....but back when I got it at the age of 10 I loved it! And its out again in low vis grey, along with a YF-22A in sky blue camo. -

Someone stuff a microman fig in the hot wheels one and tell us if it fits!(I remember the 1/18 1st movie batman batmobile could not fit a microman fig).

David, mine has been on its stand for very long periods of time(mostly on display anyways since playing with it like my other toys risks scratches). And the stand has never gave in, it is just a little wobbly but the stand works fine. It is not so heavy as to break it. (I guess this is due to the balance being equal on all sides). The model itself is pretty heavy...especially compared to the previously released falcons but not super heavy. So I wouldn't worry about leaving it on display on the stand. An F-14D bounty hunters tomcat has been announced as well. Its got the GE engines thank god, but whether the rest of it is accurate or not as a D is beyond me.(though the seats are NACES). Also it appears the cyber hobby jolly roger HAS the GE engines as well! http://www.modelhangar.com/forum/showthrea...17946#post17946 Not sure if the regular release F-14B does though.. -

From what I gather, Murph and waco know what they are talking about, and so do a few of the others, but many are calling out murph and waco making it seem like they are just defending the F-15 boys since they themselves are eagle pilots. I belive what waco and murph say. Not to mention it isn't mentioned if the mud hens were armed with bombs or not, that could take into account a lot of drag penalty along the fact that it already had much drag due to the CFT's. If the typhoon was clean ...hell either way it was not a fair fight for the mud hens. Not to mention that the fight was already called off by the time the typhoon got the kills. The mud hens were probably just sitting ducks at that moment. But for the sake of a discussion lets make one here.. F-15E vs typhoon. With CFT's or without. I assume that the mud hen would have to dive and zoom to defeat the typhoon, since it cannot outturn it. But the typhoon is pretty fast too... -
Boys, here's a link to a post I found@ROC concerning the new tumbler toy. Apparently there is 3 of them now! BTW check out the world of imports forum, its modded by me! BTW Noel did you pick up the collectors edition batman begins figure? Its a super articulated regular batman figure, only with rubberized costume and I believe wire cape. Also it is 5 inches in deluxe packaging. From what I recollect right now it is only available in asia.

My PS2 got DRE a year after opening it. Ever since then, understandably I am cautious with Sony. Just because the majority of people I have encountered had perfect working systems does not mean I am going to be guaranteed a perfect system when PS3 comes out. After my experience I am just worried about it happening again. Theres nothing unreasonable with that. I for one am glad most of you here have not had to go through with the DRE. DRE sucks. Can you believe that I only got to play aero elite academy NOW? Great game...but I had to wait till I had another PS2 to be able to play. Sucks when stuff breaks.
