Yea I wanted bicep swivels, and leg articulation like Magnus or Mirage. Jetfire's legs are made like Astrotrain's and that was dissapointing. And really the forearm swivels were redundant since he had wrist swivels. Bicep swivels would have been much better.

Well jetfire was designed for kids....and also sold at a fraction of the price of the 1/48. I like it but I never expected it to be something like a 1/48. Now if I was handling masterpiece starscream, that would be another story altogether and comparable to the 1/48. I do agree that it is much more complex than the cybertron toys.

Hey guys would the movie starscream toy look better if its tail fins were swiveled the other way around>? Seems like it would make it more accurate.

Wave 1 was a lot looser than the 2nd wave, hell the 2nd wave was a bit too tight.

Hey guys with the new shoulder parts the VF-0 should be good to go and just as durable as the 1/48 correct? What about the catch that holds the hip joints in fighter mode, I heard it can be worn down over time, any issues with it breaking yet?

The MS certainly look better in action. Especially the Turn A itself. When the gust of smoke comes out of its mouth after it turns on. It just looks PISSED. Very awesome. Once you see it in movement it just looks like a very pissed off mobile suit.

Well its not satelite's fault that Kissdum is going down the drain. The director bailed on them, that guy was not going to work on Macross Flyer regardless. Kawamori has nothing to do with Kissdum aside mechanical design, and Satelite is just doing the animation. Kissdum is not Kawamori's baby, Flyer is.

I wonder if someone will photoshop Prime's robot mode into g1 colors. The truck mode definitely looks good in those colors. If it turns out that it won't get repainted, I'll still buy leader prime. Best homage to laser prime(my fav as a child) yet, its only missing a sword!

Agree completely on the Starscream and Thundercracker tidbit. His toy colors ALWAYS looked better than the baby blue bastard we'd see on tv. Why anyone would want those easter bunny colors for him is beyond me. Nostalgia or not, his cartoon colors SUCKED. Same with Starscream, his toy colors were more sinister and darker. I would be excited to see a AF grey accurate leader Starscream with no kibble in vehicle mode and better proportions in robot mode. I just wonder how concrete the hlj confirmation was. All signs currently point to a listing discrepency but I still hold hope. I wonder how good a G1 repaint of leader prime would be.

I've been playing the arena mode more often in an effort to find big bosses and unlock their planes. So far I have unlocked Big Boss mode and shot Saviola down 4 times. He has an F/A-18F in VFA-102 Diamond Backs' 50th anniversary CAG scheme. Awesome color scheme! YF-23's will randomly show up sometimes as Bosses. They are hard to shoot down because due to their stealth nature, they will show up at times, and often dissapear from radar. Its annoying when trying to lock on a heat seeker since their signature seems to change a lot, making the seeker lose lock a lot. Nonetheless its realistic, so I think its cool that they did this. The best way to kill them is to approach from behind, ignore your gun cues to shoot, and use your guns to gun them down. Since they break lock a LOT since they are stealth, its best to disregard your radar calculations from your pipper, aim with the midpoint on the top part of the HUD(looks like a cross on some HUDS)or pipper if its broken lock, and fire. I have been playing hell mode. I cannot find info I need online. Does anyone know the AOA and G limits of the Mitsubishi F-1? Is there a guide to its cockpit? I can't tell where the speedometer is. I cannot tell where the AOA guage is or if there is one. Its hard to understand the Hud. In attack mode I just see a 0 and 2 10's. I am not sure what they measure since they do not move. This is on the bottom of the HUD. In NAV it becomes a speedometer with different readings. I hope an F-15C with AESA and HMS is in a sequel if they make one. The F-15C/D/J/DJ is potent in the game, I love flying it. A HMS would increase its lethality a LOT.

They are just positioned wrong in a way. The photographer forgot the pull the heads all the way up. Some of the helmets were not arched forward all the way either.

Heh. They should have just made Classics Jetfire into Darkwing, at least their alt modes would be similar. Darkwing was base on the Panavia Tornado, had swing wings, and combined with Dreadwind. Why they went with Dreadwind is beyond me. It just would have made more sense mold wise and homage wise to go with Darkwing.

Its more or less we knew repaints/retools were coming, its just a matter of what paint schemes were used and whether or not they'd be g1 homages or all new. Hasbro repaints/retools almost all of their molds at least once. Since this is a movie with characters based on g1 characters, g1 repaints were a given. I do agree about movie prime, I like the toy designs better than the movie designs. I honestly think the movie line might set the standard for all mainline transformer toys now in regards to the automorph gimmick and level of detail.

It looks awesome, a lot better than some of the Primes in recent years, and possibly a contender for best mainline prime. I'm almost sure I'll like this one as much as Cybertron Prime, RID Prime, and Laser Rod Prime.
