  3. The one I linked is a prize, the truck mode of the regular one can be seen on the box, and was actually announced 1st, a few months back. Price is over $100 but understandable considering the size of the jetpack, and that Buster Prime in Japan was already close to if not over, $80.
  4. Not sure if you saw this: Clearer Picture Of Jetwing Optimus Prime From what I understand the new Masterpiece Prime isn't movie, it's been described as a modernized G1.
  5. Cheaper to retool the Kai. Just needs a retooled head or an all new one, and the gunpod from the F/S. Always liked the P, looked unique.
  6. Rumor is that the next MP is a modernized take on G1 Prime even moreso than the MP-1 mold, whose design is nearly a decade old at this point. So to me, god ginrai is closer to that than Star Convoy
  7. Now the blazer valkyrie I may preorder right off the bat, always had a thing for that design.
  8. Hmm I HOPE SO! Kind of makes sense..the body Ginrai got was meant for Optimus but Ginrai got it instead(forgot why but it's explained in the 1st episodes of Masterforce).
  9. From what I heard, yes a modernized g1 optimus. Hints on the mp-1L soundbase include clips of convoy saying he will be reborn.
  10. 1) good question, not sure at the moment 2) Starscream skystriker on display is a repainted vintage sample. Final production one is a one seater.

Storm Shadow comes with swappable parts to make either a Sideshow influenced Storm Shadow or Renegades Storm Shadow. The head sculpt reminds me a LOT of Sigma 6 Storm Shadow's mask from the anime. MSRP for single carded figures has now dropped from $6.99 to $4.99. Sky Striker XP-21F's wings and landing gear are still connected. Will come with different squadron marking stickers so you can customize yours. HOPE these are of great quality. Hate stickers that peel off of the toy easily. Black Dragon VTOL looks remotely like its onscreen counterpart. The onscreen version is HUGE. Toy is small. Nonetheless, there are many differences beyond that, the canopies are different, I see the toy more as an escort fighter if anything. Reminds me of a modernized FANG II. I like it actually.
  13. Rumored to be an all new Optimus
  14. Let me know what you come up with man, and thanks for the tips!
  15. Would that tear the rubber coverings off more though? Just wondering. If not I might try it out.
  16. Going to compare to the V2 1/60 yamato VF-1 because that's the most prevalent, recent release. The hinge joints on the DX VF-25's are okay, the ball jointed shoulders and hips are prone to looseness over time. To some extent, same goes for the wrists. The shoulders on the VF-1 and hips don't feel like they will loosen much over time, unlike the DX's and 1/48 VF-1. I've handled my V2's often and unlike most previous yamato releases, even after constant handling they don't feel like they will feel like "broken in" toys.
  17. I think the looseness might have to do with deteroriorating rubber ball joint covers too. The loose joints on my ozma messiah are 1 hip joint and the shoulder joints, all on metal balls. The shoulder joints on my 1/48 VF-1S Hikaru loosened over time because the rubber covers on the shoulder joints eventually wore down to the point that barely anything was left. It literally ended up looking like rubber stains. This is the reason I prefer universal rotation joints with ratchets over ball joints for major joints. For example, sure it's dated, but the Takatoku 1/55 shoulder design is preferable for me. Those joints stay in place just the way I like them. Canon be damned, I think the 1/48 VF-1 and DX toys would be better with those joints.
  18. I only have one, the DX VF-25S, and the joints are loose, specifically the metal ball ones for the shoulders and hips. Ankles are fine. I'll compare if I end up picking up the 27 and 29 later this year.
  19. I had ring raiders but they are smaller than the toyline I'm referring to. Plus ring raiders lacked Tomcats. The line I'm talking about I think was all Tomcats, I remember them being in red, yellow, and blue with tiger stripes. Smaller ones were the size of Skybusters, the bigger ones were smaller than 1/48 but bigger than 1/72.
  20. $95 ain't bad, after the yen went up last year, most stand alone releases after shipping were over $100.
  21. Shin's VF-0A super bundle wasn't perfect. Members here had arms bust and Graham relayed from Yamato that only 50% of them had the "corrected"/fixed arms. The VF-0S was largely free from problems. Stand alone reissues from last year should be alright.
  22. LOL I remember Thunder Jets! Came out around the time Hasbro was making the Flying Fighters line. There was also a toyline of tiger striped Tomcats that I cannot find info for. Think it was called Sky Dogs? Think the bigger ones had attachable joysticks and that there were also small diecast ones sans sticks.
  23. Don't know if they've made transforming ones recently, last ones I saw were mech suits from their Imaginext line and some from Batman Brave and the Bold. I had doubts on their WWE line(s) but they ended up impressing me with those, so hopefully the same thing happens with Voltron.
  24. oooo thanks for the links, I dig the VX-9 bugs!
