BTW I j noticed somethings about the MIG-29G vs MIG-29A. At first I thought "yea these 2 are the exact same thing, no difference. Well it turns out, the MIG-29G is accurate to the game description about having western avionics, it DOES have western avionics! The radar and some other parts in the cockpit are completely different. I wish I noticed this earlier(I've only started using the Fulcrum more lately). The G and A lack a special function BUT they can indeed pull cobras. Airspeed has to be below 200km/hr I think, and all that is needed is to yank the stick till you hear the audible warning tone and hear it pause. You can perform a kulbit and tailslide as well, though the cobra is not as dramatic as the Flanker. I remembered that on the real Flanker the AOA limiter had to be temporarily disabled to perform the cobra. I also remembered that the Fulcrum had "soft" stops that could be pulled through if needed to pull more G by the pilot. Perhaps the game reflects this too?(I read this in a comparison between the fulcrum and hornet and falcon, and how the fbw systems in both the falcon and hornet did not enable the planes to go beyond their AOA limit, but the fulcrum's did).

CM's just had a figure come out called GoShogun. I've read reviews about it and it sounds like its a very very good toy. If the Legioss turns out the same way, I will pick it up. I'm relatively new to Mospeada so I am more forgiving of whatever inaccuracies this toy has. As long as it is durable, has ratchets, and tight joints, I will buy. If it can also replicate that pose in armo soldier combined with the tread it will be awesome.

It's got 2 Gripens man! The game looks awesome indeed, I was used to watching it on youtube, then when first played it, WHOA. A world of difference! I hope it gets a sequel with more planes. 1disc worth of planes and missions as an add on would be GREAT! LIke the F-14D, YF-23, Kfir, F-4, F-104, F-15C AESA with helmet sight.

I'm on the 3rd stage of hell mode now. Still getting used to the F-1's avionics. Much harder to understand than the other planes in the game, but I do appreciate the authenticity. I still have a hard time finding out how fast I am actually going in the plane, I wonder which gauge to look at? Using that plane in the game is definitely a different experience in comparison to the other planes available. I hope the cockpit has an AOA guage. Also can anyone tell me how the VDI or 2nd screen in the Tomcat works? The F-22 is very powerful in the game. It also has a very large payload. I like it, just wish it had a helmet mounted sight, however since the real one has yet to mount one in its frontline squadrons, I think the developers wanted to stick to accuracy. Now they did that with the X-35C and....wow the F-35B is a whole lot better. The X-35C in this game is modeled after that prototype that the Pax River team retired 3 years ago. In the game, it lacks a gun, and cannot carry anything internally. I wish we could get the F-35C instead.....that would be awesome. Oh and it does have the bigger wings too.

I went to the Langley Air Show this past weekend. Sadly no F-104 nor F-4 this time. =(. (The F-104 did an unscheduled demo last year since another plane that was set to fly, was not able to fly). The F-22 was the highlight, it impressed my friends a lot who've never seen it flying in person. It performed a kulbit. I liked its demo better than the Thunderbirds demonstration. The Thunderbirds had a nice show but I am partial to the Blue Angels. Now what would improve the Thunderbirds show would be the music. Just leave it with the traditional theme they've had, no need to hear U2, with Limp Bizkit, then Saliva, and have a song alternate every 5 minutes, songs that have been played to death on the radio for the past 5-10 years. They did not have as many planes in the static display this year, so that was dissapointing as well. Other than that, it was a good end to a long weekend. The F-22 was very impressive, and each time I looked at it, I kept wondering:"If only they had the helmet mounted sight to cue their AIM-9X's, then this plane would be truly the best thing we've got". I mean as of now it is the best we have, but it lacks the helmet sight that the Super Bug, AESA F-15C, and some F-16's have. That and I had just unlocked the F-22 in OverG the night before, so I was itching to see it again.

You forgot Max's TV Type VF-1A! NO ONE has bothered making that! AT ALL! Yet its the one he kicked the most ass in(the one episode where he saved Hikaru, Kakizaki and Misa on board the Zentran ship then disguised himself as a soldier, and of course, the first fight he had with Milia).

And they even brought Doug from part 1 back from the dead in part IV!(That movie sucked btw). The only redemption of part IV was bringing back the main character who it turns out was imprisoned in a russian gulag, and showing the F-16 in action again. David's idea for TopGun II would have been cool but the only thing I can see for a sequel now is just Maverick as a instructor flying an F/A-18C schooling Super Hornet pilots. Nonetheless, I know thats probably what won't happen and knowing hollywood, they will probably bring Tom Skerrit in to play Maverick instead, and retcon Goose somehow and say he was actually in a coma. Add in some dude from the OC or Laguna Beach as the lead hotshot young pilot who needs to be schooled, oh and of course, CG some of the planes. Yep, I have low hopes for this one

KOTOR II wasn't needed in my opinion. It added some new things that were pleasing, but overall, KOTOR didn't need a sequel. Besides you could still be a sith in the first one! I think KOTOR II suffered as a result of being helmed by a different company(even if the CEO's from both that company and Bioware are a married couple I believe). Since Bioware is rumored to be working on III, I think it has potential to be just as good, if not better than the first. I liked the story a lot. Subtle hints, but the revelation of who you really are was not something I could see coming.

