Which one is that? The only SP scheme I have ever seen is the CFA-44's, and that was just with a screencap. Is the F-14D SP any good?

Deem them "collectable items". Just saw that at a 1/18 scale blog with regards to the expensive "toys" we now play with. They call them collectable items rather than toys. Sure as hell sounds better than models.

Check yours for stress marks around the engine covers and the wing hinges. Members of tfw2005.com suggested trimming the hinges on the wings a bit to alleviate the stress from folding for transformation. Its seemed to help. I plan on doing this soon.

Once won a match with the F-16 AC2 type. Either Battle Royale or Team Battle. Forgot which. That plane looks awesome. Some of the guys playing the CFA-44 aren't that great. You'll also run into those who spam their EML and crash intentionally if you fire at them.

Transformation looks like its fairly straightforward and easy to replicate in a toy. Especially compared to the YF-19, SV-51 and YF-21. Which are still small for a PG valkyrie. MG yes, but for PG its too small. I imagine any VF-25 toy Bandai makes will be variable. Out of the lines they make now, Soulspec seems like a better fit than SOC. Though I would not mine either one. Or perhaps a new line altogether, so we can get a DX VF-25 w/FAST pack giftset with styrofoam interior packaging. BTW Zinjo your avatar kicks ass. If we are this impressed with the VF-25, imagine if its not even the main valk to be used in the majority of the series. Imagine if there is something better yet to be seen. So far I like what I see.

Its a necessity for them, without as many kids to sell to, they HAVE to make something adults will buy. Same reason most of their recent offerings, as well as Takara's have been aimed at adult markets. The last toy they made for a Kawamori franchise was the DX black Aquarion, and that toy was certainly not for children. We can expect the same for any Macross F releases, if it is indeed them who have a toy license.

I'm with you on that, nothing looked more out of place than his huge helmet in a Tomcat. The 3rd Ace from 93 is the best one.

Ah, as much as I liked AC4, I always thought of Mobius 1 as the most overrated AC character ever. Same reason why I couldn't care less when it was announced that he and Yellow 13's schemes were DLC on the Japanese AC6. I will say this though, Namco never made much different schemes for the F-22 that weren't simple derivatives of each other. A Razgriz Tomcat, Jolly Rogers, or even VF-1 Wolfpack would be great for the Tomcat. Makes me wonder why no one has ever bothered to make that scheme in a game for the Tomcat, its one of the best. I want some Hiko Kyodotai Eagles. Being that AC6 is popular in japan, its puzzling that they have yet to add a Hiko Kyodotai eagle to DLC. Especially when the main plane is the Strike Eagle.

We might still be able to get a 1/60 VF-25, it all depends what Bandai's license covers. If I recall correctly, licenses are per scale. Same reason there are up different companies making Mospeada Ride Armors in different sizes as well as the mecha from Megazone 23. A VF-25 in 1/60 might be rather small for a PG kit.. Most Macross mecha are dwarfed by Gundams unless you compare V Gundam. Soulspec is the best bet, or maybe even 1/55, a scale Bandai is mostly known for in Macross, and unused by yamato.

Doubtful. The birthrate is dwindling even lower this year, and all the japanese companies that target collectors, are targeting them even moreso now, compared to past years. They know they have to up the ante against Yamato if they are to persue the license. If they are given the license, SCHM Pro, SoulSpec valks and others are likely. Unless the birth rate booms in the next few years, it is doubtful we are ever going to get kid orientated M7-like toys from Bandai.

One of my favorite pivotal moments is in "Force of Arms" when Hikaru sees Kaifun kiss Minmei, Shao Pai Laon plays in the background, and Hikaru goes ape with his Super valkyrie after bidding farewell to Minemei. The shimmer from his visor and the visor of the VF-1S was well timed and awesome in that scene. Its just more dramatic in the original than in robotech.

I too grew up with Robotech but was vastly more impressed by the original Macross after seeing the Animeigo sets. Much more mature, and everything makes more sense. It inspires me to buy more chunky monkeys, and flip through my Perfect Memory book.

Hopefully the red/black trim VF-25 is piloted by a main character so we can see it onscreen a lot. That is a beaut.

Okay, so it looks like there is skull squadron or one influenced by it. The symbol is a skull with wings blended in. Color scheme is similar. I wonder if the guy piloting the yellow/black trimmed VF-25 is a descendant of Roy. The 2 different sets of armor look great, as well as the last shot of a VF-25 in gerwalk in red/black trim. I wonder who pilots that. Looks great so far. I wish I knew the premiere date. This looks awesome. The theme song is catchy too.

Well that sucks. The best freebie would have been the Thundershark A-10. Free aircraft should be planes like the Hawk, A-4 Skyhawk, F-5E, Draken, F-1, etc. I keep hoping the next packs include aircraft new to the hangar.

HELL YES. That is a plane worthy of the points. However this time around, they should give it better stats than the F-22 in some areas(in 5/0 the 22 had better overall stats, however as we know, the 23 had the edge over the 22 in certain key areas).

Both. A lot harder than normal. BTW I want downloadable content that is at least a new plane altogether, not just an upgraded version of a plane already in the hangar. Also, I found out the Historic Windhover Falcon is a plane one of the Emmerian pilots uses, and one plane in pack 002 is apparently free. I have a feeling its either the Windhover Falcon or Thundershark A-10. Also the Thundershark apparently has a devastating cannon, moreso than the regular A-10. I say give us the OA-10B, the devastating gun, a ton of FAEBs instead. Bringing back the A-6 would be cool too.

DESTRO, hisstank.com's admin is a huge fan of BATS. I like the 2nd version. There is the DTC 6 pack of BATS that you might still be able to track down for a good price. I never bought it but it did look very nice. The bad thing about waves 7 and 8 is that there is yet another Snake Eyes. I can only hope it is at least a different version, such as v3, v4, or Ninja Force(bad group, nice costume), instead of a carryover from past waves. I'm in the minority but v4(neon visor) was one of my favorite Snake Eyes costumes ever.

Wave 4 is coming soon, the wave of single figures from the box sets. Vipers are in the walmart computer for wave 7 or 8. Of course fellas we can all agree, you can't possibly have Ace without the Skystriker. Come on Hasbro bring it!(I think asking for the skystriker is what I am known for most in the joe community).

Laziest repaint I've seen. Not even worth it, lesser speed for more durability. Blah. What the Super Bug really needs is the XMAA in the game. Historic Windover seems worth it judging by the stat increase for the Falcon(FINALLY). Plus it looks good. Thundershark Hog gives you more than double SP weapons compared to the regular. I'd love to see a 50th anniversary VFA-102 Diamondbacks F/A-18F with XMAA. THAT would be worth downloading. Also an F-15S/TMD in AC3 blue color scheme with the canards and thrust vectoring nozzles, as well as the ability to shoot 4 regular missles at the same time, like in AC3.

Awesome, better chance of a toy being made. I hope we see a more appealing color scheme(well the current scheme on it now is bland to me).

Most stress marks were there prior to opening, and I saw mine, checked to see if they got worse while moving parts, and none of them did. Its probably just from when the factory workers inserted the pins, thats all.

As far as I know, nothing, its a carry over from wave 5.

I think the VF-171 designation denotes the fact that its a training craft. Then again, I'm not even sure if it is just a trainer. I wonder how its capabilities compare to the VF-17. I just saw the trailer and the song wasn't bad. I'm glad we are getting an all new series. I miss Macross!

Looks like he has full elbow movement this time around, rather than hindered like Duke and Flint.