Dreadwing is first seen in the comics and it even says he is from the video game on the package. He is more than likely mistransformed. To my knowledge this is the first MIG-29 Fulcrum transformer and I am pretty excited for it. I dislike the purple though. Nonetheless, he will be a good complement to the classics seekers. Emerald Twilight first mentioned him and Thundercracker months back, and turns out nearly everything he said was legit. and meh_cd I agree, that is why I am just going to get 1 spare starscream and 2 spare ramjets to customize the seekers on my own. It will be my first custom job but alas, I feel better that way than cashing $300+ for the botcon versions.

Its just a logical conclusion/rumor that has been spreading ever since the seekers were unveiled as Botcon exclusives. Until I hear any concrete explanation from hasbro otherwise, I'll just wait till I hear the answers from the botcon panels that the tf sites will post online.

I heard that Todd Mcfarlane had a hand in designing the movie costume, which I thought was cool of the movie team to do(to reach out to him since he designed the comic version years back). Venom looks bigger in CGI than his human counterpart, so it doesn't seem too bad to me.

Well, the air force and navy have different purposes and they both have a long running rivalry. The Air Force did not exactly want to swallow their pride and take in both the F-4 and A-7. Also all naval aircraft need beefy landing gear/strengthened undercarriage and on land based planes, its just more weight that isn't needed and could hinder performance. It also boils down to the "all the eggs in one basket" argument and the carrier vs long range bomber argument. If both services ended up using the all the same planes on all the same missions, people would start questioning why the navy would even need airplanes. Well thats the way I see it. But I do see your point in that naval planes can be adapted to air forces that are land based, good point with the f-18 and f-4.

I agree with Graham. Having bought 2 1/100's in febuary, I can certainly say, you'd want them in a 14 year old's hands. These will not survive kids. If it were made by PVC it might be different, but nearly the entire thing is made of ABS, it has tougher plastic than a 1/144 gundam kit, but its constructed in a very similar fashion. Besides, the bandais are awesome, historic, and hell I am 23 and still love them! They may not be the most accurate and sure they are dated, but they are still the most durable and playable valkrie toys out there! Funny thing about the 1/100 is that its best mode is the battroid mode.

I want Soundwave because the fact that its an mp3 player is a nifty gimmick and, well most importantly, This is the only Soundwave with FULL ARTICULATION and a nice sculpt. Titanium Soundwave is nothing like this thing! So I am buying it mostly on account of how well the figure turned out.It's my "classics" Soundwave

It does? I wonder how fast it is. Mplayer worked best for me, faster too! (Actually it is way faster than VLC to me, both on my imac, and recent macbook pro.) If you want to try it, dl the one I posted earlier and just remember to input what it says to in the advanced parameters section. After that, cycle through your subs with "v" and "b" and you're set! Its faster than VLC and does not lag.

I will try to do that but it won't be for a long while. I have yet to get XBL, and I realized only recently that you need XBL to do online multiplay. (I originally thought the XBL Silver enabled that but you actually need gold I think....whichever is the one you have to pay annually is the one you need). But I do look forward to that. Do you have pics of that plane to unlock? Is it the golden eagles or 305th? I tried searching for pics but can't find the exact one unlockable. And hell mode...holy moly. I will have to give that one a shot after my 3rd or 4th playthrough, I heard you have to beat all the strategic missions with the F-1!! If they ever make a sequel I want all of the JASDF fighters represented, like the ones that got left out here: F-104, T-2, T-4, F-4EJ I realize they focused on the teen fighters and up but man if your going to put the F-1 in, you mineswell put in the F-104 and F-4. Also the Tornado IDS, ADV, and harrier II and Sea Harrier FRS.2 would be welcome additions, as well as the MIG-29K, and SU-30MKI. And the Kfir, what a tease to drag that one in but not let it be playable! I love the attention to detail and am still wondering if the X-35C in the game has bigger wings than the F-35B like it does in real life. Also I think in the area where the chairman is hostage, there is one mission to destroy enemy fighters, that has a TON of SAMS in your area. STAY THE HELL away from the SAMs when you do that mission! They fire SO many that the framerate drops and the game lags! You hear them hit your plane repeatedly as well....I hate those things! Best strategy is to destroy the first 2 air targets quick hopefully with an off boresight missle, and BREAK HARD LEFT, light your burners, and climb! Then ispatch the rest of the targets. Helps to have some SLAM ERs also.

Guys I don't know if we touched on this in the very 1st super thread. but after playing OverG I am slowly, slowly beginning to see what the F-35 is like in combat and its advantages, with that said, Which is the better F/A-18C replacement: F/A-18E or F-35C? Discuss! And for that matter, which is the better F-16C replacement: F-16 block 60 w/those obstrusive external tanks or F-35A? RIP to the Blue Angels pilot. I read that he was the top stick in his class(I think this was in VF-101). He joined the Angels in 2005.

I think you pulled an inverted flat spin. I have yet to enter a flat in that game. The Flanker can do a tailslide, where you go vertical, and then cut your engines, keep the nose pointed up. It will start to fall backwards and then it will nose down. There is also a Kulbit, in which you nose up, cut your limiter, then IMMEDIATELY pull up, it makes it do a backflip. Does anyone know for sure if the MIG-29's have special functions in the game? I only have the G and haven't noticed anything. There is a rumor that they can do Cobras in the game as well but I don't know. Previously I read they lacked special functions but the guide I read also failed to mention that the F-14B could carry bombs.
